This is by far the best threading salon in the loop. I’ve been to a few places that have left my brows looking unsightly, but I always leave with a smile and fantastic brows thanks to Michelle! They have remodeled the store and it looks great, and an eyebrow thread is only $ 10 which is a steal compared to the $ 20-​$ 25 price tag at many waxing places. They are very quick and efficient, but do an excellent job.

DO NOT COME HERE.
I have had my eyebrows threaded over 100x. This is the FIRST time that I have had small NICKS AND CUTS all around my eyebrows. OUCH.
There are MANY places around downtown Chicago that do a fine job. Go to one of them unless you’re going for the scabbed eyebrow look.

I initially knew about this place because they use to be by Ogilvy transportation center. I love Naz! She’s the only one I trust with my eyebrows. She actually has her own business on 203 S State St. now.
Anyways, the quality here is not consistent. I’ve gotten my skin ripped off from threading here, when I requested to NOT thread the tips of my brows they didn’t listen and threaded the hair I was trying to grow on my tips, and my skin always gets irritated by their threaders because they thread so hard.
I recommend not coming here, I recommend Naz over by state st right by the foot locker.

Liars liars liars!!! Everyone Naz is right around the corner on Adams and state! I used to come here twice a month for services with Naz! They got jealous of her clients and made her leave! They told me that she’s out the country! They’ve told me that she was just gone. WRONG! She’s right around the corner. I hate shady business practices. I came here since they opened and referred sooo many people because of Naz but they are liars! Never will I return! Why should I? There best threader is right around the corner!

Great place to get your eyebrows threaded in the downtown area. Michelle is the best and she always amazes me when she discovers the natural arch in my eyebrows. Friendly and quick service. This is my go-​to threading place and they sell perfume at great prices. What could be better?

I have been going here for 2 years. This place is the best tammy is doing my eyebrows been two years I will say tammy is the best she does Excellent job with great experience .I highly recommend her

Went in today for the first time — without an appointment — and was seen immediately by Helen. She did a wonderful job and even offered to fill in my brows after which was a nice touch. The place was clean and friendly and I will be back in a few weeks time. They also give out punch cards which is great since my eyebrows tend to grow very quickly. Thanks Helen!

I have been going here for about a year now. I tried a couple of the other artists here but Kristina is the best! She is detailed and very nice. I have no complaints about her.

It’s sad to think that the quality of a place can drop so drastically in a matter of 5 short months. When I first started coming to get my eyebrows done here I was in love with this place but the honeymoon phase is definitely over.
As I mentioned in my previous review I am particular about my eyebrows mainly due to many years of getting them waxed. I’ve been trying to get them back to the awesomeness that they once were. I only have two requests from any aesthetician that I meet: try to keep my eyebrows thick and do not take any hair from the tips of my brows. It’s a simple request because many aestheticans have done it successfully.
I am unsure what Zora who did my eyebrows was thinking but she completely did the opposite of what I requested. She slaughtered my eyebrows and didn’t even bat an eye when I reiterated my initial request while informing her that she did the complete opposite. Designer Perfume has gone through a lot of renovations and I’m a fan of how it turned out. While in the process of updating their look they must’ve dropped the skilled aestheticans that I encountered in the early months of coming here.
I loved this place for the convenient location but I will not step foot into this place again. This isn’t the first time they messed up my eyebrows but in an effort to give them a second chance I came back and got the same result. I would suggest going to another place because having a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ percent chance of getting good results is not worth it.

Great job!!! I was nervous at first but I decided to go because of the $ 2 off Unilocal deal. My eyebrows ended up well shaped and they took there time! I will be back.

I just came from there went to Macy’s makeup counter in good light and she took off the base of my left eyebrow as well as leaving them completely uneven! Don’t go here. What she did in 5 min will take me months to grow back

My regular threading place is closed Sunday and Monday, so I desperately searched for a new place. This salon is located in the Loop, so $ 10 for eyebrow threading is inexpensive. I received my service from Nas. She was clean and efficient (in and out under ten minutes). However, parking is a pain so I’ll stick to my regular threading salon. I really appreciate the loyalty card (free threading on 9^th service). I would recommend this place especially if you live in the Loop. Otherwise, you can find a better value elsewhere.

Completely butchered my brows. They are now thin lines and I am so completely heart broken. She said my brows didn’t have an arch so she was trying to give me one. I was in such shock I paid full price and even tipped… So upset.

I absolutely love going to this place! I am so glad that I found a threading salon in downtown. But I suggest everyone to go see Tammy when you visit this place. This girl does an EXCELLENT job with threading. My eyebrows were completely out of shape and she has done an Awesome job fixing them! I HIGHLY recommend her.

Tammy is a poor excuse me of an «aesthetician» or whatever she may call herself. This is the second time I let her do my eyebrows (because I thought her lack of attention the first time was just an off color day for her) but no, the woman couldn’t care less what I said. I’ve been getting my eyebrows done for over 15 years and she has to the most inattentive and uninterested person wielding a thread. Oh and she is also the rudest person I’ve ever met. When I gave her feedback, she told me to «have manners». Her work sucks but her attitude is no better.
The guy at the counter was nice but she clearly doesn’t care.

Flawless eyebrows for $ 10. Full face threading for $ 30. Practically Devon street prices but located downtown. Long, convenient hours– open until 7pm (6pm on Sundays). Best place in Chicago to get threading.

Totally lucked up on this place! I’ve passed by it before on my lunch break but never thought or needed to stop in. After all, I can’t let just anybody thread my eyebrows… I can share a horror story about that! They close at 8pm and I got off work at 7:50 with a flight to catch in the morning. Basically, I was in a pinch to get my eyebrows looking decent, so I hustled over and arrived with 5 minutes to spare. They were already vacuuming and preparing to close, but as soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly, without judgment for my tardiness. The lady (didn’t catch her name) sat me down and got started. She used powder on my brows, I guess to better see the lines. I had never had that before, but she informed me in advance so I rolled with it. She communicated what she was going to do before doing it, which I certainly appreciated. A few quick minutes later she was done! She offered me lotion or gel and just like that my eyebrows had been revived. It was only $ 10 and took maybe 5 minutes.
On my walk over, I had searched on Unilocal for the closest threading place and it prompted me that with a check in I would receive $ 2 off. So I did of course and only paid $ 8 for my gorgeous brows. I can’t complain at all. I’ll probably add it to my mix of brow locations. My regular spot is fantastic though ($ 15), but this adds convenience being next to the job and it’s super cheap. I can’t say it’s better than my regular spot because they fill in my brows afterwards. Perhaps this place would too if I asked or didn’t show up at closing time! But until I know that for sure, it’ll be a super solid 4 stars.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 year’s now and love it. $ 10 bucks in the middle of downtown Chicago you can no go wrong. I personally love Naz she’s amazing and such a sweet person. If it’s not Naz doing my brows I won’t let anyone else touch them!
