Yep. Still waiting for them to take care of their mess and refund for this POS they sold me. Just fired it up — yep– smells and eyes burning. Must be an A1 product!
They sell it with a ‘family owned ’ smile and screw you like a pro.

Disreputable company. Cancelled me from route and failed to call me. Waited 3 hrs and I had to call them. Then they offered to reschedule in 16 days! Have no confidence that they would show up to do the work if they can’t even do a 15 min estimate for chimney repair. Don’t waste your time calling them. Would give them zero stars if I could.

I was absolutely disgusted by the service that I received by this company. I used a1 safety to sweep my fireplace, within 5 minutes the up sales began. I understand that my fireplace need some work but I feel a company should finish the work that they were contracted to do before you try selling me relines and crown repairs. Is also be very interested in how they knew my liming was cracked before the flue was swept and with no camera sent up the flue. I had another company out that fixed the problem was much more inexpensive.

they do not appreciate valid questions:
* «how many complaints have you had regarding your services?
* specify services included in fireplace cleaning.
* what is your pricing schedule?
* how long have you specifically been in business?
beware of a business who becomes violently accusational and hostile when asked valid specific questions as a concerned thorough consumer!!!
this is professional behavior???
they certainly appear to be scam artists just as you stated as they yell over your voice.

we hired this company because of an amazon local promotion for a chimney cleaning & inspection. i did expect them to tell me some bs to get more work out of the job, but i was only interested in the cleaning… but of course the scam artist found everything wrong with everything… a bit over the top, but somewhat expected.
a month after the «inspection» the chimney cap flew off the roof in a wind storm, hitting and damaging a lower roof. accidents happen i understand, but this has never happened before and never happened since. they took it off while inspecting it, but didn’t replace it correctly.
now as it has gotten colder, i’ve noticed that they also broke the hinge on the damper. they just left it there propped half open, cold air drafting into the house.
thanks a lot, jerks. what a scam.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR HOME.
