Ivy Nails

This dive is now called Love Nails. I can’t say enough bad things about this place. I only tried it because my aunt always goes here. They cut up all my fingers. I will have to go get a blood test now because this place doesn’t look sanitary. Its so old inside and the nail techs are so rude. They will do the opposite of everything you say. My first time, I asked for flowers painted and they just put 4 dots and charged me $ 10. I only returned a second time because they were so apologetic. My second time here, the girl wanted to tell me it was $ 10 extra to get French on my ring fingers and thumbs. She considered that a design. Yet, to do French on all ten fingers she wanted to charge me only $ 5. I ended up paying $ 45 for a fill in. I didn’t get a pedicure because I was so mad. To top it off, if you complain about the prices, their rude loyal clientele will attack you. Lots of trailer trash and Humboldt Park trash that have moved on up to Jefferson Park go inside this salon. The nail techs laughed when one of their trashy clients attacked me instead of defending me because I was spending a lot more than this lady was spending with her normal manicure.

This place deserves 0 stars. I came in and sat in the pedicure chair for over an hour. Then they brought in people that were walk ins and started working on them before me. If you want crappy service and a terrible, eye-​gauging atmosphere, this is the place for you.
