My husband and I have been going to Dr. George since 1988 and will not change. He works with each patient as an individual, not a stereotype patient. His work is excellent as is the work of his staff. If there are any billing or insurance questions that arise over time a phone call is all it takes to get it straightened out.
We have recently moved to Florida and still go back to Chicago at least twice a year and include an appointment with Dr. George. He never recommends unnecessary procedures to try to drive up bills which I see in many Florida practices.

I have been a patient of Dr. George’s for about 5 years now and he is a good Dentist. Very professional, polite and definitely knows his stuff. Lisa, my usual Dental Hygienist is awesome, my teeth are squeaky clean and I love seeing her.
My issue with this practice and why I am can no longer recommend or will be a patient with them is due to Viivan Wandrey, the Office Manager. I have moved a lot over the past few years, like a lot of Chicagoan’s do and yes, our address changes often (not that unusual) My insurance pays for most of my teeth cleaning costs, x-​rays, etc… and I usually have to pay just $ 18 out of pocket.
I recently received a letter from Vivian stating «that after numerous efforts on their part over the past several months have failed to stimulate any response from you regarding your overdue bill. Our accountant insists that we submit all accounts over 90 days old. This action usually means the account will be turned over to Retail Credit Bureau and to a collection agency.»
Yes, my balance is $ 18 and yes, I pay my balance when I go in for my next appointment or I can give you a credit card over the phone, not a problem. I have even offered to pay the $ 18 in advance when I am there and she tells me that is not necessary!
It’s such a shame that they treat their patients this poorly over an $ 18 balance when I have updated my address, email and phone number and I’ve never even received an email, phone call or letter prior to this.
Ridiculous.

I would highly recommend Dr. George to anyone. Especially, if they are uneasy going to the dentist. Dr. George has a great bedside manor, very honest, gentle and only recommends the necessary procedures. His staff his also very friendly and as dentist appointments go, it’s always a pleasure to go. The location is great too, it’s easy to pick up a coffee or lunch before or after my visit downstairs.

Dr. Dennis J George is absolutely fantastic. I’m only 20 but had extremely week teeth that kept on chipping. Dr. George put venires on my front four upper teeth and I could not be any happier with how they turned out. The venires completely surpassed all of my expectations – they’re realistic and so beautiful. Dr. George and the entire staff are also unbelievably kind. Going to the dentist can be extremely nerve-​wracking, but the people here make it a nice and calm experience. I would highly recommend Dr. George to anyone looking for a dentist!

I cannot speak more highly of Dr Dennis George and his practice. Dr George has been our family dentist since 1977 after being recommended by the Executive Director (who was a dentist himself) of the American Dental Association.
Dr George is very caring, considerate and has a conservative approach to dentistry. You simply can’t do better in my opinion.

I love Dr. George. He is not someone that recommends unnecessary procedures. He’s easy-​going and friendly. He has nice people working with him that have worked with him for years… good guy, good dentist, good experience.

Dr. George is great! His office staff is friendly and professional, and I never get stuck in the waiting room for any length of time. My only complaint would be that it’s a little pricey… esp. when you combine a trip to the dentist with Water Tower shopping… but heck, they’re my teeth, and they’re worth it!

Sherry (sp?) — one of Dr. George’s hygienists– is completely awesome. She actually ground away at cement that was left on my teeth from when I had braces in high school! She totally didn’t have to do that — talk about being thorough! Dr. George’s has been in the business a long time, and I know I’m in good hands.
The office is clean, the people are nice, the service is EXCELLENT. Dr. George is more expensive than the place I went, but IT’S 100% WORTH THE PRICE.
