Wife and I both visited several times over the pst few months, and in general, I’ve been very pleased. My hair cuts had rather different requirements (different hair cut needs over time) and she came up with great ideas each time.

Alexis revamped my long hair and clearly knows what she’s doing! Dee fixed my girlfriend’s short hair fohawk… It’s the best hair cuts we have ever gotten! They know hair and they have great hospitality. We are so happy we gave the suite spot a chance! We will definitely be coming here anytime we are in Chicago. Wish we could bring them home with us!

And I thought I would never find another barber who could be as good as the one in Saint Louis.
Thank goodness Dee was there to prove me wrong.

I may have finally found a hair stylist in Chicago! I went here based on the reviews. It was on a whim because I had issues booking with another salon and thought I’d give them a try. It was an awesome experience! The booking process was easy and you quickly receive an appointment confirmation, You’re offered a beverage when you arrive and are immediately seated for your appointment. There was no long wait which I greatly appreciated. I booked a blow dry & style and was out in an hour. Alexis worked wonders with my nappy, natural hair. She is personable, friendly and cares about making sure you look good and feel good. It’s even close to the L. If you’re looking for a salon that values your time and hair, this it it!

I knew immediately when I walked in that I picked the perfect place. Dee gave me a great haircut, and we all had a great conversation. They offer free water, coffee, beer and wine. They intentionally create an ambiance of hanging out in the comfort of your own home. I will definitely come back here for my next haircut! Check em out!

Alexis was hired to do the hair for a wedding party & bride. I decided to go first. She was so nice and happy to be there and learn about the upcoming wedding. I gave her little direction on what to do: just to keep my hair out of my face but still keep it classy/​romantic. I loved the low bun with thin twists she put together! She also added a lot of volume. And the best part… my hair stayed put all night long! She was very skilled and listened to her clients. I really do recommend going to her for hairdo’s.

Alexis G. has been my hair stylist for several years. She can cut/​color/​style just about any texture of hair so her clientele ranges from Caucasian, Asian, African American, Latino, etc people and everyone in between (like mutiracial me!). She has always been timely, attentive, honest, communicative, thorough, and reasonably priced. She also takes the time to listen to what you want for your hair which I feel is an extremely important attribute to have as a hair stylist. I have always felt that the health of my hair was in wonderfully capable hands and my hair always looks/​feels great after she is done cutting/​styling it! The Suite Spot salon is welcoming to all, comfortable, and cozy! No snobbery here! It’s very easy to get there since it is close to the elevated train, the subway, or if you prefer, the bus. If you drive your own vehicle, you will need to park on the street or a garage/​pay lot. I love to ride my bicycle around the city but I’ve yet to ride my bicycle down to get my hair done so not sure where you could securely lock a bike up :-\ I highly recommend going to The Suite Spot and seeing Alexis for all of your hair care needs!

And the best part of your experience is Dee delivers a perfect haircut every time. She’s a professional barber and I will be a loyal client even after I move to the burbs! I don’t feel like I want much in a haircut – just a thorough, consistent cut at a good value. Why that seems to be so hard to find at times is beyond me. Well, the Suite Spot definitely hits the mark. The quality of the cut is excellent, the experience is always comfortable and reliable, and the ease of booking through the website takes the hassle and guesswork out of scheduling a cut around my chaotic schedule. In fact, I was so impressed that I encouraged my wife to go and she was thrilled with the results and the value. The Suite Spot is truly a hidden gem in the Loop. My wife and I are now loyal clients, and if you’re looking for a new barber or stylist, I highly encourage you to give them a try. I suspect you’ll quickly find yourself a loyal client, too.

I went in looking for something a bit new than the classic barber shop. Price was great, super friendly staff. Alexis cut my hair, told me product suggestions or at least what type of product I might want to switch to with my hair type, and styled my hair perfectly. Will definitely be coming back. The modern vibe and sort or hidden gem aspect makes it great!

Alexis and Dee are THE most amazing hair stylists EVER! I have been seeing Alexis for a few years now and am so excited she has her own shop. Not only is she a great friend, but an absolutely amazing hair stylist. She always listens to what I want and will even go the extra mile if I want something different than I have. The Suite Spot is warm and inviting and cozy. You feel like you are sitting at your best friend’s house, listening to good music, chatting about life and love. Alexis is on point with her foiling technique, cuts and styling. She taught me this super cool technique with a flat iron to get wavy curls even with my short angled bob! She is always innovating ways to help me be «new» with my hair since it’s chin length. She makes me feel beautiful. Dee is also probably THE most talented barber I have ever seen and gives a pretty awesome head massage! These two women are a force to be reckoned with in the hair styling world and I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

This place lives up to its name… SWEET! I have followed Dee for the past few years and I will continue to follow her to the end of the world. The Suite Spot is a fun, hip place to get your hair did.
