Located in the village of Carlsbad, our dental office has been providing quality dental care to patients of all ages for almost thirty years. Our services range from simple dental cleanings to complex cosmetic veneers, crowns and implant restorations. We have a passion for people, dentistry and excellence.

History

Established in 1980.

My mission is to empower you by making your dental experience comfortable and comprehensible through exceptional and gentle care. My most important role as a dentist is to help you understand how we can work together to prevent future problems. I am constantly exploring and researching new ways to help my patients stay healthy.

I found my life’s passion at the UCLA School of Dentistry where I was able to use my ability to relate to others and my hands to contribute to others. I graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1980.

I have lived all over the world and I can say with certainty, that there is no better place to live than Carlsbad. Today I am living my dream. I live in the community I love, Carlsbad, with my wife, Debi, the love of life of for 37 years, three blocks from my office (no freeway in my daily life). I have the successful practice I always dreamed of filled with my friends and neighbors.

I’ve been seeing Dr Bell since I was a teenager 20+ years ago. I still schedule my regular cleanings to see Dr Bell when I come to Carlsbad from Chicago to visit family. I cannot find a good dentist where I currently live (even though Dr Bell said I should in case of an emergency — I tried, but they recommended a $ 500 mouth gard my first appointment which was a sign I could not trust them, plus the hygenist was not at all gentle like at Dr Bell’s and I could taste a lot of blood during it). I need fluoride treatments and instead of charging me for some, he gave me some paste to use at home and refused to let me pay. I have not been seen by Dr Brandon Bell, but my mom is very complimentary of him, she says he’s like just like his dad. Plus I love Diana the hygenist, she is wonderful. I would recommend this practice to anyone that wants to have a great experience and actually look forward to going to the dentist!

This office is very clean and professional. If you are lucky enough to get in and on the schedule you will love this practice. Once a patient, they will take care of you and remind you of all appts. They also will make room for emergency’s should you have one.
My entire family goes here. Very pleased with the service they provide!

I have been going to Dr. Bell for over 30 years. Dr. Bell and his entire staff are the best around. The whole staff is friendly and welcoming, they are gentle when working on your teeth, and the office still has that small, Carlsbad beach town feel. I never dread my check ups every 6 months!

This office is the BEST! I am an admitted dental chicken and HATE going to the dentist. Well, I used to hate going to the dentist but now it is not stressful at all. Both Dr. Bell’s are fantastic. I usually see the «dad «who is so gentle and patient. I saw the «son» last Friday due to a dental emergency and he is equally as wonderful as his dad! If you are looking for a caring, knowledgable and gentle dental practice This is the place for you.
The entire office staff is kind and professional. I can’t recommend them enough. Best dental office I have ever experienced.

I have been going to Dr. Bell for 25+ years and really appreciate the consistency of everyone who works there. They are so friendly,
professional and make you comfortable. And Dr. Bell’s son is there now as another dentist to see and my confidence in him is strong. And like his dad he too says «sorry» even though he’s not hurting you and there’s nothing to be sorry about. Like father like son! I recommend this dental office to anyone who asks me for a local dentist.

I could not be happier with the experiences and services I’ve had with this office. The staff is friendly, efficient, and really smart about scheduling.
My initial exam was great because Dr Brandon was very friendly but methodical, giving me a great overview, answering my questions in a way that made me understand the details, and tackling the concerns in a a really medically practical way, also considering what would save time and money. My cleaning appt was also great because the hygenist was thorough and friendly– the time really flew.
I appreciate the staff of this office for thier care and attention. I’ve moved around a bit but I’m planted here for good. Finding good doctors and dentists isn’t easy, but this office is truly an excellent find!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell everyone in this office enjoys what they do. Super friendly and upbeat, a family practice. I I feel everyone takes the time to give you the best possible treatment/​cleaning/​services. Options for treatment plans have been given with multiple options with the pros and cons for each and never trying to push one option over the other.
I have occasionally had to move appointment times due to scheduling conflicts, and while they are steadily booked, I’ve been put on their waiting list for the next available slot and have been squeezed in within a week or two. Their scheduling team does a great job arranging and I even have the option for text and email reminders rather than calls which is great!

I now understand why Dr. Bell gets 5 star reviews on Unilocal.I was skeptical at first, how could he possibly receive all five star reviews and have so many patients that love him?!
Now I understand. He is the real deal. The BEST dentist in North County. A trustworthy, honest, patient, experienced, and awesome dentist (and a surfer). I completely trust him with all of my dental work. He has a gentle touch and explains what is going on while he is working. I’ve never felt pain or anxiety while in his office — which I have had with other dentists. I went to three different dentists when I first got into town, including other highly reviewed practices in North County. Dr. Bell is the best in my opinion!
His office staff is friendly and the hygienist that I have had for my cleanings is very experienced, gentle, and offers great advice on preventative care.
Oh, and Dr. Bell helped me figure out a few reoccurring dental issues I’ve had my entire life — that no other dentist has ever taken the time or interest in actually helping me with. Thank you Dr. Bell and staff! You guys are great!

I can’t give enough praise to Dr Geoffrey Bell and staff. Professional, Compassion, Gentle, Sincere, Honest. Quality work are just a few words that come to mind.
Today I started a crown procedure, Dr Bell takes his time with injections, you don’t feel a thing. Thats a big deal for me!!! I never experience anxiety about going to the dentist anymore.
My family and I have been patient’s for several years now. It’s a great feeling knowing I have found a great dentistry practice. Kudos to Dr Bell and Staff, I know why he’s the number one dentist in North County!
