I am an energetic and passionate instructor who motivates my clients to challenge their bodies while having fun. I work with individuals who want to live a healthy and active lifestyle, «work» hard and learn. Through Pilates and the GYROTONIC® method of exercise I can help you achieve your fitness goals, whether those goals are to rehabilitate from an injury, create a tone body, increase flexibility and joint mobility, or for general well-being and happiness. These two techniques focus on moving from your «center» (aka your core), simultaneously stretching and strengthening muscle and soft tissue, increasing body awareness and best of all they bring JOY to working out and moving your body!
All sessions take place within Spring Wellness Pilates Studio. For the Gyrotonic method, private sessions are available. Pilates sessions are available as a private, duet and/or group classes.

History
Established in 2009.
Nicole Baltes began teaching Pilates private sessions and group classes in Manhattan in 2009. In August of 2012, she relocated to Chicago. She has expanded her training and now also teaches the GYROTONIC® method of exercise in addition to Pilates. All sessions with Nicole take place within the beautiful Lakeview studio, Spring Wellness Pilates. Contact Nicole directly for scheduling.

As a former professional dancer, Nicole Baltes began her Pilates journey 15 years ago as a way to rehabilitate from injuries and to keep her body moving and dancing. She has over 20 years of training in multiple styles of dance as well as a decade of teaching jazz dance. Nicole received her Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Core Pilates NYC in 2009. She has also been practicing the GYROTONIC® method of exercise since 2010 and became a certified GYROTONIC® instructor in early 2013. Nicole is so excited to share this amazing system with everyone. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve their personal fitness goals, learn more about their bodies and leave their sessions feeling stronger, energized and taller!
