We used Unforgettable Edibles for a work brunch and from the very beginning they were easy to work. Jill answered emails quickly and was very accommodating as we were incorporating serving people with a variety of dietary needs. Delivery and set up was easy. Their presentation for the buffet was lovely and the food was delicious. We got lots of compliments from staff telling us how much they enjoyed the food.
One hundred percent would recommend and use them again!

Unforgettable Edibles recently provided us with the most amazing catering service for our wedding (5÷28÷16). Our guests were thoroughly impressed with everything they ate and many said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.
Some appetizers our guests cant stop raving about include the lobster endive boats and the lamb chop lollipops.
For the main course many of our guests loved the Filet that they ordered. It was well worth the price as people didn’t leave feeling hungry and they were served a nice portion instead of a tiny little piece of beef.
We would be glad to recommend them to ANYONE and would love to use them again in the future. The staff is simply amazing.

I emailed Unforgettable Edibles on March 14, 2016 (Monday) about my upcoming May 21, 2016 wedding, a small event for about 15 people total. They were my first choice to contact because they were on the preferred caterer list for my wedding venue and they received phenomenal reviews on Unilocal.I received a response and a form to complete to provide more details about the wedding the same day. I completed and emailed this form back, also on March 14^th. On March 17^th (Thursday), I sent a follow up email to inquire if the form had been received because I had not heard anything, not even an acknowledgement that the form had been received. the response I received that same day was that it was a busy week and that I would have a proposal from them the next week. I was fine with that because I know it is a small business and things can get hectic. However, I did not actually hear anything back from them until March 24^th (Thursday…a full week after the previous email contact), and then it was to apologize and tell me that my quote would be delivered the following week. By that time, I had already sought out another small business caterer who worked with me, also via email, and I had every ready to go in 2 days. Maybe they are a great catering company, if you can catch them at a time where they aren’t too busy to provide timely customer service.

Unforgettable Edibles catered our 40^th anniversary party in November and they did an outstanding job! The food was plentiful and delicious, leftovers were carefully packed and the staff who assisted at our party were very friendly and professional. We were very impressed and will definitely look to U.E. in the future for our catering needs.

We used Unforgettable Edibles for our company’s holiday party at Firehouse Chicago, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Jill was great at helping create a menu, and making any changes that I requested. They also had many gluten-​free, dairy-​free, and nut-​free options, which the attendees were very thankful for. We had two wait staff at our event of 75 people, and they did a great job not only taking care of the food, but cleaning up all around the venue as well. I would definitely recommend Unforgettable Edibles!

GREAT! Eileen and Jill were very easy to work with and the food is incredible. Used them for a corporate meeting we had and everyone was asking where the food was from. Will definitely be using them going forward for any catering needs. Thanks again!

U.E. helped us to hold an amazing event! We were having our senior exhibition in Chicago and were having difficulty with food options as we were coming from Champaign the day of the event and had no way to bring a lot of stuff with us. I found U.E. through Unilocal and then found myself talking to Careen (sp?) on the phone who listened and answered all of my unsure questions. I was really unsure of how to approach it because as a college student, the words catering companies=weddings/other big big events.
Day of: The delivery was right on time. I forget the name of the lady who delivered our food, but she was super sweet and also the chef. She was really friendly and helpful and even helped us with tips on how to serve the food and arrangement and such.
Food: I still remember it because everything was super yummy. Sandwiches, both veggie and meat options. Asiago cheese dip (so good. Leftovers froze well and still tasted great post reheating) cookies and brownies. Another kind of dip I think, possibly a fruit and cheese plate. I just know that everything we ordered got positive reviews from parents, students, professors, vegetarians, omnivores,. everyone!
Price: So much more affordable for our event than other caterers in the area. We came in under our budget and had leftovers!

We had our wedding reception at the Irish American Heritage Center in NW Chicago in March 2015, and Unforgettable Edibles did the catering for us – and really took care of so many little and big things for us over the weeks leading up to the wedding, it’s hard to believe they were technically «only the caterers» and not full-​on wedding coordinators.
We worked with Jill in particular, and she was consistently knowledgable, patient, no-​nonsense (nice for the hubs especially), and gave great advice and perspective throughout our experience. During the wedding week itself, we had so many last-​minute changes (not something I ever like) that I was sure Jill would pull me aside and say, «You know what, we just can’t do x, y, or z, it’s too late», but she never did.
She was sooo patient and kept me calm, and even took on a little bit of an Olivia Pope aura. («It’s handled.»)
Oh, and also the food was amazing, of course — it got rave reviews from the critical elder crowd as well as the foodies. The cocktail-​hour bites were amazing, and the waitstaff were fantastic.
The hubs and I like to say that we’re never getting married again (you know: it’s crazy stressy even while it’s the Most Wonderful Day Of Your Life!) — but if we did, we would absolutely hire Jill and her team again, hands down.

Wow! Unforgettable Edibles was the caterer for our September 2014 wedding and we could not have been happier with the outcome. In response to the first few emails, we received menu recommendations tailored to the descriptions they asked us to provide about ourselves. Since I am of Hungarian descent and my husband is from Philadelphia, they put together a fun and unique menu that our guests continue to rave about (many saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had). Unforgettable Edibles were also the best value we found in our exhaustive search of Chicago caterers, if you want a traditional plates dinner. Jill, who worked with us, was wonderful. Despite changing my mind several times, she politely answered every email promptly and helpfully. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a seamless dinner at their wedding, staff that goes above and beyond before and during the wedding day, and some seriously awesome food. Thanks again Jill!

Unforgettable Edibles regularly caters lunch for our office and while I cannot speak to working with them directly, their food is always AMAZING! We’ve switched over to ordering from them directly more often instead of using a corporate delivery service, and the quality of food is fantastic (especially their desserts — yum).
On one of their first deliveries, they brought us soup with two options — one with meat, and one without. The soup without meat (potato leek) was made with chicken broth, so our two vegetarians were unable to eat either. When we let them know, they made sure to always ensure vegetarian options were available going forward. Other companies goof this up frequently, so we were impressed!
They’re very friendly and always arrive on time. Highly recommend!

I ordered an office lunch for 35 people for St. Patrick’s day from Unforgettable Edibles and boy am I GLAD I did. Their customer service is impeccable and they are extremely professional and go above and beyond your expectations. Very, very attentive to making your event the best it can be no matter what the size. They pay attention to the smallest details such as making little id cards for the dishes being served. The food arrives piping hot. The presentation is awesome. They set up the food for you versus some catering restaurants that drop the food off and leave or even make you come to the curb to pick it up. I have used them several times and every time I’ve ordered the staff has raved about the taste of the food. They are definitely my first choice for catering. And my most favorite thing they do is, if something is not on the menu, they will gladly make it for you. And being able to customize your order to whatever you want versus hopping from one restaurant to another is a plus. Takes out the guess work of where to order all the time. Now that’s above and beyond to me. You just get a very good vibe working with them over the phone, by email and in person. They have very good people skills and you can tell they care about their customers. Very warm and friendly.

We hired U.E. to cater a luncheon and they did a beautiful job; presentation was top notch and the food was delicious.
Jill was knowledgeable and patient (patient given that I was emailing constantly and calling at the last minute to increase our food count) and she handled everything with ease.
We ordered food for 48 and had plenty leftover. I highly recommend the ham & cheese quiche, dill Dijon potato salad and the mini assorted sandwiches.

When you turn 40, you just have to go big or go home. That’s why I had UE cater my 40^th birthday this summer. We were pleased with how everything turned out. The party was at our home and we had 2 gals to help with food and 1 bartender. We ended up with 7 or 8 heavy hordeurves and there was more than enough food. The ladies were professional, so friendly and kept our house nice and tidy.
We rented a few high boys, bar tending table, linens and used their glassware. It was nice not to have to worry about washing dishes.
They cut my cake for me at the end of the evening and by the time it was the end of the 6 hours we paid for their services, my kitchen was spotless and they arranged the remaining food with labels and to-​go containers. Couldn’t have been easier.
I would highly recommend them and look forward to being able to cater another event with Unforgettable Edibles!

We LOVED working with Jill from start to finish! We found unforgettable edibles on Unilocal and they had the most reasonable prices and awesome food! Jill not only acted as catering manager but gave us tips and took charge of all rentals which was a huge relief. She was nothing but patient and accommodating when we changed linens, appetizers, chairs etc over the course of working with her. The wedding ended up absolutely beautiful and we are still getting compliments on the food (especially the lamb chops, bacon wrapped dates apps and late night pizza!)

We hired Unforgettable Edibles for our wedding that took place on May 23, 2014 at Salvage One. From the moment we met Jill, she was truly professional, always available to answers any questions and also most importantly she helped guide us, with our food choice due to ourselves being overwhelmed with the choices that were available. She reminded us that her and her staff would take care of everything and they sure did. She truly made this whole process come together. Not only is she amazing but the food was amazing. I can not stop getting compliments about how amazing the food was and how it was not the typical wedding food that everyone is use to. They said that chicken and beef were great both had flavor and were not dry nor did they lack anything. Compliments on the salad as well as the appetizers which I loved the dates wrapped in bacon. Jill truly seemed like my second wedding coordinator. She was always there to help us even after we forgot to order shot glasses and flutes the day before the wedding. I would highly recommend her and Unforgettable Edibles to anyone I know and will definitely use them in the future.

I called UE the Friday before St. Patrick’s Day to cater a small work party (15 ppl) and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I worked with Careen, who was very nice, and the food was delivered right on schedule. The food was so delicious, everyone kept asking where it was from. This is definitely my new go-​to caterer!

I had a surprise 60^th Birthday Party for my father last weekend and Unforgettable Edibles catered the event. Jill, the catering manager was so amazing. She was patient with me and my many changes to the menu, she was prompt in responding to me (even when she was on vacation), and she provided me with the support and reassurance I needed considering this was my first major planning event of 80 guests. Furthermore, she really worked with me to stay within my budget and was the prices were very reasonable compared to other caterers.
The delivery personnel were very friendly, professional and punctual. They displayed all of the food with cards to describe each item making it very easy for my servers to identify and describe the passed food items to the guests.
The items Jill selected were truly unforgettable. My guests complimented the food all night. They absolutely loved the Crab Tartlets! I wish I had ordered more. Jill even followed up with me after the event to ensure that I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend Unforgettable Edibles for your next major event… I certainly plan to use them again in the future.

Unforgettable Edibles catered our wedding this past Saturday and it was flawless! From the minute we started working with Jill, we knew that this was the caterer for us! Their food is delicious (the bacon-​wrapped, chorizo-​stuffed date appetizers are a MUST), but not only that they were extremely communicative throughout the wedding process. It never took longer than a few hours to hear back from Jill when I sent her an email and she was extremely patient with us as we changed our minds numerous times in the planning process. They were organized, kind, and we had complete trust in them when it came time for the big day.
I should also mention that they were the most affordable caterer that we quoted — and for a bride and groom on a budget, this was important. Though they were affordable, their food and service in no way lacked in quality.
We had a DIY wedding, so we brought in all of the décor to our venue. Unforgettable Edibles happily set-​up every last detail in our venue and they executed it all perfectly. They were willing to do whatever we asked of them, which was so great because it was one less thing we had to worry about on the big day.
We received many compliments from our guests on the deliciousness of the food and guests also commented about how friendly and accommodating the Unforgettable Edibles staff was. Jill and Mary are great, the waitstaff was efficient and friendly, the bartenders poured great drinks, and the chef worked magic in the kitchen.

UO catered my wedding in June, and we couldn’t be happier with how they did! Weddings in the city of Chicago can get super expensive pretty quickly, so it was amazing to find a caterer that was able to do a great job without breaking the bank.
My husband and I are both vegetarians as well, and they were really able to accomodate that nicely. The vegetarian option was roasted vegetables and shells in a creamy vodka sauce, while the chicken option was stuffed chicken with artichokes and roasted red peppers. Everyone at the wedding (both vegetarian and omnivore) was impressed by the food!
They don’t do cakes, but there is another HUGE perk: they don’t have a cake cutting fee. Although we ended up opting for cake balls instead of cake, it was nice to know that we wouldn’t have to pay a ton for them to cut a cake for us.
