The business practices of this dentist are highly suspect. When my husband called to make an appointment(with a heavy Latino accent) he was told the dentist was no longer accepting patients although we were already registered with him. I called back with no accent and was able to make an appointment. I had to call the insurance company to mediate. When we finally got in for appointments, the hygienist insisted on a $ 1200 «deep cleaning» for each of us before they would do a normal cleaning or any other procedure. She spent 20 minutes hard selling the procedure with videos. I was skeptical as I had only encountered this«deep cleaning» suggestion once before — the only other singular year I was on an HMO rather than PPO. I went to my former dentist for a second opinion and he told me the procedure was far too invasive and unnecessary. Beware.
