Ocean Glow Custom Airbrush Tanning

Elsye is wonderful because she enjoys her work and is superb at spray tanning! I always come out looking like I have been kissed by the sun because it looks so natural. She is very personable and you feel comfortable right away. She takes the time to know you, your needs, exactly what type of tan you are looking for. I highly recommend ocean glow for the best spray tan around!

This is a long overdue review since I’ve been so busy, but Elyse is amazing at what she does. I came in for a custom airbrush tan before a wedding and she gave me the most beautiful, customized spray tan that looked like I just came back from a tropical paradise. No streaks, no weird brown, blotchy hands, and she even contoured my bust and abs. I have silver hair so the bronze color she picked out for me looked amazing. Thank you again Elyse for your beautiful spirit and amazing skills.

I’ve always tanned the traditional way and was a little apprehensive getting a spray tan because of concern that I’d be stuck with results I didn’t like. However, I was impressed with Elyse’s professionalism and careful consideration, taking time to review my options, giving me her expert advise about what would look best for my skin tone, hair color, eye color, etc. to make sure I ended up with the most natural looking tan for me. The color was amazing and the coverage was perfect. Truly a custom tan! I highly recommend going to Elyse, she’ll make you feel comfortable and you’ll walk out knowing your tan is perfect!

My first airbrush tan and I decided to do it the day before New Years (fingers crossed!) and Elyse made me feel SO COMFORTABLE thought the whole process. She took her time and was an absolute perfectionist while spraying me! Thank goodness! I now have a very natural looking tan and am ready for that short nye dress! Small studio so your not in there with anyone else like the big salons #judgementaljudys and was very reasonably priced. A+++ from me!

Elyse, the owner is amazing. I have been getting flawlessly sprayed by her for a short time now but she is Phenomenal! No streaking or horrible smell afterwards. She’s very professional and makes me feel very comfortable as this can be an uncomfortable procedure lol. She is always prompt and flexible as well. I had my spray tan session with Elyse and she was awesome!!! She did a great job explaining the process (being a first timer and all). I knew I wanted to get a spray tan before I left on vacation to Mexico, so I made an appointment at Ocean Glow based on all of the great Unilocal reviews. I was not disappointed! Elyse was professional, friendly and listened to exactly what I wanted! She made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire appointment and was so easy to talk to! She even sent me a follow up text message the next day to make sure I was happy with the color :) My tan turned out amazing and the color lasted throughout my entire trip! I will definitely be coming back for all of my future spray tanning needs! Thank you so much Elyse!

I found Laura through Groupon and have been so impressed. Her spray tan solutions are organic and definitely set better than any other salons I have been too, they also have a very very mild smell in comparison to other airbrush solutions. Laura has the best customer service and response time. It makes it so easy that I can just text her quickly to get an appointment.
I have had several airbrush tans before (close to 50) and Laura is by far my favorite. Not only does she make you feel comfortable, but the tan is amazing! I have very light skin and am a natural red head, but because she has so many different colors/​tones, my tan still looks totally natural.
Go see her! You won’t regret it. :)

Laura was absolutely wonderful! I only had a couple days left to get ready for my wedding and wanted to get a little tan going. I was concerned about it not coming out well before my big day, but she sat with me for awhile, alleviated my concerns, and we came out with the best color combination for my needs. She’s very attentive and the quality of the tan was unbelievable! Exactly what I wanted and customized to me. I got a nice little brown glow (compared to the pasty white that I once was! hehe). I’m ready to rock my wedding and feel so much better thanks to Laura!

I highly recommend Laura. She is great! She has a book of past clients so you can take a look at how the color turns out prior to getting your tan. The customer service is very personable and makes you feel comfortable. It’s also very easy to book an appointment on the website and you get a discount for first time customers. I’ve been to a few tanning salons and this one is so far on top my list.

Love! The best spray tan I’ve ever gotten, and very affordable. Laura is so nice and makes you feel very comfortable. She goes above and beyond making sure that your hands, feet, etc don’t get stained. I also love her formula, it’s not as sticky as some of them can be. I got a great color from her darkest formula, and it’s not orange at all which other places can be. She does a great consultation before you spray to make sure you get the color you’re happy with and that’s best for your skin tone. I also find that she sprays in a way that gets all the little crevasses so you don’t have under boob, or butt lines :) I came in on a 3 tan groupon but I will definitely keep coming after that’s done. She also had a rapid spray so you can shower after an hour which I want to try out.

First of all, the studio is so cute! Laura, the tanologist, is extremely welcoming and does a consultation with you before you even step foot into the tanning room. You fill out an information form and she provides you with tons of helpful information on how to maintain your tan as long as possible.
After that, she used her iPad to match me with colors. This was my first experience with that, and I have done custom airbrush tanning at my OC locations. She is also the only tanologist that I know of that offers both «warm» and «cool» tones. It was really refreshing to know that she is so well-​researched in her field to find the best color to match each of her unique clients’ skin needs.
The airbrush tanning is done super quick as well! You can be in and out of there in about 15 – 20 minutes tops. She also offers shimmer bronzer powder after to allow the tan to set.
Her Aliso Viejo location has ample parking and is extremely easy to navigate to.
The most important thing to me is for my tan to be completely even. Laura takes great care to cover all the difficult areas — hands, feet, sides of body, etc. She is extremely thorough and I am super happy with my results — perfect for my upcoming vacation to give me that natural glow I was looking for.
Prices are competitive and website is extremely easy to navigate and book an appointment.

My FIRST Spray Tan experience. It was very positive. I was very comfortable with Laura. I am older (55+), and the spray tan looks great. My Age Spots are far less noticeable!
I choose to do Arms, Leg, and Face areas… not whole body. Was perfect. Look forward to next session.

I had never had a spray tan before, but a Groupon brought me in here and I immediately knew I had come to a professional. Laura was thorough, made sure I didn’t crease my skin, and even tanned me without an appointment. She was also very friendly and personable, and she took very good care to spray my skin in feathery motions to contour my body. She gave me information on discounts and things like that before I left. Then she texted me the next day to follow up!
