Had a great time! Had a party of 8, so we split into two rafts. Guides were lots of fun. We wish we had a few more rapids, but water level was high. The scenery was beautiful and our guides were quite knowledgable. Would book again with this crew.

We went on our very first white water raft trip today with Lost Paddles and it was awesome! The lady who booked us over the phone was informative and super nice. Once checked in we got suited out in wetsuits and splash jackets, the staff all very helpful! Our guide was Blake and he was awesome! The trip was incredible! Fun, beautiful scenery but mostly adrenalin packed and exciting! We lucked out and had the boat to just my husband and I along with the guide and two guides in training, all fantastic. Will be back to Lost Paddles for future trips for sure!

Just got done with the royal Gorge overnight! The whole process was amazing! From the beginning Jim & Kelly responded to all of the groups questions that day or the next. Drove in from Texas the day before, hotels to stay at in Canon City. Our guide Derrick was awesome at EVERYTHING i. e: guiding, cooking (breakfast & dinner!), knowledge of history of the Arkansas river. I would definitely do rafting with Lost Paddle again! Additionally we checked out Manitou incline, rainbow falls, and the city of Colorado Springs!

We can’t say enough about our wonderful experience with our guide Derrick and the Lost Paddle team. We rafted the Big Horn section of the Arkansas and it was a blast. We did cannonballs into the river and hit some unexpected level 4s (there had just been rain). Derrick made us feel confident but didn’t take the adventure out of the trip. I’m always nervous because my daughter is a daredevil. Derrick calmed my nerves but made sure Viv had her thrills on the river. She was ready to take on class 5s! Can’t wait to go rafting with this crew again! There may be bigger outfitters but there are none better!

Small company that makes your trip worth your money! Blake was an amazing guide down the Royal Gorge, had fun but he kept us safe as he was very experienced. Jumping off the cliff into the river was an awesome experience, you really get a feel of a powerful of a small current. We watched another company, come in to jump from the cliff and they gave their customers no guidance. We watched an older guys life vest go over is head, before we jumped in ours were tightened again by the guide and they gave us directions on wear to swim through the current. They make it a very personal trip, and we were lucky to go during high waters to enjoy the ride! If your going to go whitewater rafting pick Lost Paddle!

Great time on the River! We did the Bighorn Sheep Canyon ½ day because we had some younger paddlers. The team at Lost Paddle was friendly and excited about our trip from the moment we pulled in the parking lot. Emily was the guide in my raft. Her skill and passion for the outdoors made for a great trip. They even gave me a credit for one of our party who was sick and couldn’t make the trip. I’ll definitely be back (and would still be back even without the credit).

We had two great experiences in August 2014. First, we had never been white water rafting so as a family (with 2 teens) on vacation, we were eager but a tiny bit nervous. Day one, smaller rapids — it was great! Our guide was fun and we learned a lot. In fact, we had so much fun we called the next morning and booked for the bigger rapids! We were ready and it was a blast. The family who owns and operates this business is completely professional, licensed and very nice and accommodating ensuring we had an absolute awesome experience both times!
On our second tour on the bigger rapids, our guide named Emily too was great! She guided us through some rough areas and made it fun for all of us. Hope we can make it back to Colorado soon to do it again.

My husband and I did the Royal Gorge half day white water rafting trip and had a great time. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Blake was the guide on our boat and did a great job getting us through some hairy sections of the course. When they say you should be in reasonably good shape to raft the Gorge, they mean it. I had only gone on a low level rafting trip before so I was a little intimidated by the class ¾ rapids but Blake got us through the tough parts without a scratch. I wish we could do it again because this was my favorite part of our vacation.

Amazing place. The building itself was kind of a hole but the people were really nice. When we were on the river we found out that this place allows you to swim AND jump off some ricks along the river. I’m not sure about all the other companies but the Echo Canon one wouldn’t hardly let the people out of their rafts much less jump off the big rocks! It was a really good time with this company. We did the Royal Gorge segment for a half day and it costs $ 62 per person.
