I purchased this 40 $ package on living social and was leery about chemical peels to begin with but after speaking to a girl there who gave me so much details, which the internet confirmed! I decided to give it a shot and not just give away as a gift. I did not see any results the first few days but by day 4 I had a handful of compliments…
The reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is the girl that did the peel was trying to talk me into laser hair removal, of course I set up an appt because I hate to say no but I think I’m going to just stick to the chemical peels for now. I will recommend this place any chance I get!!!

The only reason I marked one star is because I have to mark something. I got a «deal» on livingsocial — $ 40 for one 45 minute chemical peel. I have had peels in the past. I was expecting maybe a facial cleansing, at the very least a headband to hold my hair back. The place was in the back of an eyebrow threading salon. It felt like a covert operation, I may as well have been ushered into an alley way behind a gas station. The girl was very nice but I literally spent about ten minutes with her. Their website says that the procedure would take about 45 minutes and that’s how much time I set aside so I had to walk around with a greasy moisturizer on my face until my ride came. The next morning, my face was just dry with no other visible signs of anything else possibly happening. She did say I should expect different results in about a week but I’m not holding my breath. I suppose the brand of skincare products they use is also pretty unreliable, not to mention overpriced (PCA). Additionally, I had called before purchasing the deal to see just what sort of peel they might use and did extensive research. I paid $ 40, which is actually a decent amount of money for me, but if I had paid $ 85 for it (the regular price) I would be irate. As it is, I’m a little angry — I had been really looking forward to it and now I feel, honestly, duped. I’m better off purchasing the chemical over the internet for $ 20 and applying it myself, especially since there was no other care involved — I feel like she barely even looked at my skin. A $ 20 bottle on the internet (not from the same company) will last me a whole year. Now that I’ve written this, I think I will take further action to get my money back. Pretty angry overall.

I’ve written a review before (but it’s filtered at the bottom). I’m writing another one to follow up on the previous one, Laser treatments are still going great! I’m almost done with my sessions and since I’m seeing great results, I plan to get other services as well. They started doing chemical peels now which work great! My skin has cleared up so well and my overall skin tone has improved. (I struggle with acne and sun damage). Michelle does customized peels for my specific skin conditions and the results are better than I expected. It’s nice to see that the doctor comes in to meet the clients and answer questions. My previous laser place claimed they had an MD but I never once saw him! And it’s always comforting to know that my technician Michelle is ALWAYS the one doing my treatments. There’s never a random new tech when I walk in. I recommend my friends to come here too. even as time passes, this place still has great professionalism!

Excellent location. My wife went here for laser hair removal, and she was beyond impressed. We are actually both physicians, and we were pleased to see that her evaluation was done by a real M. D as opposed to almost every other place here in the city where someone with little to no actual medical training is the one seeing you beforehand and determining what type of treatments are appropriate. Her experience with the actual procedure was also very positive, the esthetician was very nice and professional too her. I observed the treatment room to be very clean and well maintained, something that was important to me. Ultimately, the proof is in the pudding, and in terms of actual hair removal the treatment worked flawlessly. She had tried some other place in the past, american laser or something, and never got the results she wanted. I don’t really know anything about lasers, but apparently dermalight uses the newest and best laser out there, which is why I’m guessing her treatment worked so much better. We highly recommend this place.
