I’m very stingy when it comes to handing my car over to someone else and in this case– especially when it comes to fixing it. I was not about to leave my car (even though it was in pretty bad shape from getting rear ended) at a repair shop with a bunch of strangers, but I chanced it anyways because I know I cannot drive around with broken bumpers and a paint-​scraped rear bumper.
Fortunately, after 2 – 3 weeks, my car came back to me looking just as good as it was before. I checked all around my car for any flaws and made sure everything was working properly before I said «okay». Everything was 100% perfect.
Repairs and services are top notch.

I had to use craftsman because someone hit my car & left there insurance information. This is who mercury uses. So mercury called my info into this company i started getting calls immediately!!. If i tell you the greatest customer service OMG yes. I took in they gave me when it will be done & it was, everyone was nice kind & very respectful. I would recommend this place.

Very professional and very courteous staff. Will definitely take my cars here in the future.

I am happy with the service & repairs I had at Craftsmen. They even finished ahead of estimated time & kept me updated thru daily msgs & pix of work progress. I really appreciated the updates. If you are looking for quality then I recommend this place highly!

Craftsmen Auto Body is an excellent shop. I really had an easy time with them. Even though my insurance company didn’t have them listed as an «approved» shop I went their anyway due to past good experiences. Everything went very smoothly. They worked with my insurance company without any issues, in fact they were ahead of schedule which was great because I could not wait to have my vehicle back! Bryan really made me feel like a special customer.

I have used Craftsmen Auto Body for over 20 years and they deliver each time. Work and communication is excellent. Recently had my 2014 Lexus ES 350 repaired and they made sure each detail was in order. They work well with my insurance company, Mercury Insurance. Recommend them without reservation.

Brad, you can twist as much as you want! The fact is when we dropped the car along with the insurance estimate paper. I specially addressed the insurance estimate is less than yours, and the response was– «Don’t worry! We will deal with the insurance company directly!» Not a word about «We can not release the car without full payment,» OR «If you really want your car back you can pay for the difference!»
Intentionally not to properly disclose all material facts and pros and cons to your customers, is a poor business practice which lacks of integrity and honesty.
Well, what can I say, it’s a tough world out there, too much competitions!
Being honest upfront might lose some business and make less money; I believe you must have your reasons to choose not to go that route!

I was extremely satisfied with the service the team in Craftsmen Auto Body provide to their customers. I had a slight damaged side mirror from a car that hit me while trying to pass me in a parking lot structure where there is only room for 1 car! But obviously the other driver thought otherwise. Anyway, after getting hit, I had to take my car for inspection to the Cerritos Infinity center which I was completely lost and did not it was on the left side of 183^rd street! I kept thinking it was around the Cerritos Mall, (my phone was broken during that time so I could not rely on any concrete directions) well I was wrong! So as I am driving around there, I see someone outside Craftsmen Auto Body also inspecting a car, and so I thought, well they should know! Indeed. I parked and asked the very nice young man outside if he knew where this place was at! Very nicely, he asks if I had the address and he very kindly offered to look up the address on his cellphone (who does that now?!) and guide me! I was so relieved by his kindness and his cellphone :) Very nice person to loan a complete stranger his phone, I wish I would have got his name but everyone there is great! Anyway after receiving my check from Infinity and wondering where to take my car in for auto body, I recalled my brother taking in his Honda Civic after having his mirror broken off. He took in there and although it took quite a while (they had to order parts and those take time to come in) his side mirror was fixed and looked great! So I decided to go in again. I went on a Wednesday after getting out of school and sort of in a rush because I wanted to get information first. I went in and first of all the staff is extremely polite and helpful. I did not have to wait long before someone helped me. I explained the situation and right away he offered to see my car. He then told me they had to order the part and repaint my mirror, so I asked how long would I have to be without my car?! He had the smartest idea of just taking the mirror cap off and leaving my car without it if I wanted to, and that way when I came back in I would just wait about 30 minutes while they put it back on with the part they ordered. I thought that was brilliant since I did not have to leave my car. I did not have any of my paperwork (because I only went in for information) but they said it was fine, a simple email with the picture would do! I thought that was very convenient for me, as I thought they would make me take the papers personally. Well no they didn’t. :)
The only thing I would have liked differently was the getting back to me. After sending the email, I was not sure if they had received it or not? I do not like having to call in when receiving service for information, I think it should be the other way around. But I would not let this minor issue taint the quality of service they provide. I am sure they have plenty of other people to get back to. When I called in, they made the appointment for me and their appointment service is also great as I rescheduled online without having to call.
So when I went back on Thursday to pick up my mirror, as always very friendly and polite and I went during their lunch hour at around 12:40. My appointment was at 1:00 but I like to be early. So they checked if there was a technician around who would take care of it and was not yet on their lunch, and indeed there was! He said it would take about 30 – 45 minutes which was fine because that is what they had initially promised. I was amazed at the time the technician took to fix it. I know it was only a side mirror and wouldn’t take that long, but I also know it was probably nearing his lunch hour and could have taken longer. I think the max I waited were 15 minutes! I was so pleased by this. The technician came in said hello to me (without knowing that was my car) and asked me how I was doing while he waited to ask who the car belonged to, then I said it was mine and he told me it was ready! I cannot stress enough how much I loved their service and the follow up would be the only thing I would change. Other than that, these people understand the importance of customers and business which is what makes us as customers loyal. I have already recommended this place for both reasons, their efficiency and their customer service! :)

Very patient. Helpful and understanding when it comes to your concerns about your baby (car). I love how they send update pics. They keep their shop very organized. I waited to write because I wanted to see how the paint help up. I’m very impressed! And a life time warranty. Hey now !

Don’t bother unless it’s big $$$ involved! I only was involved in a minor fender bender and couldn’t even get them to give me the time of day. First, it took me 3 tries to even get appointment. Was informed every time that they couldn’t squeeze me in for an estimate unless I made appt far in advance. Apparently, the only way to get in to see them is to total your car and have it towed in! Was finally able to clear schedule to make appt, but when I got there, they then informed me that it was going to cost me $ 75 before they would even glance at my car! NO ADVANCE WARNING OF THIS WHEN I MADE APPT. And since I am not the one paying for repair, I had to try to get hold of the person who hit me, while sitting in the waiting room at Craftsman. When I asked why they couldn’t give me notice when I made appt, the guy stared at me and walked away. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE. If you just have a small accident and are making your own decision about where to go, don’t bother– they won’t help you at all.

After posting my experience, Craftsmen was quick to contact me and fix any issues in regard to my car. They were not defensive and instead were sincerely apologetic and helpful. This shows how much they care about their customers and customer service. For that reason, I’m adding three stars. I appreciated Brad’s follow-​up and efforts, as well as both Brad and Justin’s customer service. Thank you.
Also I had an issue with my fog lights not working. Initially I thought it was accidentally unwired during the repair process (although they didn’t work on the front of my car). They gladly looked into the issue for me and fixed it.
I do still believe that my initial experience was lacking; however, if a business acknowledges customer feedback and is looking to improve quality of service, then it’s easy to look past it. It’s impossible for businesses to be on their game 100% of the time, but I do believe Craftsmen tries their hardest to do so. And also, they are great guys.

Just got done with using Craftsmen for a second time (apparently people just love rear-​ending me!) I am blown away each time by their astounding customer service and personalized level of care for each car they service. You can tell they are in business for the right reasons and work with you through any issues you may encounter. Even if it is a bit of a drive for you, I’d recommend this body shop to anyone willing to come to Cerritos for service. You’ll be repaid with great service, good prices, and top-​notch repairs. This is a great body shop. My wife and I have had to come here twice in the past 3 months.
In October 2013 she was rear ended while stopped at a red light on the way to work. Craftsman Auto Body is an authorized Mercury Insurance repair facility and is just down the street from us so we called up and dropped off her car. The initial estimate was 3 days but the damage was more than they thought. It took about a week and they kept us updated. We got the car back and it looked great. They washed it and cleaned it inside as well.
Just a few days ago (January 2014) we were rear ended while waiting at a red light driving home from the grocery store. It happened Sunday night, and we spoke with Mercury that night. Monday morning I dropped off the car with Craftsman. They offered to contact the rental place for me but I had a ride on the way so I told them no thank you.
They had the back end taken apart and an estimate in less than 3 hours. They initially told us 2 weeks for the repair, I picked it up today (Wednesday) just 3 days later. There was much more damage this time including the back lift gate but they were able to pop out the dent and you cant even tell it was hit.
If you need car work done these guys are great. I can’t vouch for their prices as I’ve never had to have a car repaired outside of these 2 times but they seem reasonable.
If you have Mercury insurance and need a repair after an accident hit these guys up. If you just need some body work done check with these guys as well.

Craftsmen is seriously the best body shop around! This is the second time I’ve had to take my car here (and even though I love them, I hope it’s the last lol), but they really are amazing. My car looks brand spankin new! Can’t even tell it was in an accident! And the best part is that they finished it 2 weeks earlier then the anticipated repair date. Super fast! What a great way to end 2013. Thanks to Justin and Brad for the great communication and the picture updates! That is definitely an awesome feature they offer. Happy new year!
Ok so adding to this! a dang WEEK after I got my car back from them on New Year’s Eve, a girl rear ended me! I was furious
:(but I took it back to craftsmen because they’re basically the only place I trust! Well they did an outstanding job once again and when I got my car back today (1−20−14), the guys here actually took the time out of their busy lives and used their hard earned money to get me a Babies R Us gift card because they saw this review on Unilocal.If that doesn’t scream «AWESOME» then I don’t know what does. Thanks again Craftsmen. You guys are simply the best around. :)

Craftsmen Auto Body was wonderful! I’ve never had to deal with body shop repairs after an accident before, but I’m glad it was with them! Everyone at this shop was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, including my main contact, James, who couldn’t have made the process any easier! I couldn’t be more thankful! They turned a horrible mess of an accident into a smooth and easy process, and before I knew it, everything was back to normal.
Great customer service + flawless work on my car= all you need! 5 stars well deserved!

Very nice body shop. I’m a very hard person to please when it comes to bodywork and paint. My car got hit on the passenger side and both the doors had to be replaced and painted. It took about three weeks to fix the car and everything went very smooth. When I went to pick up the car, they repaired it like it was a Ferrari. Color matched perfect. I examined it for 10 minutes looking at every angle to find some faults but I couldn’t find any.
I used to restore old VW’s and I know what a custom or $ 15k paint job looks like and they nailed it. If they can please me I’m pretty sure they can please anyone.
And by the way, work station area looks so clean it looks like a research facility. Super super clean. Have them take you to the work area and see it for yourself.

I got rear ended on the freeway in my brand new 2013 Lexus ES300h. I was so heart broken because I love my car. I received an update via my phone and email throughout the process with photos. I picked up my car the other day and it looks like how it did when I picked it up off the dealership lot. I am very happy with the work, professional and courteous treatment and the work is guaranteed for as long as I have the car. Hopefully I will never have to take my car to a body shop again but if I do, I would totally bring it here for service. Thanks Brad and team craftsmen for an awesome job!

Our experience with Craftsmen couldn’t have been better. I backed out of our driveway and crunched the rear bumper of my daughter’s car (yep, two for one!) we took our autos to Craftsmen in Cerritos. We were able to follow the repair and paint process of each vehicles with the frequent email/​text photos sent by Justin. Replacing and painting the rear bumpers of BOTH our cars — one at a time– took only 4 days total. Bradley and his crew have manage to provide quality workmanship and a professional attitude at a competitive pricing.

Went to CRAFTSMEN AUTO BODY after my car was hit my car was in near mint shape for it being 25 years old I need a quote for my insurance.
The guy was very helpful tell he saw my car he did not want to even look at my car and just blew me off piss me off real bad.
I live down the street the only reason why I went there yea my car is old I have lots of money invested in my car about 8 grand in my suspension and my engine I wanted my car to look as good as it ran.
I went to Cerritos auto body they quote me $ 1200 to repair my car and I paid another 1500 to paint it and take out the small dents I had my car looking new again. craftsmen auto body is a bunch of A holes
