Dr. Chin is the real deal. Getting my wisdom teeth pulled out was painless and easy. Except for the next day Lol. His office was very good in answering my insurance questions and follow up on my appointments. Keep up the good work!

Dr. Chin’s office was able to get me in for a next-​day wisdom tooth extraction. A previous reviewer complained about the front desk staff but if there were problems, they’ve been fixed. The woman who received me today was absolutely kind and helpful. Given that dental surgery is quite expensive, she even noticed that my regular medical insurance may cover a portion and will bill them first and then follow up with my dental insurance for the balance. Regarding the procedure, although they offer to put you under, I went with gas plus local anesthesia (and brought headphones to wear to play music from my iPhone). It was fine. I didn’t feel a thing and it wasn’t scary. He was able to extract both wisdom teeth – upper and lower – in about 15 minutes. Amazing! I would refer any friend to Dr. Chin without a second thought, and will be going to see him in the new year for the two wisdom teeth on the other side too. The office is difficult to find if you don’t know where you’re going, so be sure to call ahead and get the office to explain which entrance and elevators to take.

I am terrified of dentists and anything related to dentistry due to many traumatic experiences as a child. I relayed this to Dr. Chin at our initial meeting and he said he could put me under for my wisdom teeth surgery so I wouldn’t have to experience anything during the surgery. I was given clear instructions before the surgery– don’t eat or drink after midnight, loose clothing on arms, etc. The day of the surgery came and I was brought in to the room. They started my IV and Dr. Chin chatted with me. Next thing I knew I was waking up and it was over.
I was wheeled out to my friend’s car and was sent home with specific instructions to prevent dry socket, etc. They also gave me an awesome first aid kit with tons of things in it! I iced my jaw and took my meds and by the next day I felt fine– just a bit sore.
Dr. Chin even called me Sunday to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. It’s been 4 days later and I’m eating regular food and living my normal life. I’ll have my stitches out Friday and then I’m good to go!
I highly recommend him– he explains everything clearly and did a great job on me. It was a fairly painless experience!

I had my wisdom teeth removed and had nerve damage where it left me with a numb tongue and the inside of my mouth in constant pain and discomfort and I paid for this present almost 3000. As far as I know I will have to deal with this for rest of my life. The doctor mentioned about the possibility, but he expressed it in such a light manner that this almost never happens and i trusted him completely. I am regretting to have my wisdom teeth pulled overall and I found out later it wasn’t necessary to pull them after all. I don’t know if I was just unlucky and he is a decent doctor, but I could have appreciated more warning and a suggestion of maybe not pulling the tooth that was on the nerve. I have learned my expensive and painful lesson to do the research about procedure and doesn’t matter what the doctor says– weigh your risks. To the doctor you are only Nth patient and to you it can be a life time injury.

I had my wisdom teeth out here, it went very well! Dr. Chin was friendly and I had almost zero pain after, everything went perfectly.
However, it’s the imbeciles that run his office that deserve the two star rating. It’s been over 2.5 years since my visit and I am still receiving errant bills from them every 6 to 13 months. Each time I have to deal with the ridiculously unorganized office staff who become rude and forgetful. It takes a few calls each time back and forth until they say to disregard the bill and I have a zero balance. Yet, the errant bills still come. I wish the competence of the staff was just as high as Dr. Chin himself.
If you want great dental work but to be annoyed and lightly harassed sporadically by errant bills for the rest of your life, this is your place!

Dr. Chin is awesome! Three teeth pulled and five implants! The only thing that hurt was my wallet-​but what an amazing doctor. I was so nervous about this, but it turned out to be a non-​event. I didn’t even have a bruise, swelling or need pain meds. He and his staff are extremely professional, he even called the day after to make sure all was well. I would recommend him highly.

Friendly, professional, and consistent to a fault. This sums up any experience at Dr. Chin’s office. Not only did the office call me the next day after my «Extraction and Implant procedure»… Dr. Chin, himself, called as well. This is going above and beyond the expected. Dr. Chin genuinely cares and maintains an open communication at all times. Most importantly, my procedure was without pain and it healed perfectly. Thank you!

Dr. Chin saved a tooth that would have been replaced by expensive and time-​consuming bridgework. The staff is very professional and accomodating.

I got in for the surgery the day after my consult, which was awesome! he surgery went very well, with a minimum of bruising/​swelling/​bleeding. I received an after-​care bag of gauze pads and a cold pack, along with instructions on how to treat my lip for the following days after surgery. At one point I called with a question about my pain meds and I got an answer on that same phone call.
I also apparently have the random skill of removing my own stitches. Cool.
My follow-​up appointment was all of about 5 minutes, if even. A quick check around my mouth garnered the approval of Dr. Chin. Apparently I had healed quite well. Indeed, you can only see the scar if I point it out.
The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was their procedure of billing the patient up-​front and then submitting to insurance. I hadn’t known of this procedure until I got to the office for my consult, but I think it’s a common enough practice that they don’t get a more severe finger-​wagging for not mentioning it when I scheduled the appointment. Irritating practice, however. So, I’m awaiting all but my standard $ 20 co-​pay to be reimbursed, along with what I paid for the surgery, in the form of a check from my insurance sometime in the future. Lovely.
Dr. Chin and his office were friendly and professional throughout each interaction I had with them. I have since referred them to someone else who needed a similar procedure and I would do it again.
