I had never been to a life-​coach before, and we had actually made my first appointment while looking for a new mental health care provider, not realizing the limitations of her service. She is unable to make any kind of diagnosis, which is a bummer because she has the type of personality I would love in a psychiatrist.
Regardless, I continued to visit Jessica because I felt I needed to get back into therapy, but was having problems «psyching» myself up for the hunt, and wanted someone who I could have help me «practice» for finding a good MHCP. She was so friendly and definitely helpful. I had several session until I found a suitable doctor, but she helped me get over some of the anxiety that goes along with finding the right person to help out. She was very understanding and compassionate and I feel that the even though I didn’t have a lot of sessions with her before I found the right doctor, she is definitely someone I would go to again if the need arose.
