A smoothie, as the name indicates, should be smooth. It should not be served with chunks of ice. Fruit, yogurt. That’s it really. You can add a few extra ingredients of course, but ice should not be one of them. What is served as a smoothie at this place is actually an icee. The flavor is not unpleasant, but I thought I was getting a smoothie, not an icee, which is what I got. The owner is a nice guy, but most of his staff are untrained in communication so your order often comes out wrong. I have eaten here about a dozen times over the last five years and I have never gotten the order right on the first try. Be prepared to thoroughly explain your order, and even though it seems the young man or woman taking your order seems irritated, it’s necessary. The place has a pretentious air about it as it is frequented by half cultured hipsters that deny being hipsters. Some of the items are pretty good, but not good enough for me to ever actually suggest eating there.

Great place for a good standard salad, sandwich or coffee :) my brother and I went here twice all together and it’s a great establishment! I ordered a latte, but it tasted like salt because the boss had recently cleaned the espresso machine with too much salt. They gladly and persistently tried to fix the problem, the waitress and boss both came over to offer their apologies and ways to try to fix the problem. I ended up getting a drip coffee instead and a cheesecake to make up for the difference for the latte. Overall great little joint with a real Irish vibe! May God be with you as well :)

Delicious find for lunch on our travels north along I-15. Well worth the slight detour into Cedar City. The salads and sandwiches were fantastic! Wonderful service with helpful explanations of the menu and the special salad(which was delicious). The hot loaded pastrami was also fantastic. The bread for all the sandwiches was fresh and delicious. I recommend the pesto sauce with a croissant.

Unique and delicious. Friendly service. Got the chipotle sandwich on a cheese bagel and it was pretty amazing. This place has the advantage of knowing both how to bake fabulous pastries and how to build a fantastic sandwich. Plus the homemade sauce was perfection as well. Wish I could have sampled all the desserts but the éclair was the best I’ve had that I can remember.

Great place for lunch, wonderful sandwiches and the«family owned» feel. Lots of healthy choices as well as the old standards, everything always very fresh. A must try! TD

Great little sandwich stop. Hubby loved the balsamic chicken and I enjoyed my asian chicken salad. Friendly and quick, prices are very reasonable. Clean and cozy atmosphere.

We got some salads and they were average. Wouldn’t go back for them. So my advice is… Go for the desserts! Super yummy fresh and light very good.

I went here with my husband for breakfast. It was terrible the eggs had been microwaved to a rubbery disaster. My husband ordered the steak and egg sandwich. The«steak» was more like a school lunch sloppy Joe. I was horribly disappointed with the entire experience. I can honestly say I would tell everyone to stay away from here for breakfast!!!

I love my lunch sandwiches. I have had the Chipotle and Italian and love them. The treats taste like they were frozen in the box and not good.

The pastry pub has a great place to sit with friends and have a really good sandwich. I make it down to Cedar City now once or twice a year, and no visit is complete without a visit to the Patry Pub. I have not found a better sandwich anywhere else. I recommend getting a roast beef beef cheese bagel with everything on it. Very satisfying and affordable. For breakfast get the california on a chees bagel, very good!

I love this place! I go to cedar city once, or twice a summer for the Shakespeare festival and a stop at the Pastry Pub is always a must!!! I like the half salad, and half sandwich. I also like the California bagel sandwich. The tarts are amazing, and so are the other baked goods. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. More pastry than pub. I wish they stayed open later, so we could drop by after the evening plays.

My husband and I were traveling so decided to try this place for lunch. It was busy but the staff kept the line to order food moving and kept the tables cleaned so seating was easy. We had a sandwich combo and the southwestern chicken salad. Both the sandwich on a sub roll and the salad were definitely enough for us to share but we didn’t know that in advance. We should have ordered either/or. Both lunches were delivered in a normal timeframe and both were tasty. We will stop here again when in town.

Well I happened to stumble on this place while roaming around town. Visiting here from Los Angeles. I had the Mediterranean chicken sandwich and it was absolutely excellent! Can’t speak for the rest of the menu but I would highly recommend this particular sandwich. I would also highly recommend their chocolate chip cookies. Could be the best that I have ever had!

*2.5* Not much of an experience here. it smells really good when you walk in, like fresh bread. I got the California bagel for my vegetarian self, it was good. Definitely better than a fast food joint, but I wasn’t blown away by anything. My friend got the pumpkin milkshake and said it was good.

Start with the food. It was quite mediocre. The bagel was massive. Only reason I gave it a single star. The customer service was probably the worst I have ever had in cedar. The girl working the cash register was talking to me like I’m stupid because I asked what the best thing on the menu is and what kind of cheese I could get for my sandwich. I have never had such a terrible customer service experience. I will never visit this place again. I advise you to do the same. There are much better places to eat in this city.

My friend and I ate breakfast here on our way to Zion. We both took a couple bites from our breakfast sandwiches and couldn’t keep eating. Microwaved, rubbery, and tasteless egg. Wet and slimy meat. The whole thing was terrible and a waste of money. Now we need to get a real meal Somewhere else. Two stars for decent customer service.

A pleasant little sandwich and pastry shop in downtown Cedar City that was recommended to us by a local resident. Service was reasonably quick and the food was good and well-priced. We would definitely eat there again.

Staff was friendly and the food came out fast. The sandwiches we ordered were a lot larger than I expected with fresh and plentiful ingredients – crisp lettuce and thick slices of cucumber. They even pay attention to plating and our sandwiches came out arranged like a heart. The free, no-hassle Wi-Fi was great considering my poor T-Mobile coverage. When driving through Cedar City or visiting for the Shakespearean Festival, we love stopping here for lunch and a pastry or cookie.

I ordered the Monte Carlo to go. It was pretty good! Part of it was stuck to the paper, so it was somewhat hard to eat. Other than that, it was delicious. Wished there was more of it. You must order tiger cake and a cannoli! I walked a mile to get these and they didn’t melt on the way back. Both desserts are rich and perfect for satisfying«creamy cravings» as I call ‘em. Staff is very friendly and you won’t wait long at all for your food.

Interesting little lunch place with a rather big menu. I was here with a group of people and our meals came out at about the same time(which is really nice considering we ordered independently). While they bring you your food, drinks are self-service. The portions are good sized, you won’t leave hungry. The food taste was average, no complaints. However, I’m also not sure why my quesadilla was served wrapped up like a burrito.
