History

Established in 1999.

Our company was founded by Daniel Mezich in 1999 and we began in the landscape construction industry. We became involved in Shade Sails in 2000 and our business has been growing ever since. We specialize in residential and commercial installations and have done work across the State of California. We have done work for the Federal Government, State and local governments as well. We now manufacture our shade sails in San Diego for a faster and more accurate fit.

Business Owner

Daniel Mezich was born in Seattle, Washington and attended College at UCLA and San Diego State getting a degree in Business Management and Film. He worked for a fortune 100 company after graduation and worked in the sales division.

After 3 years he decided to start his own business and became a General Contractor, and that let him to shade sails. He now is the owner of SoCal Shade Sails and runs the day to day operations as well as the sales calls.
