We have the highest skilled and educated stylists, on current trends, in the state! Our stylists are certified in the latest multi-​dimensional color techniques, hair extensions, keratin straightening, as well as any and all other hair related services.

Our focus is All About Hair. We pride ourselves in a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere with little to no turn over. Our stylists, on average have been here at Salon Piper Glen for over 10+ years!

Appointments are recommended but not required.

History

Established in 1992.

The salon was opened as Studio Trends in 1992. In the beginning it did hair, nails, massage, etc. We bought the salon in early 1997 and felt it needed a few changes.

First, we determined it needed a different name. It needed a name that said what we did and where it was located. After getting input from clients and staff members we changed the name to Salon Piper Glen. Thus we were a Salon in the Piper Glen area.

Second, we needed to focus all of our energy in one direction so we took out all services except hair related services and became a true Hair Salon.

Third, to succeed we had to give excellent Customer Service and the Education for our staff had to be exceptional so we put strategies in place to facilitate both areas.

Fourth, we needed to upgrade the total facility. We did that (and have updated several times since 1997).

Thus was born the Salon Piper Glen we know today. We invite you to come in and let us know how you feel we did.

I am originally from Eastern NC and had a career with Pitney Bowes in the area of Customer Service and Training. After an early retirement I bought the Salon.

Our mission statement has three basic parts:

1^st) Do everything within reason to assure Very Satisfied Employees.

2^nd) Do everything within reason to assure Very Satisfied Clients.

3^rd) Grow the business earnings while growing the earnings of the Employees.

When the 1^st is done the 2^nd & 3^rd will normally take care of itself. That is evidenced by us growing the business over 300% since we bought it and have almost «No» turnover of staff. We also have lots of clients who have been with us since the beginning.

My overall belief is if you truly involve and listen to the employees, treat employees and clients like you would like to be treated, then most other things will work themselves out.
