Dr. Davenport and staff are the absolute best at what they do. My dentist referred me out to them. Beth, immediately received my records, insurance and followed up by email to schedule and explain the procedure and give me a quote. It’s an anxiety filled procedure to get a root canal but their clinic is quiet, peaceful and relaxing, but the staff and Dr. Davenport are how every clinic should be run. Aiesha, the dental assistant is absolutely a dream. Patient, funny and explained the entire procedure. No rushing me out to get to the next patient. Dr. Davenport’s bedside manner should be the gold standard. Great personality and kept me laughing — really got me relaxed. The procedure was painless! Hardly any pain with the shot and no pain since. I’m sitting here 12 hours later with zero pain. Solid skills. It really doesn’t take long at all too.

I had two root canals done by Dr. Davenport a few years ago. They were the first and only so far, and I had heard the stories of how bad root canal procedures could be, particularly back in the day. Much to my surprise, I had a great time! (as far as dental visits can go) No but really, Dr. Davenport is great and put me at ease from the beginning. The procedure itself was quick, painless, and straightforward. It’s rare to have to have two root canals at the same time, but he’s a pro and it didn’t faze him.
I’ve also seen several dentists in Chicago and Dr. Davenport is one of the few that I trust and think highly of.

Dr. Davenport did my root canal. It was a complicated situation as it was a re-​treatment of a molar that had been treated previously and failed. My tooth that he worked on is RANK. But he didn’t even flinch. He is fast, professional, has amazing bed side manner, and does beautiful work. I saw my X-​ray after he did my root canal and he did beautiful work. For this kind of skill, I was really pleased at how reasonably priced his work was. Better yet, he provides prescriptions for complications that may occur up front (pain meds and anti-​biotics), in case anything happens that would warrant them. I appreciate that consideration for my time and well-​being.
But seriously, Dr. Davenport isn’t even the star here. His assistant Aisha (sp?) is the superstar. I contemplated sending a Christmas card to her; that is how sweet and great she was. So patient and professional and just straight up affable. Also, didn’t even blink an eye at my RANK ASS tooth even though all three of us KNEW IT WAS RANK AS HELL.
I hope I won’t need another root canal in the near future or ever but yeah, these people will be getting my business FOR SURE if i do! So appreciative and grateful for this team!
If you need a root canal, I would highly recommend having it done here. A lot of general dentists will do it for the same price (or more) but they may not stand by their work and their work may not provide the best long term prognosis for a tooth restoration. I experienced that first hand with my first root canal on my tooth and hate myself for not getting it done RIGHT the first time by Dr. D.
Getting it done here is so worth the peace of mind knowing you’re getting the absolute best care available. Permanent tooth restoration is a damn investment in yourself and your health and you need to rely on success of these restorative procedures for a long ass time. So take the time to go to a specialist who is a damn root canal baller! They are exemplary and i have a little bit of love in my heart for them because of the great work and experience I had. They took such a weight off my shoulders.

Root canal? Ugh, right? Well, I just had one four hours ago and it was far from «ugh.» I did not experience any pain or discomfort during the procedure or any after — I don’t even feel a need for Advil now. Dr. Davenport and the staff at Advanced Endodontics were great. The actual procedure takes about 45 minutes or so during which time there was zero pain or discomfort — none! If you need a root canal, this is the place to go — highly recommend!

I was recently referred by my general dentist to an endodontist for a root canal who was out of my dental network. Luckily, a good friend recommended Dr. Davenport, who was in my network, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! The procedure itself felt no worse than a regular filling. More importantly, I felt ZERO pain the next day!
When I went back to my general dentist to get my crown restored, he was so impressed by Dr. Davenport’s work that he plans on referring him to other patients as well!

I was so afraid to have my first root canal that I had asked them to give me gas. They calmly talked through my concerns with me and convinced me that I may not even need the gas. They said we could see as we go and if it was bad then we could use it. It wasn’t a painful or scary experience at all and I felt so comfortable! It was actually better than getting a filling in my opinion. So grateful I went there!

Another successful and smooth root canal at Advanced Endodontics under the supervision of Dr. Moussa. The entire experience right from the front office, to the pre-​op, to the actual procedure and finally ending with the follow-​up was fantastic!

5 stars are seriously not enough.
I am 7 months pregnant and was referred to Dr. Moussa by my dentist for a root canal. I was absolutely dreading it.
Dr. Moussa gave me very little lidocaine (without epi) and I STILL barely felt anything. Her technique is that incredible. I had some pain a few days after the procedure on a Friday night (my fault since I hadn’t been taking any tylenol whatsoever) and she called me back immediately.
Everyone from the receptionist to the assistant was incredibly friendly and worked with me to get the best price & soonest appointment. Thank you!!!

Fantastic. This is exactly how medical and dental care should be, and as a physician myself, I can appreciate a great experience when I have one. From the online presence, to the informative scheduler, to the staff who checked my insurance benefits in advance and worked with my schedule, even before I arrived, I knew I chose well.
Now it’s time for the Dr. Davenport praise. From the moment he arrived in the room, he put me at ease. He is that special kind of doctor who listens and gives you exactly what you need: information, empathy, skill. He made me feel like my results were his top priority.
The procedure itself: having been my first root canal, I was nervous. It was seamless. Dr. Davenport also talked me through the process, for which I was thankful. «More than halfway done now.» «If you are going to have pain, it will be on Sunday, so call me if it’s worrisome.»
He followed up both by phone and with an email to myself and my dentist. Thank goodness he did, as my dentist’s computer was down at my most recent visit. No problem, I told her, I have my X-​rays on my phone!

Great environment. Dr. Davenport was extremely nice and the procedure was almost painless (needle stick was a little uncomfortable). The procedure was quicker than I thought it would be.

I do not recommend this business at all. Terrible experience. I have had a lot of dental work over the years and have never had a more painful experience due to bad judgment of the Doctor. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I was referred by my dentist to have a complex root canal done on my bridge. It’s a nice and very high tech office. Dr. Milton Davenport III explained all the work and showed me what he would do. It was going to be a long procedure, so Dr. Davenport made sure I was comfortable. Everything went smoothly. There was no pain. He gave me his cell number and a 24 hour office number to call in case there were problems. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They followed the next day to ensure everything was ok. I’d recommend to anyone. I’d give Dr. Davenport III a 10 if I could.

Just had a root canal performed by Dr. Davenport. He and his staff are incredibly professional and personable. The procedure was quick and painless. I would honestly rate it as the best medical experience I have had in my 37 years (dental or otherwise). Everyone there is very positive and they seem to truly enjoy what they are doing. Highly highly recommended.

I have had 2 root canal procedures performed by Dr. Davenport, and both have been painless and handled beautifully! The entire staff is friendly, professional, and the office is very ‘high tech’. One more positive — no waiting! The appointment times are maintained on schedule, and Dr. Davenport devotes his time to you during your procedure, rather than (like most other doctors) rotating among other patients and making you wait longer than necessary. No one likes having a root canal, but this is about as good as it gets!

Unfortunately, I visited Dr. Davenport for a 2^nd time today. Fortunately, he is probably the best Endodontic Dentist in the greater Chicagoland area, if not beyond. Super fast, no pain, great numbing, puts you at ease, funny, friendly staff, beautiful office, great views. I could go on and on. Yes, if you have to have a root canal it’s going to be unpleasant, but dare I say the experience was somewhat enjoyable??? Yes. I actually wish they did General Dentistry so I could go there more often.

I just had my root canal and had a great experience (despite having to have a root canal!). The staff was very friendly and professional, they were upfront about all the costs, and the office has a great atmosphere! Dr. Milton Davenport explained everything that they were going to do so I was comfortable throughout the whole process, and let me know what to expect along the way. I would feel highly recommend him to my close friends, family, and coworkers.

I am writing this review regarding the receptionist. I called, no answer. Then I emailed, got a phone call. Odd, to not have someone answer the phone; but, whatever… I can roll with it.
I had a few questions, but the receptionist just wanted me to schedule. I had to ask several times if it was ok to ask questions because she seemed so rushed and didn’t want to talk to me. Maybe someone didn’t drink enough caffeine or something… but for me, it was rude. When I call a business, it’s because I want to have a few moments to ask questions. Spending 5 minutes with a customer, who is facing a harrowing (an expensive) experience such as a root canal. C’mon lady– be a little patient and answer some questions! Geez! I scheduled NOT!!!

Dare I say a root canal was a walk in the park? Dr. Van was a dream endodontist! I needed an emergency root canal (my first ever) and was in a huge amount of pain and at the same time afraid to go.
Dr. Van made room for me within two hours of my call. She talked with me first and put me completely at ease. I never felt the needle or any of the procedure — I was borderline falling asleep in the chair! As a high anxiety patient this was a huge step for me.
When I left I felt like a million dollars — maybe ten million — and my headaches are gone completely. I’d go back in a heart beat; she is a real find.
