There’s a Louis C.K. bit about people doing the *bleep* out of their job. I believe Arturo, an Apartment Source Chicago rep, fits that exact bill. He does the ever livin’ *bleep* out of his job. Boy oh boy. I am forever grateful to this man and his exemplary service during an incredibly stressful and tough time. Through his encouragement and good faith I was able to find a place that suited my needs both in a timely and financial manner. I hereby give this man all the accolade I can possibly muster. I contacted John when I was looking for an apartment in June. My husband and I loved our Lakeview one bedroom apartment but craved something little bit more modern with more space for our two dogs. John understood our needs and showed us the exact places we were looking for. We did not spend hours seeing apartments that we did not want. He only took us to places that met our requirements. We ended up picking the second place that he showed us. John was was not only friendly and professional, he also cared about us– even after we moved in. He checks up on his clients after they have moved in to see if he can be any help. Very personable agent to work with.

Our realtor was Genelle Banks and we were in a tight spot needing to get into a new place right away. My boyfriend and I have used similar services like this and this was the best experience we’ve had. Genelle went above and beyond for us over and over to get us into a place we wanted. She didn’t tell us to raise our price range or to settle like many other companies we have used.
We don’t own a car and as bumps came about during applying for a place she was very accommodating going as far as picking me up at my home and taking me to the bank and arranging for other agents to meet me for picking up paper work when she couldn’t. She also worked with the management company to keep an in demand apartment on hold while we found a co-​signer. She basically saved the day!!! Thanks Genelle!

John Obrien amazing! He is very personable and informative. He was always reachable and responded right away to all emails and requests regarding apartment showings, information, and any random other inquiries I had. He even went out if his way to help me go in and measure dimensions of my apartment after I had already signed the lease with the owners, when they were unavailable. Highly recommend him!

Patrick Markey was great and super helpful. He could tell exactly what I wanted and was looking for and didn’t waste my time showing me things he thought I wouldn’t want to see or would’ve been off the market before I could apply. The company was phenomenal as well, never making me run through more hoops then needed to get where I needed to be and on my way to a new apartment.

Genelle went above and beyond every time I had an inquiry about potential rentals in a neighborhood, specifics about a particular unit, etc. She was also extremely accommodating with her schedule as mine was very sporadic. She make the search much more bearable!

This place made signing our lease go so smoothly! Tyson was awesome– he took care of everything for us and was very prompt at getting back with us about paperwork. They took care of everything so that all we had to do was sign the papers. Great communication and customer service! I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for an apartment in the area.

Wednesday I called about an apartment I saw on an apartment rental search site and set up an appointment to see the apartment on Friday. The agent said he’d be giving me a call to confirm the day of and give me the exact address. Friday 5’o clock rolls around (the showing was scheduled for 6). I hadn’t received any call from the agent so I called. I was literally transferred 6 times to 6 different agents who didn’t know what I was talking about and quickly said ‘hold on’ and transferred me AGAIN. I finally got someone who actually talked to me and he re-​set me up to see the apartment-​same time. He says you’ll receive a call from the agent who will meet you at the apartment shortly.
No one ever called.

we contacted these people from a Craigslist posting. no one was timely in communicating back to us. when I finally called the office and actually spoke to someone, the property had been rented 3 days prior, but one of the agents had re-​listed it just that morning. these agents need to get their listings right and actually call potential clients back. terrible service.
