Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s my passion. I capture emotions, memories, stories, your love and the small aspects that make it special. Love is in the details.

History

Established in 2009.

I have had a life long passion for photography and design. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Miami University, I started my business, Spoon Photo & Design, in 2009. I’m based out of Chicago, but photograph weddings all over the Midwest.

With my degree, I’ve also been able to offer a multitude of custom print designs along with my photography.

My name is Michelle Greenspoon. I can’t remember a time I haven’t had a camera. Along the way, my quirky, girly, hopelessly-​romantic self, fell in love with capturing love. I started my own business in 2009 and have since spent my days photographing people who love each other; engagements, weddings, children, and families.

I love giant panda bears. Ok, not just love, I’m obsessed.

I’m a sucker for warm chocolate chip cookies.

I hate running so I bought pink running shoes.

I still hate running.

If I got stuck on an island with only one object, it’d be a boat. Then I could come and go as I please.

Traveling is the world’s encyclopedia.

Sushi is a food group,

And fresh flowers are the best fragrance.
