I have lived at Pillar at Taviano for going on 2 years. And I’ve loved every minute of it. The staff has changed completely since I originally moved in, but they are still as friendly and helpful as before. I’ve never really had any issues living here. Always pay rent on time and online which is super convenient! And free! Most places charge for you to even use an electronic check. I have seen some improvements as far as grounds go since the new manager, Lisa has started. Can’t wait to see what other improvements are to come.

I love how friendly the front office staff is, and the maintenance guys are quick and efficient. There is easy access to the freeway which makes getting to my job convenient. The grounds are very well kept too.

Been a long time resident and have seen quite a few managers come through. It was nice in the beginning but needs improvement on grounds. One thing that is became annoying is they have Epic(grounds maintenance) come out almost twice a week now and it gets pretty overwhelming especially if you live on 1st floor. They come early in the morning sometimes I found dirt and weeds being blown in on the patio so I’m having to clean up the patio in result of that. The roads here are torn up and they bring street sweepers in quite a bit just making a bigger mess than before with all the dirt(I pay rent to have paved roads not live on a dirt road). Management does not inform residents ahead of time when there will be work done on the property(example: trees being cut, they came through taken up parking spots and even stacking tree limbs next to vehicles or cutting over vehicles. Concern since there might be accidents with people’s property.) They are renovating new apartments and the banging becomes inconvenient at times. We know some horror stories with management not taken care of people that have huge maintenance concerns, one was a person had mold growing due to a pipe bursting in wall; out of the residents control. Pros– Average luxury apartment living, nice pools, nice neighbors, pet friendly. The actual apartment maintenance guys today, better than before and(not Epic grounds men) are really nice just feel bad and can’t imagine what they have to deal with day to day. Cons– Gym needs to more updated, they don’t rent out clubhouse anymore, some of the office people look unhappy to work here which can reflect how they interact. Too excessive with ground maintenance doesn’t make it for peaceful environment. You feel you live on a dirt road, don’t bother washing your car. Management doesn’t respond in timely manner. The leasing agents have attitude and sometimes make you feel like your complaining rather than just addressing the issue and having a resolution.

There is NOWAY someone could honestly give this place a good rating unless it’s a fake account created by the employees… Honestly, a one star rating is even too much for this place. The Lead Office Manager is nice(so I guess, that one star is for her) and the young gentlemen in the front office, the rest on the employees(including maintenance) are all VERY rude and stuck up. The Assistant Manager completely lied about the size and storage space of the two-story unit I moved into. They refused the let me see the actual floor plan of the unit, not even the day before moving in when I was signing my lease! This was completely intentional, because if I was able to see the unit with closet sized bedrooms, ZERO storage and joke of a walk-in-closet(it’s actually more like a narrow hall way with two 2 foot rods at the ends), I would have walked away. On move-in day I asked to transfer to one on the other units that they had showed me to show a comparable bedroom, living room and kitchen size(which I found out that units were not at all comparable!!) The bedrooms in the two-story unit are designed for a twin sized bed only(8ft x 7ft). I had a Queen bed and only had about 1ft. of walking space around the bed! The living room was MAYBE10ft x 8ft. And the kitchen is so small that is only fit one person at a time. Also, the unit was disgustingly dirty upon move-in day that I had to an entire day cleaning it before I could move in. NOISE, NOISE, NOISE! These apartments are so poorly built, you can hear your neighbors TV as if it’s inside your apartment. Not to mention, how horribly disrespectful neighbors are. They drive through the parking lot BLARING music for the whole complex to hear, play call-of-duty video games with the surround sound turned all the way up(literally rattling the windows like an earth quake) from 9:00PM-3:00AM almost every night and don’t expect the office to do anything about it either. After several sleepless nights and management not doing anything, I started calling for the cops to come out and deal with it. People constantly have sexual relations in the hot tub, one late night of walking my dog I witnessed that and another morning there was bra hanging from the pool gate handle. Yuck! Yes, it’s nice that it’s dog friendly, but again with the disrespectful neighbors thing, nobody cleans up after their dogs.(My friend lives in the complex across the field, which a wonderful apartment BTW, and it actually has a dog park and very friendly residents who all meet there after work to let their dogs play together.) Also, expect your car to be broken into(happened twice to me and once to my good neighbor). Expect to have many things stolen from you if you plan to move here. It got so bad that I tried to break my lease, but they wanted nearly $ 3,000 to do so. The day my lease ended, I was so THRILLED to move out!

I moved in October of 2015 and I can only say great things about my home! I love how friendly the office staff is and how close I am to shopping and restaurants. The freeway is just around the corner and very convenient to my location. There is not a single thing I would say I do not like about this place! I love my home and will stay here for years to come.

This apartment complex is not luxurious in any way. The majority of the office staff are rude and stuck up. It’s the end of my lease and I find out last minute I have to give a 60 day notice to move out. So when I found that out, I did. And I am supposed to move out end of July and they want to change my lease month to month and raising my rent on my last two months here. The upgraded apartments are not actually upgraded they just make it look that way. The«wood» floors in the kitchen and bathroom are not real. This is just an all around bad apartment leasing company. I made extra payment for the next month to make my rent a little cheaper and I kept my receipt thank goodness, called to talk about my payment next month and the man told me I hadn’t even given extra money in my last month’s rent. He was so sure but then said I have my receipt and he said«oh, oh yes I guess you did» as if he didn’t know what I was talking about at first. What kind of company doesn’t keep track of the money that is coming in? Such a terrible company.

I think the maintenance might be a little understaffed but that’s not to say they don’t do a great job when they come. I have been very happy with them and anything that we’ve had wrong they responded to. Overall we have had minimal problems at the complex since we moved in 5 months ago. Quiet place, dog friendly.
