Over the years I’ve gotten two collapsible hoops and they are incredible! The fit between sections is spot on, they look great, and are a joy to hoop. I’m saving my pennies to get some more fun hoops from here.

so happy! their website has so much to offer in terms of styles, materials, weights, sizes, colors and so on! i love that you can really choose exactly what you want. i got a 3 sectioned yellow, teal and sparkly silver travel hoop with an extra 2 inch practice section. super customizable. they answered my email really quickly, and even put a bit of a rush on making it when i mentioned that i was hoping to take it with me on a weekend festival trip. i picked it up in person and nessia gave me a total run down on proper care for the collapsible hoops. fair priced, high quality, nice people. :)

I really enjoyed taking hooping classes with Trinity Starr. The teachers are patient but don’t let you slack off, which is important to me. Just finished my first quarter of intro hoop class with Nessia of TrinityStar Hoops at Quinlan Community Center in Cupertino, CA! It was so fun! Nessia is a kind and supportive teacher who clearly loves what she does. I learned so much I can’t remember it all but suffice to say I can hoop –at least a little — in all different ways and styles. There is so much creativity and fun using hoops. Hooping is the best Core workout ever, yet the time flies by. I am always shocked when the hour of class is over. Love it! Thanks Nessia!

Nessia and Ron are THE hooping people to get to know if you live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Heck, even if you live anywhere else, you can still buy their gorgeous, durable hoops… but if you live anywhere near the South Bay, you simply MUST attend one of their hoop jams, or one of Nessia’s many hoop classes offered throughout the Bay Area.
Having done all of the above myself, I can honestly say they really make hooping so fun and accessible. We already have several regular starter hoops from them, but I’m ready to jump into a polypro soon, and expand beyond simple waist hooping, and I know Nessia and Ron will get me there. All while having a blast of a time!

Ron and Nessia are incredible entrepreneurs! Their hoops are top quality and I couldn’t be happier with mine! I love that they allow you to order custom dimensions/​weights, so that there is something for everyone — even a beginner like myself! These hoops are super durable and have put up with some hard use on my end.
Not only are their hoops amazing quality, but their monthly hoop jams are simply the greatest! The crowd of people there is fantastic and it is so easy to make new friends. Plus, there’s always a multitude of different flows at their jams, so if you don’t hoop that’s okay! If you’re in the South Bay Area, these jams are a definite must!

I have taken several hoop classes from Nessia and Ron. I’m just a beginner and they have amazing patience with me and also very encouraging. I even purchased 2 hoops from them which I LOVE! I share their classes and website with friends all the time. I only wish I could find the time to take more classes myself. Hopefully this summer I get my hoop on again.

I have many hoops from many hoop makers and my best hoops that are my everyday go to hoops are from TrinityStarr Hoops. I loved that I was able to customize every aspect of it! Size, Colors, Weight, Connectors. I was able to create the perfect hoop for myself and my size that was great for both body and hand hooping. Ron & Nessia are really helpful and informative in guiding me on what features would be best for me. I was able to have them build my hoop so that it could break down into pieces that would fit in my suitcase so I could easily bring it with me when I travel. When the hoops I had from another companies or homemade started to fall apart, they were able to repair and strengthen them for me too.

I have only taken classes from Nessia for about a month but have already become obsessed with it! And I have also purchased 2 hoops from her. Being a beginner I tend to either hit myself or toss me hoop on the ground. Her hoops are quality made for sure :) as far as teaching goes she is also amazing at that! Very helpful and always willing and ready to answer any questions I have, which is good because I’m kind of a «why» kid =-P

Nessia and Ron are a dynamic hooping duo. They have such patients and creativity in every class. The hoops they create are gorgeous high quality. If you break your hoop, which I have too often, they are quick to fix it. Great business great people

Nessia is a very generous and patient instructor. She is constantly introducing new elements, but takes the time to work with those who are new or are struggling to pick up new moves. The music is great and she makes it look easy, which makes me want to work all that much harder to get better at hooping.
She also makes gorgeous custom hoops in almost any color and tape combination. They are very sturdy and nice looking.
Her classes are fun, but she is very professional, too. She has never been late and really keeps things on track. She knows ahead of time exactly what she wants to cover in each session and she regularly reviews things she has already taught so that the class does not just learn a move and then never practices it again.

Very happy with their work. Own 3 TrinityStar hoops now, and one of them is my primary hoop. Great workmanship and design! Also, highly recommend their classes. A+!

I have purchased two collapsible hoops from Trinity Star Hoops thus far, and I can safely say that I will continue to purchase from them again and again and again.
I have been hooping for a little over two years, and as hooping/​hoop dance has gained popularity, there has been a propensity for various new hoopmakers to open stores and sell cheap products in an effort to gain both instant popularity and quick profit in the hooping community. These people have sold cheap, poorly made, ineffective products – and the industry has become muddled with second rate hacks that provide less-​than-​desired customer service.
Thank god for Trinity Star Hoops! This is a store that is truly professional and has an unparalleled reputation amongst the best hoopers in the hooping community because it was created by one of the best in the hooping community. Personally, I knew of Nessia as an expert hooper and workshop teacher before I knew about their store.
I have purchased two collapsible hoops from their store so far: the first being a 33−35″ ¾″ blue 4-​piece polypro hoop (with 2″ connector piece) which served as an excellent beginner/​intermediate and onbody hoop, and the second being a 30−32″ 5/​8″ orange 3-​piece polypro hoop (again with 2″ connection piece). When I purchased my second hoop, Trinity Star was the only reputable company that sold quality collapsible hoops – particularly using polycarbonate connection pieces – for the cheapest price, including shipping. The fact that they add the option for a 2″ connection piece – I mean, there’s no other way to beat that deal! You get two hoops for the price of one!
I am utterly in love with my orange collapsible hoop, and have started to become convinced that it has magical powers. There is something about it, possibly the ever-​so-​slight added weight from the tiny polycarb connectors, that gives it that «oomph» and resilience that my normal 1-​piece polypros just don’t have. It has just the right amount of weight and added momentum to get through some of the tougher moves, like horizontal elbow passes. The sanded texture makes it a dream to one-​leg hoop with. I can collapse it down and stick it in my yoga bag with a mat, or in my backpack and take it with me to work to hoop during my lunch breaks. I have used both hoops on concrete, abused them with drops and backspins, and they have come away with nothing but love scratches that just add to the texture and grip.
On one occasion, after 1 year of use, a connection piece in my blue hoop snapped when I did a wedgie – this was after letting a complete beginner friend use it for several weeks, which probably added considerable stress to the hoop – and when I told Ron and Nessia, they offered to fix it for free and pay for the shipping! Folks, you can’t beat that kind of customer service! No questions, no attitude problems, just plain, good ol’ customer service and understanding. I was so delighted that I bought a second hoop from them. I believe they fixed my first hoop and made my second AND shipped both hoops within a week of the order.
If you are not familiar with hoop construction, multi-​piece collapsible hoops are incredibly difficult to make; and many of these new hoopsmiths apparently are having trouble making just single push-​button rivet hoops. I have seen countless horror stories posted about people getting wonky hoops because the two ends of their hoop do not connect in a streamlined manner. I have never had to even remotely worry about my orders from Trinity Star – which is the way an order (of any kind) should be.
If you want to have a quality hoop that you can take anywhere, made by a reputable company with great customer service and hoopsmiths who truly care and will appreciate you as a customer, and provide a completely worry-​free order – then Trinity Star is your store!

I just started hooping July 2014, and I instantly fell in love! From that moment, I took classes from Nessia and Ron and I’ve purchased myself 3 hoops. In addition, I’ve gotten friends and family interested in hooping and they have purchased their own hoops from TrinityStarr Hoops. I love the different types of hoops. I love that Ron and Nessia were able to merge their passion for hooping into a business. I first heard of their hoops from a friend who was constantly raving about their high quality and reasonable prices. Since I’m a local, I opted out for shipping and emailed the two about ordering a hoop. They were quick to respond and totally cool with pick up. Even though the color tubing I wanted wasn’t available, their great customer service made up for it! A few days later I drove to their house to pick up the hoop, and I was absolutely in love! I got a UV clear 30″ polypro with 5/​8″ tubing. The sanding inside is one of the most well done that I’ve ever seen. If you know anything about me me, then you will know that I am kind of obsessed with hula hoops :) Ron and Nessia run TrinityStarr Hoops in the South Bay and they are a huge presence in the hooping community in that area. Ron and Nessia throw some really awesome and fun flow jams, and Nessia teaches beginner and intermediate classes to boot.
Their hoops are really well made and they put lots of care into every one that they make. I’ve watched Ron sand down the tubing between each connector with so much precision and focus. Most hoop makers don’t put that much detail into their hoops and it shows when you are using them.

Awesome classes and you fit right in no matter your ability. Fun and their hoops are so amazing. Your color or style is their priority. I’m having trouble getting it but they have kept encouraging and giving hints. Really fun group of varied people.

Ron responded quickly to my e-​mails regarding size, width and number of sections for my two PolyPros. He also helped me select a great color combination, as the colors on the web sometimes are not representative of the true colors of tape.
I was pleasantly surprised they came so quickly. I love the gold and silver sparkly Polypros and have already recommended this group to my friends. I will order the thinner polypros when I get m ore advanced. They are also pretty easy to assemble/​disassemble.
