Established in 1981.

Dr Casillas opened his practice in 1981 and has been providing quality care to Chandler, Tempe and Mesa for the last 35 years. Dr. James Heaton joined the practice in 2015 and has been a terrific addition to our practice offering orthodontic and implant services. We have a very compassionate team and our patients love us.

Dr Heaton and his staff are the best! I was having problems with my previous dentist and was scared to go somewhere new. It’s truly hard to find an honest dentist that is passionate and actually cares about the patient. So thankful I found Dr Heaton! Highly recommend his office.

Wow! Great Doc, Great location 2 minutes from my house. Dr. Heaton is very personable and honest. And this place does braces too!!! Huge plus for me since my youngest is going to need them soon. Set two appoints for my kids the same day i was in for my initial treatment, which, by the way, was terrific!!! The staff is super friendly and the office is laid back and comfortable. Don’t let this fool you, everyone I met was the consummate professional. Their easygoing style makes for a great and relaxing experience… AT A DENTIST’S OFFICE? That’s right. I was all «Smile’s» when I left and happy to have Dr. Heaton in an office so close to my house.

My kids and I just saw Dr. Heaton and Mandy, the hygienist, today as brand new patients for cleanings. I’m giving them a 5-​star rating just based on our experience today, but will update if needed.
Mandy was AMAZING! Super sweet and so gentle. She took the time to explain everything she was going to do and was so good with my 5 year old (first timer!) that he even commented on how amazing she was :) My daughter and I are terrified of the dentist, so it was really nice to walk out of there today and not be hyperventilating or feeling like we were beat up. They were thorough and very good with all of us. No sales pressure, no feeling like we were being coerced into unnecessary work, everything was explained and for once, I felt comfortable getting my teeth cleaned. For a dental visit, it was as good as it could have been!

Tried to call in to make a new patient appointment with the impression that they had weekend hours available but apparently they don’t. Only giving this rating because the lady I spoke to was nice. But it is frustrating that they advertise weekend hours but don’t actually have them.

I used to be TERRIFIED to go to the dentist until I met Dr. Casillas! Not only does he do a great job, he does it in a way that is gentle and thorough at the same time! And in a time when some dentists try to add to your bill, Dr. Casillas only recommends what needs to be done and then does it better than anyone else! Plus, you get the added benefit of Kimmie, a wonderful hygienist who helps keep my smile beautiful! Everyone in this practice works as a team and makes it the BEST place to go for all your family’s dental needs!

Dr. Casillas is amazing. Him and his staff are wonderful people and I know most of them by name and they know me by name. Dr. C has been my dentists for over 15 years and when I moved to the North Valley, I still drive down to chandler for my dental appointments. The newest addition of Dr. Heaton has spruced up the practice and I saw him for the first time last week. He really took the time to get to know me as a new patient of his. My whole family goes to Smiles of Chandler. I would recommend them to anyone look for a regular dentist and for more work than just the semi annual checkups and cleanings. Dr. C has managed all three of my crown including my two front teeth and nobody ever know they are crowns until I tell them.

I just had my regular cleaning and a full set of xrays. Mandy did a great job with the cleaning. Dr C and Dr H take great care of any problems that come up. I have been coming here over 30 years and love the family atmosphere. Dr. Heaton is a welcome new member of the team! If you havent met him yet, please go in and do. I love my dental group!

Been going here for few months. Dentist work is expensive everywhere. But I love this office. The staff is helpful, patient and always making sure they answer all the questions I have. Did a deep cleaning w Mandy who is amazing. Working on a crown now w dr. Casillad. Almost done w some whitening. His assistant is really nice too.

Dr. Heaton is moving and so am I. Dr. Heaton, has taken care of my smile, my wife’s, and my kids over the last couple of years. I don’t think I would typically drive out of my way to chandler for dental care. However, I’ve been very impressed with Dr. Heaton and I’m willing to go the extra couple of miles to stay with a dental care professional that I trust.

My mom and I have been going to Dr. Casillas for years. The staff and the doctor are extremely friendly. Whenever I call, they know who I am. Goes to show they care about their clients. They are also pretty gentle on the teeth when they clean. I’ve been to other dentists and they were rough. I definitely recommend this dentist office!

Dr. C is the best dentist … and his staff is so wonderful too. I used to be frustrated going to the dentist, because of the strange billing, rough and rude hygienists, or a dentist more interested in selling stuff then doing dentistry. Well, these times are gone for me and my family. Dr C has a super modern office (I like the go-​around x-​ray :) … and a no nonsense and honest approach to dentistry. He always explains things understandably and has all the gadgets to show the problem areas on the big screen … I am so relaxed during cleaning to the point that I almost fall asleep. Great Dentist !
