Overall terrible experience. Arrived around 7:30, seated quickly and initial order of soft drinks and water was taken care of in a reasonable time. Placed our food order around 7:45. Entrees finally arrived at 8:20. They had obviously been under the heat lamps and /or microwaved. Wasted and hour and $ 50 for some very unremarkable reheated food that we didn’t even finish.

a big disappointment I would eat here every so often in 2014. rich boswell would wait on me most times. I would eat the hamburger and French fries. I would always wait long time for my food. each time the food would be ok. nothing remarkable just average each time. the last time I ate here my waiter was stacy king. she was bad. I will not be back I will go to the Massillon one

I can’t thank the staff enough! We went here last weekend. I did the call ahead seating and explained that we were bringing in a special needs child and that we may or may not need a little extra assistance. When we got there it was very crowded with a line out the door. We only had to wait about 5 mins for our table. Our waitress(Jennifer S) was fabulous! And when we needed to modify an order in a way most restaurants have always refused, she jumped right on making it happen. A side order of chicken tenders isn’t that much to ask for. She was able to charge us by the piece which totally worked for our needs. All the food was really good and hot. Came in a timely manner. We didn’t feel rushed or neglected in anyway. One of our best chain restaurant outgoings with the help of the staff. Thank you! :)

Whaaaaaat?! Cam’s rating an applebees high?! Why yes I am. Before my Unilocal homies crucify me(good luck getting my fat ass up on that cross, by the way) let me explain. The food here at this specific location is awesome. It’s not the usual, vomit inducing presentation and awfully mixed drinks. The quesadilla I ordered was fresh, and had some authentic tasting spices. My steak was cooked right, which instantly earns my applause. Ordering steak at a non-steak centric chain is like taking the fat girl home from the club: could be suprisingly awesome, but will probably just be dissappointing enough to not even finish. I have low standards so I always finish. Let that one sink in. Lol, my taste in women aside, this place is a shining star in the applebees chain: clean, staffed with people who care(or at least don’t suck enough to show that they don’t care), and full of good food and drink. This should be the standard for all applebees. Maybe this chain wouldn’t have such a shit rep if that was the case.

There were cobwebs in the corner and our table was strangely sticky, I think it was the varnish on the table being old and it is sticky now. Our waitress was amazingly good. Seems like it has become somewhat of a codger place or maybe I just never noticed it before but I think the clientel has become a good bit older.

Stopped in for lunch last week. The server was professional, and the place was clean. The salad and sandwich I ordered were both very good as was my wife’s meal. No complaints here. We will be back. If the prices were more reasonable, they would get 5 stars.

We’re in a rut when it comes to restaurants, so last nite we decided to try Applebee’s again; hadn’t been in years. We had a 25min. wait, which for a Sat. isn’t bad, I guess. I ordered Kiwi ice tea, as I’ve never had it before. Little flavor and cloyingly sweet. Ordered their signature quesadilla burger. It sounded so flavorful on the menu. Bland! except for an excessive amount of salt! And the fries tasted frozen. Bob ordered a steak, medium. Came out cooked to death. He was almost half way thru before the waitress asked how everything was. She did offer another steak, but B. declined. They did take it off the bill, so that was nice. If all their food is this bad, WHY is this place so popular?!

My wife and I shared some wings that were pretty tasty. Service was pretty good, not necessarily great. I can’t really get too excited about a national chain though. I’ve become someone who enjoys the local, independent restaurants so much more. The only reason I go is to get half price appetizers after 10 pm. Otherwise, I recommend trying something else.

my team and myself were in town on business and we stopped in a few times for drinks after work. every time we ordered it took forever, I gave our server my id and she laughed and then promptly served one of my underage employees at another table. they served us blue moon as coors light, our appetizers came out cold when they finally came out and the steak my boss ordered wasn’t cooked to order(medium came out very medium rare) so she sent it back. they obviously just cooked the same steak which I know for a fact is a health code violation and then it came back extremely well done. our server did offer to see if she could get it off the bill however I feel that it should have been automatically taken off. the cherry on top was the auto gratuity added to a party of 5 when we had already been in earlier that week and tipped very well. I feel that that was quite a slap in the face for how much money we willingly spent there. I know I will never return and neither will anyone in my team, which stinks for them because half my team is from Ohio.

My fiancé has several food alergies so we are limited on where we can go or what she can eat. We usually eat at Applebees pretty regularly and they are very accomodating. The food is usually really good but there have been a few occassions where I thought it was a little over cooked. The restaurant has always been clean and I can not remember a time where I have recieved poor service. They offer a wide selection of menu items including a kids menu. For people on a diet they offer five meals under 550 calories as well as five weight watchers options with point values listed on the menu ranging from 8 to 13 pointsplus. Finally they offer curb-side to go service allowing you to call in an order and pick it up without having to get out of your car. They usually run daily drink specials with our favorite one being the one for Long Island Ice Tea. I believe that the days this is on special is Tuesday’s and Friday’s but we also found out today that this is made with premixed alcohol. For less than a dollar you can request to get the top shelf alcohol which is mixed at the bar and worth the extra money.
