Master Handymen is a licensed and fully insured general contractor. We carry $ 1 million in general liability as well as providing worker’s compensation insurance for all of our technicians.

History

Established in 2004.

Gino started Master Handymen as a one-​man operation in 2004. Prior to that, Gino began his career as a handyman by making repairs on his parent’s 3-​flat as a teenager. As an adult he worked in maintenance and repairs in various large apartment complexes and a lakefront high rises while honing his craft.

As his expertise grew, Gino began remodeling his own investment condos, houses and two-​flats as well as handling repair and remodel work for friends and associates. Soon a group of like-​minded individuals (each with their own backgrounds and specialties) joined forces with Gino — and Master Handymen was born!

Over the next few years, Gino’s little one-​man operation has grown in to a thriving business. Gino employs over a dozen full-​time technicians and office staff. He also partners with numerous sub-​contractors and licensed tradesmen all of whom are committed to providing excellent quality and top-​notch service at a fair price.

Business Owner

I was born in Romania and immigrated to Chicago when I was 8 years old. I became a U.S. citizen at 13. I still live in the Lincoln Square 3-​flat in which I grew up. I started Master Handymen in 2004 with little more than a tool-​belt and a truck and with no idea how long I could stay in business.

My only goal is to provide general contracting and handyman services of high quality and at a fair price. I treat all of my customers as I would treat my family and friends. I will do whatever I possibly can to complete your project on time and on-​budget. I will not always be the cheapest option but I take pride in the fact that the people in my employ will provide the utmost in quality and professionalism.

I was raised to believe my word is my bond. I will always tell the truth and give every reasonable option to keep the costs down. On occasion, mistakes are made and I will do whatever it takes to make things right. My work is always guaranteed.
