Used the $ 12 for $ 20 deal, which ended up being a lot of food for two people(2 large — foot long sandwiches). I was excited to try this place out since it had great reviews; unfortunately I was let down. First off, it took a LONG time for the guy to make our sandwiches. When I got my sandwich, the pastrami was pretty fatty and the bread was dry. As much as i really wanted to like this place, I would say Jimmy John’s is better.

I am so glad we tried this place!!! I now have to hope we one day get some in Vegas! The sandwiches are either 6 inch or 12 inch. I ordered a «Hampton» and it had turkey, swiss, lettuce, tomato, salt and pepper and you can have it hot or cold. I chose to have mine cold and substitute the lettuce for coleslaw and add Russian dressing. This sandwich was delicious!!! I so enjoyed every bite. My man ordered a «New York Liberty» and it had pastrami, swiss, lettuce, marinated mushrooms, onion, mayo, spicy mustard, salt and pepper and oil and vinegar. He said the pastrami was some of the best he has ever had. We decided to order a 3rd sandwich to split on the road later on our way back to Vegas. We ordered a «New York Yankee» and that has ham, swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo and salt and pepper. The ham had so much flavor. I recommend this place to any sandwich lover!

I was told by various people that the Urban Cowboy was the sandwich to get. What makes the sandwich is an excellent idea, it does fall short in actual taste. I gave it a few tries, thinking that the time before was a fluke; they weren’t. I felt unsettled after eating it. I even tried out the breakfast menu and that too gave me the same feeling after eating. If you’re a fan, that’s great. If not, Cedar offers plenty of other places to get tasty sandwiches. The service though was great and each order gets plenty of personal attention.

One of my favorite places in town hands down. I’m addicted to the New Yorker :) Roast beef, pepperchinis, pepper jack cheese, feta cheese, and lettuce and tomato. I leave off the lettuce and tomato and add Russian dressing. I will never get tired of eating this sandwich :)

I have never had a bad time eating at Gandolfo’s. If I could pick one sandwich to eat for the rest of my life, it would be the Urban Cowboy. Seriously. Try it. You may come to the same decision.

I walked into the deli and was overwhelmed by the number of choices on the board. There were so many different types of sandwiches to choose from that I wasn’t sure what to get. I finally ended up ordering the Central Park, which is a hot pastrami sandwich with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and spicy mustard on rye. The sandwich was tasty and loaded with pastrami. It doesn’t compare to Langer’s in Los Angeles or Canter’s in NYC, but it was still pretty decent. The sandwich cost me around $ 9 after tax, which is a bit pricey, but I was satisfied after eating it. All sandwiches that they have are also available as a wrap for those counting carbs.
