I like how the everything bagel includes salt, not everyplace has salt on the everything. Also, I like how they coat both side of the bagel with the topping.

Comparable to Einsteines Bagels. Didn’t really notice a difference between the two. Bagels are good and so are the sandwiches. Pricey but tasty.

Love this place! They always have the best fresh bagels! I usually get a smoke salmon on an everything bagel and then I get another jalapeño cheddar bagel because it’s just to good not to have more! Service is fast too!

Went here twice this past weekend. I was house sitting in the area and needed to grab some food and a bagel sounded good. I ordered: — Smoked Salmon Bagel on an Everything Bagel — Orange Juice The 1st day the bagel was so good so I went back the following day, but the lady put way too much cream cheese on it this time. Oh well, still edible. I love lox bagels:)

While the bagels are good and consistent, what I really like is their sandwiches. It’s a little bit pricy, but like I said it is consistently good. I’d give them another star if them help were as consistent, sometimes it’s good other times not so much. As well as you need to get there early, the supply runs out fairly early.

Just looking for a real bagel. Einsteins just down the street was out of most everything so we came here. Love watching them make the bagels fresh. The racks were full. I ordered a cinnamon raisin and an everything, TWICE toasted with butter. Good basic order. I went next door to get my Starbucks coffee, opened up my bagels, took a bite of the raisin first — NO flavor. Zip. Nil. Done with that bagel. Took a bite of the everything, NO flavor, I spit it out. Never ever going back. If you sell bagels then make it taste like a bagel, otherwise what’s the point? They need a new bagel dough recipe or something. Einsteins should learn how to keep their racks full like brueggers does, and brueggers needs to steal einsteins recipes. I’m done and I’m hungry still. Not eating wasted calories.

Seriously what is this place??? Einstein Bagels reject??? You’re better off going to ralph’s, walmart or food 4 less to buy a bag of bagels. It was not busy… 3 employees, 2 customers… why was i in there for 30 mins just to order ice coffee(watered down) and a bacon, egg, cheese bagel(the size of a pop tart, so thin). Sorry not bash this place but i was not a happy camper. Great service though… friendly cheerful staff — but the food, bleh.

The bagels are overall not that bad. I always feel very rushed as a customer. They don’t have a whole wheat everything bagel anymore which is a shame. I’m giving it two stars because the breakfast sandwiches are less than stellar. The egg is usually cold, reminds me of subways breakfast egg. Looks like it’s made from a powder substance. The meat is kept in a small heated tin can. It’s not flavorful whatsoever. I won’t be back. Just too bland for me.

These guys here really are one of a kind. I usually come here twice a week in the mornings and they’ve really learned who am I and what I normally order. They really take the time to learn who you are and even though this is a chain place and not your regular mom/pop breakfast nook, they do treat their customers well.

I love this location! Great bagels, and right by my work. If you want fresh bagels that aren’t too«much» as in too sweet or with too much cream cheese I recommend coming here. This is a notch above the basic bagel and a notch below the dessert diabetic heartattack bagels you can sometimes find. I love me the Asiago cheese bagel with veggie cream cheese and tomato! And for coffee, well there’s a starbucks next door ;-)

These are pretty good bagels, cream cheeses and breakfast sandwiches. Let’s put it this way, once you’ve had a New York bagel it is hard to compare, but anytime I am in San Diego and craving a bagel, these are a pretty good substitute. Can’t beat an everything bagel, lightly toasted with cream cheese!

Bumping this up to a five star — I’m an irresponsible adult and literally never have food at home for breakfast so I come here wayyyy too often and the Monday-Friday staff is so great. They’re always nice to me, and yesterday I was accidentally given a rosemary bagel instead of a plain… Came back this morning and Sammy, who ialways has a great attitude no matter how early it is, replaced it with no problem. He is always friendly even when they’re busy and he needs to be recognized by management!

I like the staff here they are friendly and really hustle and pay attention when you are ordering, something not found at lots of other cheap breakfast places. One issue for Bruegger’s is the ambience is a bit lacking for a coffee/breakfast experience. They play the same 6 – 10 songs from 1984 on their speakers for about the past 4 years. I really enjoy the bagels and some of their fun novel coffee’s like«French Toast», but its quite annoying to hear«Uptown Girl» and«Sledgehammer» over and over again. Variety is fine, but this isn’t relaxing breakfast/coffee shop music. Time to upgrade to pandora in order to compete with the many other strong Café offerings in Encinitas.

Bruegger’s has lots of choices, bagels, bagel sandwiches, bagel spreads, drinks, sandwiches, and they are open 5:30 am to 4 pm. Today they are giving away 3 free bagels from 5:30 am — 11 am if you have the coupon to celebrate their 31 year anniversary. Nice, friendly, staff. Pretty fast service. Only location around North County, used to be one up by the mall near the 78 but that changed to some other bagel place.

If you are catering a lunch and want to keep it as cost effective as possible you can do worse. The catering packs are cheaper than Panera and are better sammys as a whole. Panera doesn’t offer their panini’s for catering so you get stuck with their sad cold sammys. This place also is a great option if you are catering a breakfast. They have a variety of egg and bread choices to please just about anyone who wants to start off the morning right. I cannot comment much of their service as I get delivery from here using another service. I will say that I was pretty disappointed when I got their paper plates that it was actually more of a paper basket that you might get at a food truck and so people didn’t have room for anything but the sammy. Their cookie plate was very overprices and the cookies were of low quality. If I am paying a premium for cookies I don’t want to see a bunch of sugar cookies with sprinkles. Lame. However they are indeed cost effective when catering a simple lunch and I will continue to use them. I will never order their cookie plate again though, I could have faired better by going to a 711 and getting candy bars! Ugh!

It’s a rare day that I eat a bagel so when I do, I want it to be a yummy one. I’ve had plain bagels, breakfast bagels and lunch bagels and all have satisfied my carb-cravings. They have a huge selection of tasty bagels but not anything that falls into the OMG category. They have coffee and Coca-Cola products too. If you go in the morning you can marvel at the bagel-making process. But be aware, the downside to this location is the nutty parking lot. Between half-asleep people looking for their Starbucks’ fix and hungry groups racing to put their name in at Broken Yolk, the parking lot can especially be hazardous on weekend morning. Staff is ok, and I give them extra points for probably waking up at 4am to go to work.

My Unilocal apprentice(wide) and I swung by Bruegger’s Bakery this morning for a quick snack. I needed chicken and she needed coffee. Due to the fact she used to work at a Bruegger’s Bakery(in Boston, Mass,) her biased opinion didn’t mean jack! If you’ve never been, Bruegger’s is a bagel shop similar to Noah’s Bagels. They serve a variety of home-made bagels as well as sandwiches and fruit. My associate had a Poppy Seed bagel with original cream cheese; both items are made in-house. The bagel and cream cheese were very good. I wouldn’t say it was«AMAZING» but pretty damn good! I had the pesto chicken panini. The chicken was moist and the bread was fresh. However, the pesto tasted like something out of a can and the cheese greased up the whole sandwich. Overall, it was ok. Nothing to rave about people. Would I go again? Yes. But I would stick to bagels. It may have been my fault getting a panini at a bagel shop. I felt the dip-shit who gets chicken at a seafood restaurant. LOL
