Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Bian «Bee» Li is a former globetrotter turned investment banker turned Founder and Editor-in-Chief on a mission to empower young women the world over, starting in Chicago. Bee’s lifelong passion for women’s empowerment began while conducting microfinance research with women’s groups in Kenya as a Borlaug-Ruan intern for the World Food Prize Foundation, for which she was a recipient of the 2001 John Crystal Award. When she’s not trying to catch up on sleep, Bee is attempting to add to her photography portfolio, catalog her family’s delicious Sichuan cuisine recipes, hit the salsa dance floor, follow the Moto GP circuit and plan her next scuba adventure.
