Transproperties Management

Our 40 unit townhome association switched to Transproperties about a year ago and they are wonderful!
The difference between our old management company and Transproperties has been night and day — with the prior company, we had to hound them to get any followthrough on our requests, their recordkeeping was a shambles, communications on issues happened entirely by email so that reconstructing a complex communication chain was almost impossible, and while they did identify some issues warranting our attention, they allowed too many systemic problems to be addressed on a one-​off basis without assessing the best possible approach to handling them. We wondered whether, at 40 units, we were simply too small to be a priority for them.
Transproperties has put all proposals, contracts and task tracking online so they can be accessed at any time. They are very responsive to both board member and resident requests. In addition, they are constantly monitoring the property, raising additional helpful suggestions on a regular basis to make things better. We had a large backlog of items that needed to be handled, and Transproperties has done a great job of juggling these many projects and priorities so that all urgent items are addressed in a timely manner and we also consistently and rapidly make headway on all long term issues. Working with Transproperties, I have the sense that they are constantly looking out for all possible blind spots, and putting effort into finding the best solution, not just the first solution, for all issues.
Working with Brawley and the rest of the team at Transproperties has been great. I am on the board, and to date, I have not had a single interaction with any member of Transproperties staff in which they were anything less than helpful, informative, reasonable and friendly. They know how to find humor in difficult situations, and how to persist to a resolution even when an issue is very complex to solve. They take responsibility, apologize and improve if they do make a mistake and are transparent in their process. They are smart and professional, take great notes, and have great ideas.

After self-​managing our 18-​unit condo building for 5 years, we finally turned to a professional management company. We interviewed four companies that specialized in managing small condo buildings and ultimately hired Transproperties. Since Brawley and his crew took over in 2010, we’ve been very pleased. Our finances and property are in better shape than when we self-​managed. From the small day-​to-​day issues such as paying bills, replacing light bulbs, and landscaping to major issues like roof and masonry repairs, Transproperties has guided our Association through it all. Congratulations to us… we could not have been more correct! Brawley Reishman and the entire Transproperties enterprise have been a welcome change from our old do-​nothing management company. Our property manager, Josh, is incredibly responsive not just to the board of directors, but to individual owners as well. Their e-​billing system, multiple payment methods and general organizational skills have made things easy for us. In the past, our board members had to do a lot of the legwork ourselves when it came to building management (even though we had a management company). Now we know that Brawley and Josh are on the job and will do whatever is necessary — and more — to keep our building looking good and running well.
