Carson City Towing

I would like to start this by saying thank you to the owner of this company for lowering the fee to get my car out because as his associate communicated to us he told her «It’s a POS, I don’t want it».
The experience I had at their location in Reno was by far my be of the worst encounters I have had.
My car was stolen and ended up at this location, I had never received a call from the police so my car sat here for about a week racking up fees.(This isn’t the tow company’s fault) I finally received a letter in the mail from RPD and called this company to find out information on getting my car back.
Shocked by the price, I began crying and told the woman in the office I would call her back. My step-​father had called shortly after I hung up since I was too upset to focus. Apparently he made her angry by asking questions. In her words «He just wouldn’t shut up!»
My boyfriend, his father and myself went down to the office to speak in person and were confronted with a very hostile and rude woman behind the desk. My boyfriends father asked simple standards questions about what options we had etc. only to be met with her yelling at him.
I was silent with tears running down my face and she looked at me and yelled at me to «Stop crying, if you want to make it to age 21, you’ll stop crying!» She then began to talk badly about me to her drivers as they walked in because I told her I didn’t have full coverage insurance because I couldn’t afford it. She did this IN FRONT OF ME as I was sitting at her desk.
Please note, we had not once raised our voice to this woman. I truly do not understand how somebody could be so mean and hurtful to a young girl who is clearly just having an awful day.
I understand this woman’s job may be a brutal one and I’m sure she deals with a**holes all day long. However I was not one of them.
I hope I never have to encounter this company again.

I’ve had to use them a lot recently and they have been quick and courteous. Chris was especially helpful.

Had a flat today after shopping at the mall. Called my insurance for assistance. I received a text telling me an hour wait if any questions call. So I did. My phone was acting up but still the Admin when I called was very rude. I had questions like where are you located? Why so long in town? How many fleets are working? The more questions I asked to understand the service I’m receiving the more annoyed she became. I called my insurance to ask for another service and while I did that I received another notification that my wait would be longer, then 5 min later the truck came. Poor communication and customer service. Ultimately it was fixed the driver was nice but the hassle and office staff was unacceptable.

Got a driver from CCT through Farmer’s and he was on the scene in about half the expected time. He changed my flat tire in mere minutes, on the side of the freeway onramp, in 24-​degree weather. He showed me where the wheel had been bent, and gave me some tips to be safe in the snow — he even alerted me to an accident down the freeway & advised I take an alternate route. Excellent service!

Drivers are so amazing!!! My first driver (I’m bad with names) was Saturday night real late. I thought I just needed my car jumped but it still wouldn’t start. He had another vehicle on his truck that he needed to drop off before he could load up my car. He was so quick to get back and pick my car and I up. We loaded up and got in his truck. Kid you not, I wished I lived further away so I could of spent more time talking with him in his truck! Imagine that. When we got to my place he did the impossible, he was able to get my car off of his flatbed and secured it in its tight little parking spot! Again, it was Saturday night and really late. This man made me feel safe! Xoxo
Monday I had to get it towed to the shop. My driver then was so funny and talkative. He educated me on towing and things to remember in the future. I was worried my warranty wouldn’t be where the dealership wanted it to be and he told me not to worry and that when he got to the dealership he was going to take my warrany, and key into the service shop and tell them my car was there. Both exceptional men went above and beyond the call of duty!!!
