Christopher was amazing. Not only did the pictures turned out great, but he was a tremendous help directing the party bus. On top of that he’s just a good guy that you won’t mind being with you on your wedding day. i highly recommend him.

Christopher Foltz is phenomenal! We just got married 9.18.15. Who knew that my endless hours on Pinterest would have led me to him. He was the best decision I made about the wedding besides my husband of course! Christopher has such a gift with light when it comes to photography we loved so many of our pictures from both the wedding & engagement session. We are having such a hard time choosing what to frame/​canvas. Christopher is one of those people that you have feel like you have know for years. He was timely, professional, funny, and I think I heard «I love you photographer» from so many guests at our wedding. I love his work so much I’m hoping I can recruit him for our first family photo someday?! Chris you down?! I highly recommend Christopher Foltz and I know you will be as happy as I am with him. Christopher F shot my wedding on 5÷30÷15 and we had the photos back in way less than a month… AMAZING! On the actual wedding day, Christopher showed up right on time and was always where he needed to be — usually without anyone really noticing he was there. He captured so many special moments from our day and was so awesome to work with. He comes HIGHLY recommended by me! One suggestion for other brides and grooms is to take the time to fill out the sheet he provides you so that he knows about any unique moments not to miss.
Separately, he also shot our engagement photos in late September and did a great job then, as well. Some of the poses turned out a little awkward and the photos towards the end of the session had some lighting issues, but there were so many good shots I guess they can’t ALL be perfect. :)

There’s not enough wonderful things to say about Chris! He did our engagement photos and these pictures turned out beautiful and he was so prompt that we couldn’t wait for him to do our wedding. Fast forward to our wedding day and we are still just as impressed if not more. Not only is Chris super talented, he is a blast to be around and makes you feel like you are hanging out with your close friend. Everyone in my wedding party had commented about how much they loved our photographer. We had our pictures back lass than 3 weeks later and they are stunning we don’t know how we will ever choose which ones to print! Thank you Chris!

Fact: Good things CAN come from hiring people from Craigslist! Christopher is a perfect example. When tasked with trying to find a talented wedding photographer in Chicago that was reasonably priced, I was overwhelmed. There are literally hundreds of photographers in the Chicago land area and most are extremely expensive. I found Christopher by chance on craigslist and immediately fell in love with his photo-​journalistic style. After emailing back and forth a bit, my fiancé and I decided to hire Chris – and to this day we still talk about this being the BEST decision we made in our wedding planning process.
I only spoke with Chris briefly about what we wanted in our engagement pictures and let him dictate the rest. The results were some amazing engagement pictures! Chris was flexible about our engagement session, allowing us to shoot some pictures with our dog, to change outfits during the shoot, and even trying to get some infamous shots with a sparkler. Chris’s super-​sweet wife was present during the engagement pictures and she worked as a talented and helpful assistant. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and we felt more like we were hanging out with friends than having our pictures taken by a talented professional.
Fast forward to our wedding a year later – Chris was instrumental in our wedding day success. I shared with him the plan for the day and discussed locations for pictures, and let him take care of the rest. Chris is extremely creative and has an eye for good shots, and most importantly he does not need any direction or micro-​management. He was never in the way, but always seemed to be there when we needed him and captured all the most important moments of our wedding day. Besides taking stunning pictures, Chris helped the groomsmen with a ring fiasco, attaching boutonnieres, and although I probably shouldn’t share, he bustled my dress far better than my wedding coordinator ever could! :) The outcome was some of the most stunning wedding photographs I’ve ever seen and exactly what we wanted.
Chris is extremely fast at editing pictures, we received edited pictures online within 2 weeks of our wedding and a pretty USB a few weeks after that. (I might add that photography is not Chris’s full-​time job). The cherry on top was that Chris’s beautiful pictures of our wedding day were published a popular wedding blog – secretly every bride’s hope for her wedding pictures.
Do not hesitate about hiring Chris, he is extremely talented, passionate about photography, and has an easy-​going personality. The value you will receive for beautiful wedding pictures and working with an honest and talented individual is high and very competitive with other photographers in the Chicagoland area.

Christopher was incredibly professional, very discreet when taking intimate shots of us (we didn’t even see him!), and worked incredibly hard to get us the photos in such a timely fashion for our engagement and wedding photos. He showed up early, he also was able to get all the family and wedding party photos done quickly after the ceremony, and he even stayed a little bit longer to get some additional photos that we wanted. His creativity, patience, great attitude and talent altogether created the photos that we wanted for our wedding. He knows exactly what he is doing and loves doing it! I highly recommend him for any event that you want captured. We can’t wait to use him again in the future for more events!

Christopher did an AMAZING job as our wedding photographer! When we met with him, he made us feel so comfortable and his passion for photography really showed. Christopher was so helpful in helping us plan our wedding day itself — he told us the order than things usually flow best in and helped us plan the timing of our day. His prices are totally reasonable, and the quality of his work is fantastic. On our wedding day, he was so fun to work with — he is friendly, open, excited, and just a normal dude who you’d want to have a beer with. He helped both me and my husband calm down as we got ready separately, and he even gave my husband a hand with getting dressed (i.e., figuring out how to use studs on his tuxedo shirt). After our ceremony, we left while our guests had a cocktail hour and took our couples photos — and OH. MY. GOD. He did them SO fast and we got SO many amazing shots! We seriously could frame every single picture that he gave us. During the ceremony and the reception, he completely blended into the background (which isn’t easy to do at a 30 person wedding!) — no one noticed him, but he captured every special moment.
He got us our pictures in 2 weeks, which is completely unheard of in the wedding photography world (it probably helped that our wedding was during the late fall, not a very popular time to have a wedding) and we love them. Thank you so much, Christopher! We are going to love our photos for the rest of our lives!

My husband and I had Chris take our engagement and wedding pictures… WOW. Chris is a highly skilled, professional photographer. We used downtown Chicago for our engagement and wedding shoot and he used the city scenes to really enhance our pictures. He was quick, polite, FUN and was always putting the bride’s needs first (THANK YOU!) We also had a videographer, that Chris respected and worked well with. Chris is a true artist, the work that he produces captures all the most important moments. We were able to see a sneak peek of both sessions the next day! Having Chris and his AMAZING wife be part of our special day (s) was the best choice we could make.

Chris did such an amazing job on our pictures! We are so happy that we chose Chris as our engagement picture photographer. We are getting married in Mexico and were looking for someone local to take pictures of us in Chicago, based on the pictures we got back I known we choose the correct person! My fiancé and I found Christopher through Wedding Bee and could not be happier that we did! We met with Christopher to talk about his photography and decide whether to seal the deal or not and we were impressed by his work and just enjoyed meeting with him. Shooting our engagement photos was a blast! Christopher and his wife will make you feel so comfortable and are really interested in letting your personality as a couple shine through so you can tell your story. They also are two very creative people who work well together and Christopher is always pushing himself professionally in new directions. It’s exciting to work with someone who is constantly developing and exploring new ways to use a camera.
Anytime someone asks us about wedding planning or how things are going, we always talk about having Christopher for a photographer. It goes something like this, «yeah, wedding planning is going well, we’re super excited, pretty much everything is picked out at this point… and OMG, our photographer is amazing!» We are really looking forward to our big day in May and are so happy that Christopher and his creative lens will be with us to capture the day!

Christopher did our engagement photos as well as all the various events during our wedding week. He was fantastic to work with! My now husband and I are definitely not comfortable posing in front of the camera, but Christopher made the whole process not only really easy, but so much fun! By the end of our shoot, I wanted to do it all over again! He was very professional, provided edited photos in a timely manner (which is hard to come by). But, most importantly, his photographs are out of this world! He knows the city of Chicago really well, and knows how to shoot it even better. We went to various locations — did day and night shots — and he was able to capture us in our favorite city with such a unique eye. During our wedding events, he was great to work with as well — the guests loved him! He is professional, friendly, personable and very, very passionate about his craft. So, my fiancé and I were trying to figure out who on EARTH to use for our engagement photo session here in Chicago before we have out destination wedding in Cabo. We came across Christopher’s photos on Pinterest and FELL IN LOVE!!! He has such a great style and we really wanted to have a variety of locations and daytime shots as well as night. We also really wanted to showcase the city since Chicago is such a big part of us and our home, but we will be getting married away. From the moment I contacted Christopher, I knew it would be a great fit. He was very responsive and timely with emails, and made us feel at ease right away.
During our session, he was very friendly and laid-​back. He gave us direction, but didn’t make us feel all «posey-​posey». We had a great time and couldn’t wait to see how they turned out. He sent is a preview the next day (as he said he would) and had the full album sent to us within a week (again, as he said he would). Bottom line, he delivered AMAZING photos and did just as he promised. Very professional!
We are having a quick courthouse ceremony here in Chicago to «make it official» right before the destination wedding, and have decided we would LOVE to have Christopher capture that day as well. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

Christopher is an obviously talented photographer who captured every moment of our special day. He met with us before our wedding to discuss what kinds of shots we were looking for and even made a point to ask us if there were any specific poses we wanted to do. Aside from getting to know us and asking us for our input, Christopher offered a variety of suggestions for some fun poses, some romantic ones, and some very artistic shots.

Christopher is the best! We got married on June 8^th in an outdoor garden ceremony. The pictures were just amazing. Christopher truly has a passion for photography and his work reflects that. My fiancé and I couldn’t be happier with our engagement pictures that were taken by Christopher last summer. He is so friendly and easy-​going, we really enjoyed working with him and he made us feel completely comfortable during our session. He had great ideas for locations and he also went along with a couple of ours. They all turned out great.
We actually had our engagement party the same night so we asked that Christopher photograph the event as well. We are getting married overseas so most of the guests at the party wouldn’t be attending the actual wedding. It was so nice to have the time to mingle with friends and family and still have those photos to remember the night by. All this and he is totally affordable. Christopher photographed mine and my fiancé’s engagement pictures in summertime Chicago, 2012. We were blessed and fortunate to find him as he came as a strong recommendation from a close friend.
He is laid back, friendly, has a deep passion for photography, listens and is patient while working. His prices are fair and his skills are magnificent. His flexibility and communication worked so great with us as our summer was busy! We shared with him what we were looking for and emailed him ideas of what we wanted to include and asked for advice.

Chris photographed my wedding ceremony in October. He did such an excellent job! I have received so many compliments on my wedding photos. He was very accommodating with our timelines and such, and really captured the special moments, both posed and candid.
