I’ve lived a little less than a block from this place for over 2 years. I recently moved even closer to it. I feel compelled to write this review because were Logan Liquors not ridiculously over-priced, it would be my only stop for all my booze needs. My hope is that someone else buys this spot and starts charging reasonable prices for their products. I would rather walk a couple blocks to Red Star where I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of.

The location of this place is the only plus. Everything is overpriced, especially mid-higher end liquor. If you walk a couple blocks northwest on Milwaukee, Red Star is much better.

Overpriced everything, with a weak selection. The only redeeming quality is the funny Indian guys who are almost always eating and watching TV behind the counter. They can be nice, but they give off the vibe like they couldn’t care less if people shop there or not. I’d take my money to Isaac and Vic at the Red Star down the street.

A classic neighborhood corner store. Not as many different beers as a true liquor store might have, but a solid selection that got me through the winter without getting bored. Good wines, champagne, and liquors that you don’t always see in the grocery store, yummy snacks for late night munchies, and really chill clerks who always remember me and who have great taste in entertainment(yeay Bollywood!). It might look sketchy from the outside, but it’s really not. They take credit cards and change up their beers with the season. If you can’t find what you want, ask them about it, they might have it in the back. :)

What are these hipsters whining about? Logan Liquors offers a small variety of everything you could forget to buy on your way home. Maybe I’m biased because the store is at the end of my block(and you know I’m not going to scrape my car on an icy February night when I can walk down the street for popcorn and wine), but the owners/employees are truly nice and they will remember your face. If I could suggest anything, it would be to sell more produce; I’d love to see them push what they have into a full-fledged corner market. Every friend of mine who’s gone in there has been surprised by the beer selection in this unsuspecting neighborhood store. While this place does have a decent monopoly on alcohol in the ‘hood, personally, I don’t mind paying an extra dollar for Bell’s or Fat Tire. Operating as a true Mom and Pop store, I really hope the new Walgreen’s doesn’t acquire a liquor license and run them out any time soon. How boring would that be? Wahoo, Miller Lite for all!

It’s a liquor store. It’s by the blue line. It has beer and wine and booze. Things that I like. It’s not the best beer selection, but there are enough options for anyone that’s not a super beer snob. The wine selection is eh, but I am kind of a wine snob. I’ll drink some Yellow Tail if forced though — it’s alright. Anywho, we all know that the Square lacks a truly good liquor store, but Logan Liquors helps me get my drink on when I need to get my drink on. That’s all I ask from a corner liquor store. I usually head to World Market or Binny’s or the really expensive wine store on California when I’m feeling like a snob…

It’s a liquor store and it’s three blocks from my house. It has a decent selection of beer(not just bud and miller), mixers and effen vodka, which is all I need. I probably wouldn’t go here to buy a nice bottle of wine. I wish they had more snacks, but it’s a liquor store – not a snack shop. It’s kinda dirty and the people inside are a tad creepy, but I think that’s true of almost all liquor stores.

The only liquor store that really, really checks my ID. Like, actually glances back and forth from me to my picture to make sure it’s me on the plastic. Always an odd experience. Decent selection, standard prices. I’m not feeling the empty cardboard boxes they’ve put on the floor in response to the snow, though.

Oh Logan Liquors — perhaps your selection of beer isn’t particularly dynamite, and you did raise your prices recently, which was kind of a drag, and you don’t really close at any specific time, but really just whenever the guys who are working feel like it. But, you started selling Dunhills, you were one of the first places in the neighborhood to get Bell’s back when they started selling in Chicago again, and the guys that work the counter are always watching an awesome Bollywood movie that makes me stop and watch for a few minutes. I once witnessed a chase scene in which a man was riding a horse and was being followed by another man, who was in an automobile. To escape, the man and horse slid under a truck while his pursuer collided with the same truck and exploded. Classic. Logan Liquors, you aren’t the best, but by God, you’re in the neighborhood, which counts for something. And you’re way better than J.J. Ripoffs right up the street. Screw those guys.

This place is really dirty and crappy, the employees are ok though. Check any food here to see if its expired, also don’t buy any candy here in the summer, as its probably melted. Suprisingly this place has decent selection of liquor and wine. Beer is not insanely overpriced, so thats a plus. Soft drink selection is kind of pitiful too. But its the neighborhood liquor store… you pretty much have no other options for now. If you want more food selection, or just beer and you can walk a block, Red Star convenient store is a bit nicer. On the other had Logan Liquors has more liquor and wine. Location is everything with these types of places and logan has a pretty good one. if only they would fix it up.

okay place for a small liquor store. always some interesting bollywood playing on the tv. had shiner, which was surprising. Wine is overpriced, but the cheap beer is cheap.

I have to agree that his place is over priced, and the selection is only average. I’d like a better store, but I can’t resist the convenience.
