I booked for a limo at 3pm as I had an event to attend. Didn’t hear anything till about 4pm when the driver called to say he was on his way, giving some frivolous excuses for the delay. SERIOUSLY! Service was a total rip-​off, although they tried to make up for it later, it was just too late and very unprofessional. Guess that’s what you get for trying to overcut cost and going for cheaper services.

Very old and dated. Called to confirm 1 hour before and they said they were sitting in front of our house for 1 hour waiting and tried charging us, that’s just a start. Got to our destination had dinner and went to get in our limo and some random man in a different limo greeted us. He took us to a random parking and we waited for 45 minutes for another limo. All of our belongings
Were never transferred to the new limo wine, food, etc… Not to mention
My favorite hand hammered copper bowls imported from Argentina !!!
I called the owner of this company and he was somewhat apologetic but
Said everything was thrown out! Who does that! He offered me a 70 $ credit

I have never written a review for any business before, but I feel the need to share my experience so no one else ever needs to go through what this despicable company put me and my family through.
I hired Paramount Limousine Service to take me and my family from our home to Lax for a trip to Cabo. It was a round trip quote, as they were to pick us up at LAX upon our return from our vacation. When we arrived at LAX, there was no limo waiting for us. I called Paramount, who explained that they had made a mistake and misquoted the price and therefore did not send a car. I explained that my family was stuck at LAX with no ride and that they needed to send a car. The woman (Andrea) replied that there were no cars available and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the woman who made the original arrangements with me (Melanie), and she apologized and said that she was in training and made a mistake and that she would have the owner of the company (Sean) call me. Sean never called. She said that they were unable to reach me to inform me that they wouldn’t be picking us up at LAX. I explained that I was out of the country with no phone or email service.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL LEAVE YOU HANGING. THEIR MISTAKE PUT MY FAMILY THROUGH AN EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY IN THE CARE OF THIS COMPANY.

do not use this company, the called me an hour before they were supposed to pick up my group to prom to tell me they weren’t sure where they were going to pick us up that unlike their website they do not have an iPod hookup and that the time was wrong even though i had emailed and talked on the phone days before confirming everything. i will say our driver was very polite but i was displeased with how the company ran its service.

TERRIBLE! Do not let the low price deal impair your judgment! I am posting this comment here at City Search because the representative from Paramount had the nerve to bad mouth Unilocal saying that the poor reviews on Unilocal were somehow Unilocal doing. Not the case and don’t be fooled.
My party was arranged for 3÷16÷12. I booked through
which was seamless. I thought I would hear from the company prior however they never reached out to me. Unsure and wanting to be sure we were on the same page I called 4 days before my event and spoke with an employee telling him that I read al of the poor reviews and that I wanted to make sure that we were going to have a nice, clean vehicle with the amenities that were described in the rental agreement. He said that they were under new management and that they were working toward improving the service and that he would pass the information on the Sean who apparently is the owner of the company.
On the day of the event, still not hearing from the company to confirm, I called again to make sure everything was set.
Limo arrive on location on time. It was not the vehicle that I had ordered. The Hummer Limo that was sent was clearly in roughed up shape. Peeling paint on the roof, older model. Oh well right… we got in and the rank stench of cat piss and cat litter was so bad it was about nauseating. Immediately I told the driver that the smell was unacceptable. We decide to open all of the windows and deal instead of delay our night any further. I knelt down on the floor to pour myself a cocktail and o my disgust, the carpet was soaking wet (probably cat piss)
Throughout the course of the night the driver kept telling us to close the door harder in the back, that the sensor was alarming in the cab showing an open door. It was an annoying issue all night. At one stop we couldn’t open the door from the outside and the driver had to climb in and kick the door en from the inside to open it. The inside panel fell off.
We all continued to have fun and because of a few delays with the door issue and waiting for the limo to return for pick up when requested in 15 minutes, he showed up about 45 minutes later we ended up over our time by about an hour.
The driver said to call the manager and to tell him how horrible to smell of the vehicle was and that he would probably take care of the overage fee.
HERE IS WHERE IT GETS WORSE!!!
So I call the manager the very next morning, of course he isn’t in and I leave a message to have him call me Monday am. No call Monday am so I call him later that day. I kindly offered to tell him about our experience and he was short and rude from the very moment before h even began listening. After hearing the issues, mainly the STENCH of PISS issue, he blamed me for not calling him that night o he could have replaced the vehicle since he had a brand new hummer sitting on his lot. Weird that he didn’t send the non-​stinking one to begin with right! Anyway not the customers issue to call the company, maybe the driver could have intervened…
Then he tells me he was glad I called so that he could talk to me about all of the DAMAGE we caused to his vehicle. And the trashed condition we left it in. My chin literally hit the floor at that point. Knowing we didn’t do damn thing to his piece of shit limo. He then tells me he would be sending me an email with the pictures of the «door» that he claims we were swinging on. Swinging on the limo door… really. Mind you we are 40 and 50 year old people, not a bunch of crazed 20 something’s ! I had to tell him about the whole door issue that we had the entire night and he has the nerve to tell me that he will confirm with the driver «which parts of my story are real and which are not real». Really you’re now calling me a liar! We literally cleaned out everything we brought into the limo minus a few beer bottles that we had no trash bag for. He tried to tell me the carpet was soaked with beer. Nice try guy! It was wet when we got in.
Clearly the new management (Nicolas) for the company is also new to management all together. This guy had the balls to tell me that he was experienced with management and customer service because he started 3 months ago.
Nicholas was very argumentative, condescending, and defensive with me as his customer. He did nothing to help the situation and only made things worse. He told me that he inspected the vehicle himself before it went out and that it was not in the condition I said it was in. I am shocked that he missed the PISS stench because the driver and my whole party complained about it and my car still smells like it from returning to my home after the end of the night.
The company advertises themselves as being a part of the Better Business Bureau. They aren’t. Another false claim. They did nothing to resolve this issue and I had to cancel my credit card to prevent further charges.

By far one of the worst services and companies I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Our limo completely broke down on the way to the venue (the rear suspension was literally dragging on the freeway). We had to stop and everyone had to exit the vehicle. It was a pretty cold night in LA so it was quite awful. We stood on Hollywood Blvd for 2 HOURS while waiting for a replacement vehicle. The replacement they sent could only hold 3 people (we had 8) so a few of us had to find alternate transportation.
When I called the following Monday, not only did they double charge my credit card, they CHARGED OVERTIME. Three charges: none of them warranted. The manager I spoke to was rude and refused to even refund the overtime.
Sleazy and arguably CRIMINAL organization. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I prepaid for a trip to LAX to catch a flight !

Never in my life have I experienced such an awful limo service. Not only did WE have to call to ask where the limo was only to be told thy were running 15 minutes late– THEN we get a call 20 minutes later saying that our limo driver had been pulled over by highway police… WOW. If that doesn’t inspire confidence I don’t know what does.
In a way this post isn’t even necessary because based on what I saw today, this company will be out of business very soon

Booked this service for an airport pickup from LAX through
. They charged me more than I was quoted without informing me. Then when I called to ask about them overcharging me, the representative rudely informed me that it clearly stated on the website that there was an extra toll fee for an airport pickup at LAX, which was not the case. Plus the driver was drifting all over the road and then asked me for a tip before I even got out of the car. Awful service, never again!!!

I’ve been using Paramount Limo because of the relationship of entrepreneur organization. However, after the last two experiences, I’ve been forced to write an undesirable review of this company. This company hires absolute idiots as their drivers. For instance, they could not properly punch up my address on GPS and on top of it, the driver did not keep track of his battery level. He had to call AAA at the end of the night and, I ended up calling a cab service to pick us up. Utter disappointment from a service standpoint, and they hire complete inapplicable staff. I don’t even want a refund and want the distaste off my memory.

Wish I’d read these reviews before I booked with them. I took a group of people on an excursion to see Christmas lights and then to the Manhattan Beach fireworks display. First, after being told the location of the Christmas lights, the driver instead took us to a random location in Torrance — ok, maybe a language barrier. We finally made it to the correct location only about 15 minutes later than it should have been. When we went to see the fireworks, we were dropped off near the pier where the fireworks were held, and were to call the driver to be picked up. When we called to be picked up, the driver said she was 15 MINUTES away because there was nowhere to park. I assume that means there was nowhere within 5 miles to park or wait? My party of 8 people (including a small child) then were left to sit on a sidewalk for about 25 minutes because the driver got lost and had to be talked in by cellphone. After the driver managed to pick us up and take us home, we wound up about 15 minutes over our allotted time. Two days later I saw a charge on my credit card for another 60 bucks — apparently for the time the driver spent getting lost and for «transportation back to base» which they had told me they would not charge me because their LAX base is so close to my house. When I called to complain, I was told that the manager would call me. Of course that did not happen. I hope these people go out of business before they overcharge someone else for the privilege of ruining their excursion.

Hands down the WORST shuttle service I’ve ever had the misfortune of working with. What’s even more frustrating is that it happened on my wedding day. Fortunately my wife and I have great friends.
So we needed shuttle service for our guests from our hotel (where the reception was being held) to the ceremony. We booked them from 3:30−5:30 (ceremony was from 4:00 — 5:00) and they showed up on time to the hotel… good start.
After the ceremony, we walk out and we have a group of about 10 people who need to be shuttled back. No shuttle. We call the limo service. No pick-​up. They DID NOT provide us with a driver cell phone. The reception is in less than an hour and we have members of our family still at the ceremony site, the bride and groom are still there, and there’s no shuttle in site nor are we able to speak to anyone about the situation. We waited about 15 minutes and then we had to come up with a contigency.
Fortunately we had two cars (one groomsman drove and one usher) and we were able to make two quick trips to get everybody back to the reception.
The cost for this fiasco (including tax & tip) ~ $ 190.
My wife called the next day and they said, «Oh, we’re sorry. Didn’t you call the driver». It would have been nice to have gotten this info from the driver or them in advance. Then they said, «We’ll give you $ 50 back». My wife argued and they offered $ 75. She took it. I wouldn’t have but that’s her decision.
Now we look at our bank statement and they’ve charged us TWICE and have not refunded anything to our account.
So now I’m calling. And I’m not going to accept just $ 75.
This is BULL$H!T.

Hardly should even receive 1 star.
The driver was 45 minutes late, after telling us that he was 2 street lights down. After finally getting a manager on the phone, the driver showed up. Obviously annoyed, we got into the car, on the way to a concert. We hit traffic, which we likely would’ve avoided if he wasn’t so late, as we planned to get there early.
During the concert, I got left a voice mail that we needed to find alternate transportation home. We were in Hollywood, and live in Long Beach. We had already paid, which at the very least, the voice mail did say they would refund ¾ of the cost.
Yesterday, I received a flyer in the mail, with coupons. Explaining their excellent service– which they clearly failed to provide. I certainly do not recommend them, and suggest looking else where for your transportation needs.
