VigilAir Heating and Air Conditioning

I am writing this review 6months after they have completed their work on my house so I can test the heating/​cooling before I write a review.
The only thing I question is why did not do this sooner! They installed central air/​heating and it has been the best thing I have done for my home.
Everything works great, no issues what so ever, they even helped me set up the accessibility on my iPhone.
Robert/​Susy are amazing. They truely go above and beyond for their customers.
We enjoyed their service so much, we used them to do the same thing to my parent home. I highly recommend them. Can’t beat their customer services and prices.

Great service!!! Susy and Robert are very courteous and friendly. Javier, Jorge, Hector, and Shaun were the crew at my house. They did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. In a world where it’s difficult to get in touch with contractors, it was so refreshing to have such good communication with Susy every step of the way. And Robert’s knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail is simply awesome. Vigil Air installed a brand new central air/​heat system in my older 1950’s home in just under two days. I interviewed many contractors and most of them said it couldn’t be done with the flat roof of my house and pitched me those mini-​duct wall units which I definitely did not want in my home. But Robert found a way to get true central air/​heat installed and I could not be more pleased. The team was quick, efficient, and respectful of my home, leaving the place exactly as they found it. This review is SERIOUSLY overdue! Robert and his awesome team installed our unit about a year ago!!! I cannot rave enough about their services. They were fast, efficient, professional, friendly, and really affordable. They have excellent customer service from start to finish. they took off our old wall heater and installed brand new central air and heating in about 6 hours!!! You won’t go wrong with this company.

OMG, Susy & Vigil are absolutely the best and most helpful people. They treated my mom with respect and kindness through the installation of her (1^st Air Conditioning unit), and were very professional. I can’t use enough superlatives to describe what a great experience I had. My house was built in 1971, duct made of asbestos which I needed to change. I needed a new furnace and AC compressor as well. An initial quote I got from a large company was going to charge me $ 19,600. I shopped around a found VigilAir who quoted me for $ 6900 (4 ton system, duct work, new AC compressor, includes new registers and a cool wifi touch screen thermostat). The furnace was moved from the 1^st floor into the attic; much better. I couldn’t believe how much I would have been overcharged. I think it’s the nature of the industry. Suzy (the coordinator) was absolutely helpful and friendly. Robert is the installer and his crew was able to get everything installed within 4 – 5 hours. 3 trucks of hard working guys, neat, professional, courteous and highly skilled. Robert is a contractor, so he really knows what he is doing. Other companies will often send technicians or installers to do the work. I have a friend who is a highly skilled contractor and he remarked that Robert and his crew did an outstanding job. Just can’t say enough. Outstanding company, outstanding people.

Since moving into our family house in 1996, we’ve been without central AC. All we’ve had was a lousy wall unit that didn’t cool the entire house. The bedrooms would never be cool enough which led to long and hard to sleep summer nights.
Finally, enough was enough and I sought out help to see who offered the best customer service, excellent work, and a reasonable price. No sooner than later, I came across VigilAir.
VigilAir was amazing right from the first phone call. Susy and Robert were nothing but professional and helpful in every way. If price is an issue, I promise you that they are the RIGHT company to install your central ac.
The central ac was installed in our family home in less than half the day. The workers were fantastic and polite. They kept the house clean and organized. More importantly, they cleaned up the all the trash and made sure everything was left spotless!
Lastly, I can honestly say that we are truly happy with our new central ac. It’s a big blessing to finally have central ac in our home and I will definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

Got a brand new 16 seer system installed by VigilAir. I couldn’t be happier with my new Bryant air conditioner and furnace. Robert and Susy are wonderful people and extremely professional. The install took only a few hours and it was very clean. I have dealt with many so called professionals in my life, and I can genuinely say that VigilAir are TRUE PROFESSIONALS.

If you are shopping for a new HVAC system, or components thereof, I am here to save you much research. I’ve done it for you. This is a long review. Should you trust me, reading it will save you way more time than you’d spend researching your own self. NOTE: The first words out of the City inspector’s mouth, when he came to finalize my permits, were,“They did great work!”. But there’s more…
I set up numerous visits for quotes and Robert of VigilAir was my last appointment. He approached this job as if it was his, meaning he looked at stuff in a way no one else had done. He immediately checked out the existing components, i.e., copper versus plastic, to see what would be used in the replacement installation. He climbed up in the attic, dug around outside and he REALLY listened to my concerns.
My main impetus for getting the new system was the noise level of the old one (probably aged 30 years) both indoors and out. It was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation or watch TV on hot summer nights. To solve this, Robert suggested putting in a 2^nd return and a couple of new vents. He knows this stuff and I knew he was The Guy for the gig and VigilAir’s pricing sealed that right away… Suzy took over with regard to getting me their quotes on various systems. Regardless of the manufacturer, her quotes were the best for my bank account. I spent almost two weeks googling around and coming up with many questions for them. Each and every question and concern that I emailed was answered quickly and completely. I chose a Bryant system.
On the day of the installation, Robert and his excellent teammate arrived on time and worked efficiently and neatly… listening to my yattering and answering all my questions without dropping a wrench.
I am still amazed at the immediate difference in decibels upstairs. Downstairs was a different story (so to speak). The vents were so close to the closet that stores the system that there simply wasn’t enough distance for the air to travel to dissipate the noise. Robert promised to return the next day to focus on solving this issue, and HE DID! I have to say that I think what he ended up doing to add more duct-​length was in the genius realm. It’s like living in a different home and I say Bring on the heatwaves!
Robert and Suzy have great character and integrity and personality and you will want to them to be your friends. And they are! I contacted Suzy over a month later when I needed some info for a rebate. She got back to me quickly. I refer them every chance I get, even to complete strangers.

I had gotten about 5 different quotes to replace my furnace and condenser when a friend recommended VigilAir.
By far they were the most reasonable of all the different companies, and Susy explained everything very thoroughly regarding their quote even giving different options. I am very happy with the services – Susy was great with follow up, installation was quick, and prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Outstanding work ethic.
To be honest, I’ve been stung before by companies that have high Unilocal reviews, but VigilAir lived up to the great rating. They came at the time they promised, installed the system as discussed and followed through better than I expected, all this while having a baby in the making. The cost was reasonable and never wavered. Also, when it came time to get the inspection, the city inspector appeared familiar with VigilAir and their quality of work. This is a big bonus in getting the permit signed.
Great job to the entire crew, but special thanks goes out to Robert and Susy.

I am very impressed with the central ac and heat installed by Vigil AC and Heating. At first, I was concerned that their prices were just too low and that perhaps it wouldn’t be a quality unit. I’ve had the York unit in the house for about a month and it works beautifully! I am so happy I contacted Vigil AC and Heating — they give you an incredibly fair price for amazing work!
I highly recommend this family owned business to anyone looking to install central ac and heat. They are professional, incredibly affordable and Suzy and Robert and just so wonderful to deal with!

I am thoroughly impressed with the entire crew at VigilAir! Even from the very beginning Susy had the most attentive and professional customer service out of the dozen or so A/​C Contractors I had come out to bid my job. I needed a complete install from the ground up being that the home I purchased had no pre existing A/​C unit or ducting. That being said Susy quoted me 2k lower than the lowest bid I received and about 8k lower than the highest bid! It was a no brainer to chose VigilAir to do the job.
After about two Months of escrow and prep work my new home was finally ready for the new A/​C to be installed. I contacted Susy and she was able to set me up with a appointment to start the work within one week and guaranteed me they would finish before the next weekend!
Once the work began Robert and Javier were extremely helpful in not only strategically placing all the air vents for optimal air flow, but also addressed all my concerns of the esthetic placing of the unit and outake. Their whole crew also used the upmost caution in keeping the house clean while they worked. To my disbelief the job was done a day early and let me tell you the house gets ice cold. Almost too cold which is a problem I welcome with open arms. The next day I received my permits for the A/​C in the mail. Now I am one «cool» unbelievably satisfied customer. I will recommend VigilAir to all my friends, family, and neighbors. Keep up the amazing work guys!
