Hours are great! This store has booze at prices that rival Jewel. If that isn’t enough, it’s clean, well lit, and has a friendly staff.

Solid little mom and pop corner store in an up and coming section of Chicago. Portage Park used to be called Polack Park when I lived in Rogers Park, but then again we called Rogers Park Robbers Park, cuz I got mugged 3 times in one summer! Jokes on them, I only had my sunglasses! HA! What was I saying? Yes, they have the staples that make this a legit corner store, 25c oatmeal raisin, jerky, but they also have a ton of craft beers and other goods that I can’t even tell you about, you just need to see them. There seems to be a trend, when a company updates its inside and outside look, it seems to get better. I swear I was here about 4 weeks ago, and the sign wasn’t working, and the place looked kind of dingy, but now? Man! Looks awesome! I think its all the new lighting inside, looks real clean now. Plus they’re open 20 hrs a day for whenever you feel like getting some convenience items late night. I also like their address, 4321 Milwaukee? Sounds like the lyrics of a song from the 30’s that you would listen to and do the Charleston.

I needed some milk, super quick, and having just moved to the ‘hood, wasn’t sure where to go. Randee’s is right on the corner. Since Mike’s Pantry seems to keep banker’s hours, I headed over and got my gallon of milk along with a nice smile from the guy behind the counter.
