G&R photography is a small boutique style studio that specializes in wedding photography for the discriminating bride. First established in 1991, G&R photography and its owner Ruben Burgos have shoot hundreds of weddings through out the U.S. and Mexico.

I take a journalistic approach to photography; capturing images as they happen and in the moment. I know that being in front of the camera is not easy or natural so I excel at creating an atmosphere that make my clients feel comfortable and look great.

Business Owner

I studied photography at Columbia College in Chicago. My first job in photography was with a commercial studio that produced catalog photography. From there I shoot for a company that produced year books for local high school. It was during that period, 1985, that I started freelancing on Saturdays for a local big box studio that specialized in wedding photography. Once I shoot my first wedding I was hooked. I loved everything about wedding photography. The fast pace and excitement was infectious. I stayed with them till 1991 when I opened my own place, G&R Photography; and as it is said, the rest is history.
