Dr. Goldman is the best dentist I have ever had. I have had to have some pretty extensive dental work over the past few years, and I was impressed with how minimal the pain was compared to previous dental experiences. I am completely satisfied with my results as well, my teeth look and feel great. Also, despite my having to get a lot of work done, he always thoroughly explained all the options available and didn’t pressure me on what to choose, rather than just trying to sell me the most expensive option. The hours of the office are flexible and have after work hours, and when I have had emergency work that needed to be done, he fit me in right away. He is also located close to the Bunker Hill Community college stop on the orange line, so he is easily accessible by public transportation. My husband goes to him as well, and though her has only needed routine cleanings and a couple fillings, he has had similarly good experiences. Highly recommended.

I have decided to dump Dr. Goldman as my dentist. While the dental service is fine, the customer service is atrocious and inconsistent. Even though the office is conveniently located in Charlestown, I’d rather see a dentist with friendly, accommodating staff.

Great dentist to pick if you live in Charlestown or general Boston area. It is conveniently located in Charlestown’s main downtown area, and there is always easy parking in the 2 hour spots, or in the nearby grocery store lot.
Dental assistants were very good. Neither I nor my SO had any cavities, so I know they are not the kind of dentist that tries to score extra cash that way. The staff and dentist were pleasant to deal with.

I used to go to Dr. Goldman’s office because it was convenient. Now I go because I am lazy.
Things I like about Dr. Goldman’s office is that they have flexible hours: they are open until 8 on some nights and they offer Saturday hours. Also, I have never had an issue with services not being covered under my Delta Dental policy.
There are things I don’t like about the office. I feel like I get an okay cleaning from Brenda. I don’t think she does a terrible job, but I have been to hygienists who are more thorough. I’m not convinced the office is using the latest technology. At my old dentist, who is in Maine, they would even check blood pressure.
Anyway, I will likely continue to go to Dr. Goldman until it becomes too inconvenient.

I’ve had a lot of dentists over the last ~5 years, as I’ve switched jobs and gotten new insurance each time. So I know a good one when I find it!
I was delighted to discover my insurance covered a dentist right in my neighborhood (Charlestown), and even more delighted to see they had really flexible hours — open until 8pm on Tues & Thurs.
This isn’t all too relevant, but the location is really cool — a super historical building right in the heart of Charlestown. And then you walk in and are greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Then my hygenist came out and he was great, too! He was complimentary of how well I took care of my teeth and he did a great job cleaning without causing pain. He also provided just the right amount of small talk. :) And Dr Goldman came in at the end, to close out the whole experience on the same positive note.
Just a very professional and comfortable environment. I’ll definitely continue to be a patient here!
