Convenient place in the Loop for hair and beauty supplies. They have great sale items. I stopped in on a jog and was in and out in 5 minutes. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable.

I’ve come here a few times before and it’s always been decent service. Today I went in with an email stating a special sale on hair dye. I was told they were unable to honor it as they have not received any info from corporate. However both staff were incredibly rude about it to the point where I don’t know if I’ll return.

I was so nervous. Im dyeing my hair for the first time and needed to buy a lot of product to make that happen(bleach, developer, toner, etc). I’d done research and knew some of what I needed but hoped someone at Sally’s would be knowledgeable… then I met Celine(no name tag so I might be misspelling). She told me exactly what to get, exactly what I needed and explained why. She made me feel very confident about my purchases and was very helpful without any pushiness. Everyone provided great service. I usually go to a mom and pop beauty supply(as a black woman living downtown, that’s Cosmo just down the street), but now I know when I need excellent service, to run(not walk) to Sally’s. Thanks Celiene!!! PS. The hair turned out AMAZING, she was right on the money!

Happened upon the store while walking about — never knew it was there. It is well organized — staff is great and selection very good. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

as always, the staff is the upmost unprofessional. I feel as if the manager hires her friends rather than qualified applicants because their all ditzy young girls who know nothing about the products on their shelves. one time I asked to see the clippers with metal guards and she looks at the shelf and says«is that a brand?» I said«never mind, I’ll just look online». Today, their most have been like four girls on staff. I know for sure one or two of them where eating lunch in their dirty stock room while a line piles in the front and know one at the two cash registers. One women justifiably angry says«hello, is any of you gonna ever come up here??» and the girl says in a rude tone of voice«yes mam. like, I was helping a customer you know! ugh». this unprofessionalism is consistant at all of them. the goofiest experience was at another location where the girl stops ringing me out mid way through to run to the door and get a delivery she ordered. she asked her co worker to finish ringing me up. that was ghetto!!!

Your typical Sallys ie: small but convenient with things ranging to inexpensive to moderate in price. As one reviewer stated, you really find yourself squeezing past other customers because the aisles are so tiny, but they tend to be well stocked, and the sales associates ask you if you need assistance but aren’t pushy and constantly in your face which I appreciated. I also called before I came to make sure they had a specific product in stock. They did but there was only 1 left. I asked if they would hold it for me and told them I would pick it up within’ 2 hours and they were more than happy to do that for me.

Sally, oh Sally… thank you for being here in the loop! This store has MOST of what I need, i. e, nail and hair stuff. The polish choices are limited and the store is so small that you really have to squeeze past people in the aisles, but prices are reasonable and the staff in most cases are nice. Perfect for short lunch time errands, and closer and cheaper than Sephora or Ulta.

I come here to buy semi-pro nail products I can’t find at Sephora or Ulta. I’m usually fairly successful and often leave with more than what I’ve intended to buy. I’m a member of their rewards program and routinely get 15% off coupons to use all the following month, which is a good deal, on top of the reduced prices for beauty club members. I do wish they could carry more polishes closer to their release dates, especially when they’re exclusive to Sally. I dislike going in even two or three weeks after a polish release and I don’t see any new polishes, or empty displays. Also, I haven’t found an employee there who likes or specializes in nails, so that can’t help. I did go in there once looking for some hair products and was assisted by someone who really knew her stuff, so that was cool. I will continue going in for my special nail product needs. Hopefully they will be more on the ball the more often I ask about new products.

I have to say I was not impressed with the people that work there they were not helpful when it came to asking questions about the products… however for a small place they have a nice selection of products.

this is a decently sized Sally, conveniently located right in the loop. they sell all your basic beauty supplies, and some more advanced items for professionals. the prices are very good and the selection for most items is great. they also offer a lot of things in bulk, which is really awesome and saves tons of money. join the Beauty Club to save even more!
