Signature Custom Framing

Love this place! My daughters go to Marvegos art school and mommy keeps forgetting or gets busy and needs their art framed ASAP for their show. Three years in a row I’ve been very happy with Signature Framing. Can’t complain about the prices and the service is great. Very good people there, I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I needed a special concert and ticket framed for a bday present and went here! Very friendly and professional office. They had a large assortment of mats and frames so I got to pick out exactly what I wanted. The end result was beautiful, it’s a piece beautifully preserved, my guy will always cherish it and the memories.

Excellent service in person, by phone, and email. Very happy with the quality and attention to detail. When I first dropped in, another customer was picking up her custom frame order. There was a tiny scratch. She was totally OK with it, but the shop insisted that it be re-​done. I was very impressed. Will definitely be going back. I am late in posting this review, but have given many recommendations by word of mouth. Thank you!

Signature framing offers museum glass and archival matting for high end work. Owner has a great eye. Pricing is very reasonable and service is fast and friendly.

I had a wonderful experience with Signature Custom Framing. I brought 4 pieces in and Daysan worked with me with great care to get me the exact blend of function, style, and affordability that I was looking for. He made his entire process very clear, did as he said down to the letter, and was a pleasure to work with. I’m very happy with the results and the price compared to other framing I’ve had done and will be using Signature for my framing needs from here on.

No tricks, no sales techniques, this is what I call excellent service. Dayson, the owner and the designer, greeted us promptly with a welcoming smile, spent well over an hour explaining various options, designs, and difference in prices according to quality, and at the end, we were able to make a well informed decision without pressure – which I really appreciate. He was extremely knowledgeable in his trade and he truly understood our need and respected our limited budget without condescension. He was also very accommodating, by offering to meet us on Sunday for pick up since it was the only convenient day for us. As far as service and prices, my husband and I noticed a huge difference between Signature Custom Framing and small local boutiques and even big chain stores.

I had two pieces of artwork, both with long lengths that needed framing. I was on a tight budget and was finding it difficult to find framing at an affordable price with quality materials, i.e. not Plexiglas and composite framing. I called Signature Custom Framing and they said they could work within my budget. I just picked up the two pieces. Dayson did a great job. The framing looks beautiful, with real glass and wood framing. I will be coming back for my future framing needs.

Working with Daysan was a pleasure! He is patient and knowledgeable and creative. He gave us all the time we needed to choose frames for 9 or so paintings and we are happy with every one of them. Daysan kept us informed when there was a delay in receiving materials and kindly delivered the artwork to our home once it was completed. I highly recommend his work — He is professional, artistic and easy to work with!

Based on numerous positive reviews, we sought out this establishment, for a set of prints we wanted to have framed. I say «sought out» because it’s somewhat off the beaten path and takes some time and trouble to find.
The front door is adjacent to the desk of the proprietor, Daysan, who was sitting there when we entered. It was obvious that we had entered, yet he sat at his desk for some time, without acknowledging our presence. I should probably have understood that to be a sign that, for whatever reason, we were not welcome there and simply followed my wife’s intuitive sense that we leave. But I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. It’s possible that someone could be so absorbed in thought that he would not acknowledge a customer promptly. In addition to that, it had taken us considerable time to locate this store and I was reluctant to write off that investment in time and energy.
Eventually, Daysan acknowledged our presence, to walk over to where we were waiting/​standing, at a large work island near the entrance, to reprimand me for setting down my light piece of cardboard on that island because there was something else that had been placed there. Now, if a customer is going to be kept waiting, it’s only natural that he will use the counter space to set something down, especially if what he sets down is immaculately clean and weighs no more than a few sheets of paper. If the owner does not want anything placed on something that is resting on that counter, he should either not leave it there OR he should promptly acknowledge the arrival of a new customer, especially when there are no other customers present.
I ignored the reprimand, which was made in a rather exaggerated fashion (complete with dramatic hand gestures and facial expressions), and proceeded to explain what we wanted, after I was finally asked. As I explained our straightforward scenario, instead of ever looking at my mock-​up/​prototype, Daysan simply gazed at me mockingly. He showed me no frames or mats and when I asked about options for glass, he pointed me to a wall display and proceeded, sarcastically, to talk about how I was not obliged to buy anything if it were not in my budget. This entire ridiculous response proceeded, all the way through to getting a quote, which was also done with mocking flourish (at least he was consistent!).
Finally, as we were about to depart and I revealed that we had come through Unilocal,Daysan tried to back track somewhat, explaining that he had been surprised to see us because he generally only gets large commercial customers coming to his shop. He doesn’t get walk-​in retail customers, he claimed, because consumers don’t know about him and don’t know where to find him. Nice try but if that were the case, he wouldn’t have a couple dozen reviews on Unilocal.And even if he were genuinely surprised to see us initially, he could at least have behaved decently after learning that we were not a large commercial customer.
Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere (the job I had come to ask about and several others), to Morita’s Picture Framing, also in Campbell, where we have been very pleased in all respects.

I really like the customer service they have here. I brought a frame to get it fix and they were very professional and the prices are very competitive. I will definitely be coming back if I have to.

Excellent service by owner and framing artist Dayson. I am a general contractor who does bath and kitchen remodels. I needed a fast fast turn around on 2 custom mirrors needed for a clients odd shaped bathroom that I just completed. Researching and going to these big box semi custom stores were out of the question. 3 to 4 week lead time for the frames not including mirrors and at outrageous prices.
Dayson took my order late during one day and 24 hrs later I was picking them up and installing in my clients bathroom an hour later. THUMBS UP TO Dayson and his expertise in custom framing. Will definately recommend his business and use him for other future projects… I attached a few photos to show how great the turned out…

Five stars for sure! Great service, great quality, and the prices are more than reasonable compared to big chain stores, even with their big discount coupons. They are very nice here too, and very oriented to quality and detail. I’ve worked mostly with Daysan. He’s been so helpful and a really pleasant person to work with.

I brought in 2 pieces to be framed that were quite different but needed to coordinate with each other. Dyson helped me find the perfect frame that worked for both pictures and i love them!
Cant wait to have more items framed and matted in the future.

I love Signature Custom Framing! They always deliver what they promise and are helpful and kind. As a professional artist I rely on ethical competent service business to assist me when I need help. Signature always backs me up and gives me the best service ever! I trust them with my art work and their creative eye in both matting and framing my art. It has been a joy to work with them for over 6 years now.

I was despairing that getting a painting put on stretcher bars would cost me $ 270 (Michael’s) or $ 250 (Aaron Brothers). I found Dayson’s business through Unilocal and he charged me $ 70 for the same job and he got it back to me in 1 day. Yes, his price was 75% less than the chains, and the chain stores were also quoting me a 2 week turnaround, I am soooo happy with the result and recommend him to anyone considering framing.

They did a great job making multiple frames for me in a given size. Daysan spent time to make samples so we could get it exactly right. I would use them again.

We worked with Daysan to create framed bathroom mirrors. He was very patient with us, as we took multiple visits for us to decide. We couldn’t decide bewteen wood or metal frames, between thin or thick stock, flat or curved profiles. Daysan gladly kept obtaining samples for us to look at and take home for us to see them in our rooms.
We love our mirrors. There were many unexpected touches that we didn’t even know we needed, like perfectly finished mitered edges and black painting behind the mirror edges.
Daysan was knowledgeable and his service was exemplary. We were pleasantly surprised to find a large selection of frames at Signature Custom Framing’s small shop than at the large chain framing stores.
With all of this service and quality finished product, Signature’s prices were extremely reasonable and significantly lower than the chain stores.
Anytime we or friends have framing needs, we will definitely go to Signature again!

I first came to Signature after seeing their ad in the yellow pages around 10 years ago — called and asked if they also do retail and they said «yes — please come in and we would be happy to help you». I had a few pieces of art that I just did not trust the folks at Aaron or Michaels etc. to guide me on colors and frames — and boy was I happy with the results and price that Signature gave me!
This week had 2 new pieces to frame and they did not dissapoint me — owner and manager were both in — manager gave me great ideas, options and looked carefully at one piece that was framed in the 1980’s to see if anything could be retained to save a few dollars (i.e. the original mats that were still a good color for the new framing).
While I was in they had been working on another project to frame several sport jerseys for a business and another couple came in to frame several pieces made out of cloth — I glanced at what was being recommended for matting and loved it myself — these guys know their stuff but with a nice friendly style.
