I was very nervous about the chemical peel; however Cathy was extremely informative and educated me about the procedure and other options’ pros and cons. I would highly recommend a chemical peel from Cathy!

Definitely happy with this place and Cathy is fantastic! I’ve had dermaplaning and microdermabrasion done here. You are in safe and capable hands with her. The office is really easy to find off of the brown line (Merchandise Mart). I can’t say that these treatments are something I would do too often, but I will go back again later this year for sure.

After a few failed attempts to book an appointment to use my Living Social deal, I finally made it into Marion Stein for dermaplaning. Basically, the technician took a scalpel and scrapped off a few layers of skin, making my face smooth and silky. It was quick, painless and the results were great. I don’t know if the technician (doctor? nurse?) is licensed or what, so I don’t think I’d go for anything more serious than that. At least not until I’m out of my 20s…

I called because I was interested in Microderm. I spoke with Cathy and she was very informative with what to do with my skin. I appreciated her taking the time to explain the process! She is great at her job and I appreciate her taking the extra time! I’m proud to say the Microderm is a success! I would get it again!

I go to Marion Stein for laser treatments on my bikini area and legs. I’ve been there for five treatments and I love my asthetician Cathy. I see a lot less hair in the areas I’m having treated and I’m really happy with the results. Cathy makes the process pass by quickly and does an excellent job. She’s extremely friendly and knowledgeable on all skin type.

I also got a deal on Living Social for either chemical peel, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning. Cathy was great giving her opinion and honesty what would work great for my skin. I ended up doing the dermaplaning which is just a nice exfoliation with a small tool like brush she uses. My face was so soft and smooth after. It also looked super glowing and fresh. It was a great experience.

I purchased a groupon for this place after teetering around the thought of getting microdermabrasion or a chemical peel. My skin is relatively clear, but does breakout due to stress or hormones. I was looking for just a refreshing way to clear my skin and remove any dead skin cells.
Before I went in, I called and spoke with Cathy on the phone, who took the time to outline the advantages and reason for skin service they have. With being so well informed, I then chose the Chemical peel, as it seemed it would be the most effective for my skin.
When I went in, Cathy did a GREAT job! She made me feel right at home, really explained the process, and was extremely informative on the science behind the chemicals and how they affect the skin.
It has been about half a week and I am in the peeling stage. Already, I hae recieved compliments on my «glowy» skin and the fear I had of a Chemical peel are gone. Illusions that my face would be extremely blotchy and
I hope to have continued success and would recommend Cathy. She is talented and manages her business very well. I have raved to her about my friends and family already. I would go back in an instant.

I’ve had two great experiences with Cathy at the Marion Stein Med Spa. She is the aestician. I had dermaplaning — wonderful! Then photofacial for freckles under my eyes. I’m still waiting for the results of the photofacial — I had it done a few hours ago. Slight pain (eleviated by CVS brand hydracortisone cream) that was gone in an hour. Cathy was great for both procedures. Informative, honest and very communicative. Like having a friend doing the procedures actually — like she’s rooting for immediate results. You can trust her. It’s like having a friend in the business. For those of you who don’t have freckles or age spots I highly recommend dermaplaning on a quarterly basis. It makes all of your skin products work so much more effectively.

I went for laser hair removal and received excellent, quality service at a reasonable price. The technician that performed the laser procedure was very informative, answered all of my questions and concerns, and did not put any pressure on me like other businesses did when I was doing my research. She took her time to explain the procedure, what to expect afterward, and has an excellent bedside manner. The rates are quite competitive and I like the fact that they accept credit cards. Another plus is that the Medical Spa offers week-​end appointments. Parking availability is a plus as there is plenty of street parking and also a parking lot a block away.
The Spa offers a variety of services and procedures and I like the fact that it is done in a medical office with a Spa-​like feel.
