I had a great experience here. I’m starting a cleanse and needed to pick up various supplements, all of which were completely foreign to me. After fumbling around the store on my own, I asked for some help and the manager immediately recognized all the names of the supplements. He helped me find all but one, which he recommended I search online for the concentration my cleanse required. I wish I remembered his name; it was so refreshing to be in a store with genuinely knowledgeable customer service. They also weren’t pushy at all and made me feel completely comfortable. I’d definitely come back.

I will NEVER be back. Not to this store or ANY of their locations. I am sooooooo pissed off by their poor customer service strictly towards my spouse and I. We were not greeted, but other customers were. They asked other customers if they needed assistance, wouldn’t even look at us. We went to pay and the woman was so rude and disrespectful to my spouse that I about threw a fit. Basically threw the bag at him. Didn’t thank him and gave me a disgusted look. We did absolutely NOTHING to deserve that treatment and I honestly believe they were being racist/prejudice towards my spouse. People like this should not be In sales or customer service.

The employees here are characters, usually in a good way, but they are also sometimes very poopy pants for ostensibly unknown reasons. And there seems to be a new manager few months for ostensibly unknown reasons, but my guess is that their employees might be treating new managers(and customers they think are square, or thieves, or I’m not perfectly sure) like teachers’ subs because«we’re done with work right now» or by actively getting rid of them like they to do customers /potential thieves like me. I prefer to be left alone to peruse and not have my psychology interrupted with«still good?» or «finding everything alright?» more than 3 times for the huge 20 minutes I’m there(every 7 minutes is like a gong). Instead of getting too frustrated by shopping, which is too easy to do at this intersection, I go to a different vitamin shoppe every other time to break up my ironic vitamin shopping experiences. But honestly, every vitamin shoppe seems to have at least one uniquely annoying character whose forehead I’d like to knock on just to verify it’s residence. They get 3 stars because of the curve, but they deserve only 2.5.

Better feel(daylight, friendliness of staff, layout, etc) than a GNC, and better prices than both GNC and XSport’s nutritional section. Plus, they don’t try to pawn off a bunch of weird supplements on you when you check out(like GNC tries to give you teeny samples of «appetite suppresants», but we all really know it’s legal/unregulated speed: xanadrene, xanthrexalatine, xanthaxanthaxanxxxxxx… you get the idea). Don’t take that stuff! But, DO check out the Vitamin shop for actual vitamins and any post-workout whey proteins. Great selection.

I use herbs for just about everything: migraines, upset stomach, inflammation, etc. so I’m really glad this store is here. I usually check online before I buy anything to see if I can get a better price. When you factor in shipping & handling, I’m better off to visit the Vitamin Shoppe. Between their website and their store, something I need is usually on sale. There is more than 1 brand of most items at varying prices so you can save money. The other reviewers mentioned inadequate staff. Personally, I’ve never had a problem, but I’ve always known what I needed before going into the store. I have the VS preferred card which awards you points after each purchase that can be redeemed for free stuff. What’s not to like about this store?

The Vitamin Shoppe is in a good location. There are a variety of selections of vitamins and supplements available. There are cold energy drinks available. There is always a sale on the tables in the front of the store, The staff is friendly and informative,

Nothing too fancy. Its a Vitamin Shoppe. Carries a pretty good selection of brands for herbs, mineral, greens, vitamins, exercise/nutritional supplements, and I know several other things I don’t pay attention to. The store brand hasn’t done me wrong and they usually have SOMETHING on sale. Plus you can earn points. And the standard prices are competitive.

Manager won’t price match Internet site? Need copy to verify? There’s a computer behind her that says check prices? Will be writing to corporate! Never coming here again!

Yeah, I probably won’t be coming back here any time soon. This was my first experience with any vitamin store of any kind(I’ve never even been to a GNC) but the Vitamin Shoppe doesn’t carry a lot of name brand stuff. Case in point: They do not carry any Centrum«One-A-Day» products, even though those are probably the most popular and most purchased vitamins ever. When I asked an employee about the One-A-Day vitamins, he blankly looked at me and explained that he had no idea what those were. What?! Doesn’t everyone know what these are? There’s at least one commercial per day about them on every channel and everyone takes One-A-Day. Disappointment, to say the least. I wasn’t really interested in any of their weird off-brand one-a-day vitamins, especially since they didn’t seem to have one to help with weight loss/weight management. The one employee that was wandering around didn’t seem to know anything about vitamins. He sounded like I would if I just started working there tomorrow. Sort of full of BS and trying really hard to make it sound like he knows what he’s talking about. He attempted to help me with sleep supplements and had no idea what melatonin was. Umm… it’s a very popular sleep supplement that occurs naturally in the body. I definitely felt like no one knew anything about vitamins in this store and I didn’t feel comfortable asking any more questions about products. They had a ton of weight loss, protein, muscle milk, meal replacement, etc., which is appreciated. However, they don’t sell any Slim Fast or Special K products, so I don’t really know what they have over in the diet section. I ended up buying one sleep supplement and doing the rest of my vitamin shopping across the street at Target. I probably won’t be back.

I just did a review on GNC and can say that while these two stores carry similar products, the Vitamin Shoppe is way better. When walking into GNC, you get a cramped, dark feel and are left without much choice. Then, you walk into the Vitamin Shoppe. The lights are crazy bright, and the store is huge. The shelves are stocked with tons of different products, and they sell things for certain activities(biking, camping, etc). Camelbak endorses there, so the stuff has got to be good. Not only does The Vitamin Shoppe offer more, is bigger, and is displayed nicer, but the products are about $ 2-$ 3 cheaper than the prices at GNC. That’s just good news all around. The guys who helped us here was very helpful, and he sounded like he knew his stuff. John asked his about some random vitamin questions and the guy not only gave thorough answers, but pointed us to the right products and told us what to avoid. I think I found my new protein shake store.
