Dan M brings new life to a 27 year old business, … Chuck’s Tire and Auto Service Center! Dan re-​located to beautiful Carlsbad CA in 2013 and purchased Chucks Tires, a Carlsbad hidden local GEM!

Dan brings a life time of entrepreneurial experience with him, having spent 10 years in Chicago Ill and 20 years in Las Vegas Nevada, heading up several successful long term businesses.

Dan is quick to credit his staff– the team of professionals whom he puts in place when asked how his businesses maintain their high reputations in search engines such as Google and social media sites such as YELP

On my way to LA… and I got the dreaded «low tire pressure» light… pulled off the road and asked my phone to find me a «tire place»…they were amazing… took care of me… and I was back on the road…(did I mention… I really don’t like taking care of Jeep stuff… so glad there was a place to sit, had a TV… and they pulled my Jeep around to the door)…

Amazing all the way around. Found this place because my daughter goes to swim class at Noonan. Knew I needed new tires so the next day I called to get an estimate on tires and a leveling kit. Didn’t know much so the gal told me to come on in and talk to Chuck since he knows it all.
Thought to myself «wait what? Chuck is actually there?»
Went in cause I work down the street. Chuck was there and already knew I was coming in. Chuck is very old school which I like. Knew exactly what tire would look great on my Silverado along with the leveling kit.
Chuck actually has a Rolodex with numbers! For those too young that was how you stored your numbers for businesses you needed to remember pre iPhone. That sold me right there! Chuck was extremely nice and wrote my quote on a piece of paper. For me this sold it. Not only was he not pushy, you could tell right away that he knows his stuff and has been around.
Dropped my truck off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. Blown away how amazing it looks. Tires are unreal and the level made such a difference. My boss was so impressed he is going to move our fleet vehicles to Chuck’s.
I know the review is long and I hope y’all read it all. Can’t say enough on how amazingly nice and knowledgeable the staff was. They make you feel comfortable. I mean how often do you get to talk to the owner of the company and he actually has the time for you.
Recommend Chuck’s to all my coworkers and everyone I know will be going to Chuck’s. Amazing job! Put your money and business in small business!

On the work they did for me recently, they went above and beyond what I was expecting, all at a very reasonable price. Chuck’s Tire Center is the BEST ! ! ! I drove into San Diego from out of town on a busy Wednesday afternoon for a Veteran’s Day Banquet Dinner, and discovered that I had a nail in the left front tire of my Mercedes GL450 SUV, even though it didn’t seem like it was leaking.
I didn’t have much time but knew that it would be risky to continue driving on the highway with that nail, especially during rush hour in San Diego which can get pretty dicey at times.
As busy as he was with collision work, etc., Chuck put some guys on it ASAP and fixed my tire and checked out the three others, all within about 20 minutes, and I had plenty of time to make it to the Veteran’s Day Banquet!
Thanks ever so much, Chuck! I will DEFINITELY be back ! ! !

Made an appointment for wheel alignment. I was given a quote (was quite lower than another place in town and the dealer) and was told I would be in and out within an hour. Went in, gave them my car key and sat down. I noticed they started working on my car within a couple of minutes. After 40 minutes, I was given a printout of the before/​after alignments along with an explanation, paid them what was quoted and was out of there.
My type of car maintenance experience. On time, no hidden fees. Highly recommend.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and woken up to flat tire. We had the kids and grandparents, and were bummed that we would be getting a late start to our vacation. We explained the situation to the friendly staff at Chuck’s at they fixed the flat tire in less than 20 min. We were all grateful that we did not have to spend allot of time waiting and got to spend more time on vacation.

Found these guys while on vacation in Carlsbad, CA, visiting Legoland Park. On the day of our visit, saw my driver’s side rear tire flat. Went to Unilocal to find the nearest tire shop and find Chuck’s Tire and Auto. These guys were so close to the hotel I was staying at, so I put on the spare and headed to their shop.
$ 25 was the cost to repair the tire (a screw punctured it), and probably 20 minutes passed and it was done.
Thanks for being there, Chuck’s Tire & Auto Center! You made sure this vacation drive down here wasn’t a bust.

Traveling fr O.C. to El Cajon, experienced violent front shaking. Checked Unilocal and went direct to Chuck’s Tire Center. Specialist Tim accepted the inquiry on demand and proceeded to diagnose exact issue, remedied specific problem and was on our way with no time lost. I got an appt and they drove me back to my meeting which was nearby. I asked for 2 tires and a 4 wheel alignment. When I came back to get my car they told me they tested my car and that I didn’t need the alignment. Other shops may have done it or not and still charged. Not Chuck’s, they are very honest. They reminded me to come back in 5000 miles for a free tire rotation! Thank you!

Traveling through Carlsbad on business this week and for the 3rd time I have experienced unexpected low tire pressure issues. I figured it was due to going from 107 degree Palm Desert temps to 70 degree coastal temps in the Bay Area and San Diego.
Most tire places where I’ve stopped for assistance just put air in and won’t take the time or be kind enough to investigate. BUT… these nice folks at Chuck’s Tire Center in Carlsbad, CA discovered a bad plug/​patch repair job that was leaking.
Shame on the Palm Desert place that did a crappy job. It’s one of two, not sure which. I’m on the CA Highways a LOT and need good car karma. Chuck’s Auto Repair fixed me up fast and SUPER CHEAP. Really nice folks. Travis runs a first class operation and all of the members of his staff are so helpful and friendly. The place has a family type of feeling. I’d much rather spend my $$$ at a business like this one.
