Meet the Manager

Ashley T.

Manager

Hello! My name is Ashley Torres and I am the Director at Valley Child Care & Learning Center’s Chandler location.

I began working with Valley in 2000 as a part time teacher’s aide in the pre-k classroom. I spent one year working with pre-k before becoming a full time teacher in our two year old program and fell in love with those little ones. I learned that the «terrible twos» is just a myth. Two year olds are fascinating little creatures with lots to teach us. After spending another year with the two year olds, I moved into my own classroom as a lead teacher with three year olds. What an experience! I adored having my own class and coming up with new and fun things to teach the children and experience with them. After a few years with the threes, I slowly moved my way into the front office as an Office Assistant, then Assistant Director and finally became Director in 2008.

I look forward to meeting you and your children.
