Never go here they will try to rip you off. The switched the length of the loan from 60 to 72 months with a sweet talking finance guy. Be careful while you sign papers someone else will come in and distract you.

No one bothered to even come out and greet us. Came back the next day and the same thing happened. Someone finally passed us and said someone will help us. Idk felt very unwelcome here. Mazda of Huntington Beach here we come!

Every Mazda dealership I called for parts were very willing to discount parts for me but only Browning refused. Unfortunately, I needed the part that day and they were the only dealership to have the part in stock. Get your parts elsewhere!

Bought my 2016 Mazda 3 Hatch manual yesterday after receiving an awesome internet quote from them. Armando and Dan helped me and they were nothing but awesome! They honored their quote and explained everything to me. When in the finance room, make sure you go over the numbers many times, so you know for sure what you’re paying for before you sign the contract. I have yet to go in for service maintenance or recalls so I can’t say much on how their service is there. Was in and out within 2 ½ hours. Do your research before coming in when buying a new car people!
Hopefully everything else (including coming in for maintenance and recalls) will go smooth on out!

This review is for the service center only. I was calling around to find out how much it would cost to replace the transmission control module in my car. I already had an idea how much the part cost, since I did some research. Since I am woman I didn’t want to be scammed. When I called John Booze answered & advised me that if I give him my VIN number he could check to see if this part was covered by warranty. He didn’t have to tell me this as I expected to pay at least $ 800 to get this thing replaced, but he did & was very honest. I didn’t know that parts in the engine were covered by a warranty. It turns out that it was covered for 15 years or 150,000 miles. I got it replaced at no charge, which was a big relief since I had already spent a lot the week before replacing my break pads. I did end up needing to replace the motor mount, but at least I was able to save on replacing the TCM. When I picked up my car, John showed & explained what they fixed in my car. So far my car drives a lot better. I had a great experience here. I highly recommend talking to John Booze. He’s super nice, helpful, & honest which is rare with mechanics.

For a few months, my wife and I have been searching for a Mazda 5 Grand Touring mini van. As you know, Mazda discontinued the vehicle and 2015 for the last model year sold. WHy a Mazda 5? Here’s why: 1) it’s 4-​cylinder, VS v6 every other van is 2) dual sliding doors makes getting the kids in and out easier 3) 6 seater, vs out 5-​seater Corolla and 4-​seater Honda Element. 4) Top end model, Grand Touring w/​a butt warmer and moon roof. Finding one within our under $ 20K budget and low miles was even harder to find. Luckily, thanks to the powers of the internet, and car resources like AAA, Kelly Blue book, and such, we found this gem at Browning Mazda. I took a Monday off for personal preseasons to go «check out» the car with the family.
Talk about VIP status… They had the Mazda 5 out front w/​my name on it, literally! Since I inquired about it and scheduled a test drive, I got the VIP treatment. We came in for a 12:30pm test drive and by about 2:30pm, we were out the door with the new car. Mind you, this is a certified pre-​owned Mazda with warranty, etc. The dealer gave better financing too, as I came prepared with pre-​qualification from Capital One — our payments are extremely affordable.
We love the customer service and love the car. It’s quite zippy for a (mini)mini-van. Thanks BRowning Mazda!

Worst non-​buying car experience.
Went in with an Internet quote to purchase. 3.5hrs later I left pissed off:
Internet quote. $ 22.4k
No inventory on the spec.
Offered me a higher trim for $ 23k, which is more than my original budget… said ok.
Back and forth about my trade-​in just so they can match my Carmax quote.
Run my credit. I ask for the details on paper.
They were giving me a higher apr option and a higher quote on paper… wtf…
This is by far the worst car buying experience. Time for a better business bureau report.

Went in today for my free oil change and tire rotation. Even though I didn’t have an appt, I was in and out in an hour, which I think is good for a Saturday. Quick and clean and the service department people seem nice and efficient. Hopefully they’ll have their new carwash working next time I go in in 5k miles. Good experience!

Came here a couple of weeks ago because there was a factory recall on my vehicle and it needed to be serviced. I was told the service would take a few hours so they offered me a ride to and from work. They even offered me a free car wash!
I picked up my car after work and noticed that they didn’t wash it… No big deal. I also noticed that they had placed all of the items in my car in a clear plastic bag. This seemed a little strange.
The next day, I noticed that the auxiliary port & charging port weren’t working. Also, my sunglasses weren’t in the bag and I could not find them anywhere else in the vehicle. I called Felix to let him know about this and he told me to come in the following day. It would be a quick fix, he said. The sunglasses issue would have to be taken up to the manager.
I went in the following day and turns out it was Felix’s day off so they couldn’t help me. They had me come in the following week on a day Felix was working.
So I showed up for my appointment a week later thinking that I would have to leave my car again, but they solved the port issues in 15 minutes. What a waste of my time!
I was told I would be getting a call from the service manager later that afternoon to discuss the disappearance of my sunglasses. I didn’t get a call, of course, so I reached out and finally got a hold of the service manager a week later. Steve told me that they did not find my sunglasses and that his servicemen make enough money to buy their own.

In an attempt to make things right, Steve offered me a couple of oil changes haha. What a joke! He also said that he was doing ME a favor because I had no prior history with them.
Otherwise he would have made an effort to rectify the situation.
DO NOT COME HERE. Their customer service is the worst. If you don’t believe me, just look at how many negative reviews they have.

***do not buy*** do not belive anything they say ***liars***** was promised free maintenance any time for one year… they don’t don’t even honor what they say… free car wash is bullshit machine never works… better off buying a car at hb mazda…

***MANUAL TRANSMISSION DRIVERS… MUST READ***
I had been considering a new car for about a year. I had considered many car brands (even Mercedes) when I was asked a very important question… which was… how disappointed would you be if you didn’t get a manual transmission? My answer… I would be disappointed EVERY single time that I got into my car. So with that in mind… I focused my search to manual transmissions only. That’s not as easy as it sounds because not that many are made anymore.
I wanted something fun, sporty and vibrant. I definitely did NOT want a traditional «family sedan». Already being a current Mazda owner, the choice had become clear. I decided to go with the Mazda3 hatchback. This car offers the most options when looking for a manual transmission. I knew the exact color and options that I wanted. When I searched the Mazda website, my dream car was sitting at Browning Mazda. I called the dealership and Jose Guzman answered. I had him check to be sure my car was still available and it was. We made an appointment for that afternoon and I came in. Jose had my car waiting for me when I arrived. He was very professional, courteous and easy to work with.
My research was already done. I really think that knowing what you want ahead of time is the key to a smooth transaction. I knew what I was willing to pay and what the fair purchase price was. The negotiation process was fairly easy and after going back and forth a bit, we settled on a good price. Mazda also has an amazing ZERO percent finance deal going on right now. If you have good credit there is no need to worry about getting financing elsewhere.
The car drives like a dream. Every manual transmission driver knows the irritation of being on a hill and rolling back. I’m happy to report that the «roll back» will never be an issue again. Mazda has a new hill assist feature that will not let the car roll back while going into first gear. I’ve already taken it to a very steep hill and tried it out. Absolutely AMAZING!!! There is also a command knob in the center console from which you can control the radio, navigation and phone. It makes it nice while driving so you don’t always have to use touch the screen.
If you’re looking for a Mazda, I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Be SUPER careful when you buy a car from these clowns.
1) I brought in my own financing through a bank and they still wanted me to fill out a credit application. I almost had to walk away from the sale for them to waive their stupid credit application. They’ll try to lie to you and say it’s due to government regulations, ⁹⁄₁₁ laws, STFU. If you have your own financing, you don’t need to do a credit application.
2) All of their cars have aftermarket KARR alarms installed. This is such a TERRIBLE idea because they cut into the car’s wiring to power the alarm. They also severe an ignition wire in order to make their alarm work. It’s such a crappy wiring job (t-​taps connectors are a big NO-​NO on something as important as ignition wiring) that over time, something is bound to come loose. Guess what, you’re not going to be able to start your car. They also drill holes into the bottom dashboard to mount their alarm system. You don’t want that sh! t on your brand new car. If you see a car with that alarm system, DON’T BUY IT.
3) Please read the contract thoroughly before you sign. My finance manager tried to sneak in interest rates and finance charges even though I wasn’t financing with them!

Service Department Review Only — I have always had a good experience with the Service Dept. at Browning Mazda. This last appointment was no exception, I dropped the car off early at 7 a.m. and Maria the service writer was all ready to take care of it. I needed an Oil change, tire rotation and 2 recall matters taken care off. She promised the car back at 10 a.m. and it was pretty much that time when she called to say it was ready. Browning then sent a shuttle driver to pick me up to get the car (!!!) and it was all washed and waiting for me up front. No surprises when I picked it up, either — just what I asked for.

My fiancé bought his Mazda here a few years ago, so when we were in the market to lease a new car earlier this month, naturally we stopped by Browning Mazda to see what kind of options there were.
We had an older man as our salesman. He was quite knowledgeable in regards to all of the model and was able to answer all of our questions, but he was not a good salesman. He didn’t make eye contact, had a tendency to mumble, didn’t have a warm personality and it just felt awkward to be around him, as if we were a burden to be with.
Whenever we wanted to see the interior of a car, he had to go inside the lobby and get the keys. Well, after the second time going in the lobby, he sort of just. disappeared.
Yes, that’s right. Disappeared. We were waiting for him out in the lot while he got the keys, by the car we were waiting to learn more about, and we just kept waiting and waiting. And then I see him way out by the side building, out for a smoke!!!
…seriously?! O_​_​_​O
We went back in the lobby. Another salesman apologized for the first salesman, and ended up being helpful with answering all our questions.
The first salesman still left a really bad taste in our mouths, and the incident has become a punchline whenever we talk about car dealerships.

Hands down the best experience buying a car from this Mazda dealership. I had the pleasure of working with Jose Guzman one of the sales rep. I was expecting him to bombard me with all kinds of sales pitches to try and sell me the car I wanted but that wasn’t the case. He just talked to us like normal people making us feel comfortable and answering all the questions we had about the vehicle without trying to sell us on it. Felt like I was talking to a friend who knew a lot about the vehicle and its capabilities. The question of «Did you want to make a purchase of a vehicle?» didn’t even come up, we just had fun talking about random things and when me or my girlfriend had a question he would answer it with detail I didn’t even know.
It helps being an informed buyer when it comes to cars, but for everything that you can’t be expected to know, there’s the friendly and knowledgeable reps of Browning Mazda to help fill in the gaps, which also gave me the absolute best deal that no other dealer could even come close to, we even got an Edmonds price promise for the Mazda CX3 which they beat and I came in w/​a pre-​approved loan which I didn’t even mention until we started talking about numbers and to my surprise they beat that too, TWICE.
Just wanted to thank all the staff at Browning Mazda for helping us w/​our purchase and for being so helpful, patient and prompt with what we wanted. Also, a special thanks to Jose Guzman for being so informative about the vehicle and the paperwork which helped the process move swiftly. Also to Ann who took care of the financing portion of our paperwork who help beat the already great APR rate we started with and explaining what everything meant so that we could understand it better.
I highly recommend this dealership, and we are very very happy with our experience, purchase, and more importantly making new friends as i will definitely be coming back for upgrades, oil changes, and car washes.

I like how Unilocal’s 3 star rating is classified as A-​OK, but I would only emphasize the OK part of that classification. This review is a 3 star review mainly because the internet sales team of Rudy, Angelina and Jasmin provided me with the best out-​the-​door price out of all the other dealerships in the area. That’s about the only real thing that was great about this whole experience. If I didn’t receive this deal, I would’ve taken my business elsewhere. Let’s say Huntington Beach as a good example. My first visit to Browning Mazda in Cerritos was a very middling one since I almost left with a out-​the-​door price on my first visit that was much higher than the one that I ended up getting from the internet sales team. The dealership was prompt with getting a sales consultant to help me during my first visit. I was helped by Jose, whose main saving graces were his passion and knowledge of Mazda cars. That’s where the positives end because after that, despite trying to get chummy with me, he was looking to nudge me into taking a deal right away even though I had made a premeditated decision to purchase after having time to sleep on it. To add on, another consultant named Dudley came in probably to help close the deal, which with his presence made it feel like I was getting outnumbered. I, for one, didn’t have any experience purchasing a car myself going in before this visit, but that is never a good thing to make a customer feel outnumbered when making a big financial decision. If I didn’t listen to family members through phone call, I could’ve spent an extra $ 1000.
As I mentioned before, I made my purchase here because no other dealership could beat the offer made by Browning Mazda’s internet sales team. I had Jose finalize the purchase for me, which thankfully wasn’t too long since I had already filled out a credit app during my first visit. Ann from the finance department was great, explaining everything regarding financing the car very easy to understand. I didn’t get sold anything I didn’t need during financing and all of my costs were accounted for so I do appreciate the transparency from the finance department.
Before leaving Browning Mazda, I was told by Jose that I would receive a follow-​up call the next day regarding my purchase. I mentioned due to my work schedule that I would be free to talk around 5:30pm and he had agreed. The next day I get a call at 4:30pm, during my work hours when I am unavailable to speak, and after I missed the call there was a voicemail saying that we agreed on a call at 4:30pm which was TOTALLY NOT WHAT WE DISCUSSED! It’s one thing to finish a deal and not really promise follow up. That would not have been a problem for me really. But to say you’re going to follow up and not really follow up at the agreed upon time, and to add insult to injury say that a different time was agreed upon is really insulting to be honest. That’s where I take exception. If this follow up was provided, I would’ve been quiet about my previous criticisms and would have given a perfect review. I did sincerely have questions that would’ve been great to have had answered, but just like many things I ended up getting answers myself, which for a business should never be a thing to hear from their customers. But since this was substandard follow up, enjoy my previous criticisms Unilocal readers!
I do enjoy my car very much. Driving my new Mazda6 has been great. Hell, just looking at my Mazda6 is great! Dealing with Ann in finance was great. Getting an unbeatable price from Rudy was great. The facilities are great. But the on-​site sales team needs some adjustments. There are still redeeming qualities with the sales consultants here: prompt service, knowledge about the cars and purchasing process, passion for Mazda cars and that’s it. To try and take advantage of a first time car buyer and not following up when promised does hurt. I look forward to more business with Mazda in the future, but if the on-​site sales team here does not adjust, I am willing to take my business to another dealership (probably Huntington Beach, just saying) which may cost me a bit more for my car but at least I will be treated with more respect as a customer.

This Mazda dealership gave me the absolute best deal that no other dealer could even come close to! I did have to wait forever to even get a chance to test drive the car, but that was the only bad thing I have to say about this place. Nonda is the BEST!!! He was so nice and super helpful! It honestly felt like having my friend there to help me out. He made my experience there the 5 stars I’m giving this dealership. Ann, the finance lady, was also super nice and helpful. Never once felt like I was being pushed or taken advantage of.

We went there to buy first car for our teenage son. Sales person Anthony was so nice. And Jose from office was so handsome. But we were disgraced by finance dept guy «Alan». He cheat. lied … force to sign a lot of documents without give us a chance to read … rush rush rush … sign here … sign there … sign here … go … go … go … and end up with payment that we didn’t want to. … becare full peoples. Came here on a Saturday with my boyfriend to test out the Mazda 6. We were greeted by Deandre, the internet sales person I talked to prior, and was introduced to Ed who helped me test drive and answer all my questions. Turned out the Mazda 6 was too big for my size and became interested with the Mazda 3 instead.
There were a couple other gentlemen that helped us out as well, and one even took us to the back lot to see the specific Mazda 3 model I was interested in. Each and every sales person and manager my boyfriend and I talked to were very helpful and patient, which we really appreciated. The last thing we wanted was to feel bombarded and pressured to buy a car without being 100% sure.
We ended up leaving that day since we had to be somewhere within the hour, and still had to think about the price offer, which was much higher than we had originally budgeted for. We told them our budget, and we promised to be back if we were able to agree on a price.
The next day, Deandre gave me a call back and after much negotiating, my boyfriend and I couldn’t be happier with our agreement. Ed was helpful and informative with the vehicle and the paperwork and processing went much faster than expected.
Overall, we are very happy with our experience here. I highly recommend this dealership, and I will definitely come back when I’m due for an upgrade ;)

This review is solely for the Service Department. I’ve gone in for two oil changes without an appointment but have had my car serviced and washed in a timely manner. The Service Associates have been helpful and not condescending or pushy in any way. My car comes out clean with all the maintenance settings reset for me which is a time saver because I would tend to forget to do it myself when I would go to other oil change chains.
The lounge area is split into three sections. An area with two couches by the vending machines with complimentary water, an office area with desks with the best wifi reception, and the sales floor area with tables and chairs and a television with Directv. ESPN magazines are also scattered for your enjoyment.
