Stopped through the drive-​thru around 5:30 mid week. I ordered one of my usuals — skinny vanilla latte. It tasted fine, but the young man who either prepped my drink or handed it to me had far too much cologne on. I could smell it every time I took a sip. Somewhat ruined my coffee.
Otherwise, service was speedy and friendly, but far too odoriferous!

This Starbucks location is probably the most homiest, in my opinion. The store is spacious, has a drive-​thru, plenty of seating, and a high ceiling that makes it seem even bigger.
I frequent this location mainly on the weekdays to study, and from what I’ve seen over the years, it has become a central meeting spot in the community.
The drinks and the staff who prepare them are fabulous, and I’ve never had a bad experience at this location.

Alway a friendly place to go. Drinks are always perfect and if something isn’t perfect, they fix it without any issues. They genuinely seem happy to be working there and treat the customers fabulously.

Nice spacious location. Super high ceilings. Plush velour extra wide chairs. Leather chairs. High backed bench seating. Small round wood tables. There’s a drive through. The outdoor seating at the entrance is very nice. There are even a couple of umbrellas.
The structure and hardware used in the décor are pretty cool.

Check this one out: Me and Laura order our coffees and are waiting around, when a Chesapeake Police Officer, maybe the assistant chief judging from his rank insignia, is at the counter. Our coffees come up ready and she tries to give them to the cop, but he says they are not his. I step up and tell her they were ordered by us so she says they are on the house.

Probably my second most visited store only because of it’s location in the areas I visit in Virginia. A very busy store and I agree with another reviewer that with the drive thru, the staff is very busy and give less time to the inside customers. I have always had a good drink here though and service has been fine.

If you don’t know what a Starbucks is, please feel free to check out the wikipedia article. They are pretty much all the same, it’s something they strive for. Nothing like a sanitized experience anywhere in the world.
This place has a «drive-​thru» which means the baristas don’t have time for the patrons ordering inside. The staff makes or breaks this place.
There’s usually a 75% chance that this particular venue is dirty and in need of cleaning the tables as well as the bathroom.
There’s four comfy chairs. Some seating along the wall, most for two-​people; some outdoor seating.
It doesn’t smell like coffee. Unfortunately, for Chesapeake, this is about the best you can get. Almost worth the drive to the Norfolk/​Ghent area.
