Awesome service! This is a great small family-​owned business. We took in a couple pictures for framing as a gift. The owner was so helpful and really considerate of our budget. She even made suggestions based on the fact that it had to be shipped out of state. The finished product was done beautifully and in a timely manner considering we brought it in just before Christmas! I’ve already recommended this place to others, and will definitely use their services in the future.

Susan did a wonderful job of framing a collection of prints for us. From beginning to end, the experience was entirely positive.
We found her level of professionalism, as well as her sense of aesthetics, to be more than a cut above the rest.
As far as cost is concerned, this aspect actually compared quite favorably with other establishments that supposedly offered more economical solutions (especially when quality is taken into consideration).

It is so fun picking out frames with Susan. She is always a supportive, patient and enthusiastic partner in the process. I’ve been going to Morita’s for 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Having a beautiful home is important to me and their frames are always the final touch to my pieces of art.

Susan was so kind and really helped me to select the materials that would compliment a playbill I wanted framed for my bf’s birthday. She suggested a few options, but never once did I feel like she was trying to up-​sell me.
Let’s face it. custom framing is not cheap. So if you’re going to get something framed, why not get it done at a place that provides excellent service and an even better end-​product?

So happy to have discovered this shop — we have had several items framed there, and they do outstanding work. Susan has a great eye for presenting artwork of many different forms/​styles, and just the right amount of patience to help you sort through the options and make a good decision. (We should probably even start asking her opinion before we buy new artwork!)

This place is just great. Super good service and excellent prices. I live in Los Gatos but I come for framing. I took my son’s college diplomas here and Susan was very helpful picking out the frames and matting. I came back for some art that I needed framing just before the holidays. Some how she got it done in time.
I recommend Morita’s for any framing you need. Much better service than the big box options. Keep our local small businesses thriving.

Got some artwork framed here a number of years ago. I recently needed some new framing work done and was concerned that as a small, quality business, this might have closed. Happy to report Morita’s Picture Framing is still open, and doing excellent work.

It is always such a delight to enter this store with its calm, creative energy and peace. Nothing fancy just a very creative person who is so easy to work with. I entrust my treasures and come back satisfied every single time. Thank you for the joy of working with someone who appreciates my opinion but gently offers the best!

Here is an example of how going the extra mile makes all the difference in the world. I work for a well known and highly collected artist in Las Vegas. We have a collector in the San Jose area that had an issue with their framing and needed it replaced. After speaking with Susan I found she was very knowledgable and more than willing to accomodate our needs.
She was provided the collector’s information and reach out to him to make the arrangements to switch out the damaged frame for the new frame that we shipped to her. She has followed up with me every step of the way! The prject hasn’t even been completed and I can already tell you the work will be flawless and the end reslut we be exactly what I needed.
Knowing that you can trust some to handle your needs from afar is always a gamble. I don’t feel this way with Morita’s, I know I will use Morita’s for any future framing needs!

I tried Morita’s due to the positive Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed. I bought a custom framed newspaper clipping and it looks superb.

Morita’s framed my grandmother’s kimono, a family keepsake of great sentimental value. They helped me to pick the perfect matte and frame, and did an absolutely beautiful job. Highly recommend for their professionalism and expertise.

Awesome recommendations for my photography. Awesome matting. Awesome mounting. Pricey, but worth every penny.

This year I received three posters as gifts and one as a Kickstarter reward. I figured I ought to do something to protect them and show them off. I found Morita’s via Unilocal,and I’m glad I did!
We went with custom metal frames, the same style but a different color for each. I could have bought much cheaper frames and framed them myself, but they wouldn’t have looked nearly so great, and I know these frames will last a lot longer. Possibly longer than I will!
It’s funny, I’ve been to the same strip mall to go to a pet store but never noticed Morita’s Framing.
I will definitely recommend them do anyone who wants professional framing done.

We have been using this business for years and always come away impressed with the «old style» concern and craftsmanship by the staff and/​or owners.
Can’t compare them to any other framing establishment in the area as «why go anywhere else?».
Their prices are reasonable and the staff are super patient and helpful.

This is my first Unilocal review, and I signed up mostly so I could post about how happy I am with the framing work they did. I came here based on the recommendations of other Unilocalers, and couldn’t agree more with all the positive reviews now that I’ve been a customer.
I had 4 items to frame. 3 of them were oils on loose canvas I picked up on a trip, and the other was one done by my cousin which was on a board which warped in a bit. Susan was an incredible help and was very patient while I sorted through hundreds of options for all four items. She gave her opinion just at the right times and pulled a lot of great options from the wall I would never have thought to use. She got a great feel for what I was looking for.
This was also my first framing experience. It was not an inexpensive experience by any means… I think I paid around $ 950 for four pieces, but the work is stunning and I’d go back and do it again in a heartbeat. She stretched all the loose canvas items perfectly and even managed to flatten the warped piece. You can tell by the backside of the frames what high-​quality work it is.
What I’ve learned in life is to wait until you can afford to do something right and buy higher quality. Don’t waste your money at a discount store with cheap, boring, shoddy frames, and then have to correct your mistake 5 – 10 years later. Go to Morita’s and get it done right the first time.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I lucked out by following the advice of the other Unilocalers’ amazing reviews!
My husband and I recently got married, and we decided to have an important wedding-​related document/​piece of artwork framed. We generally prefer to go to mom and pop stores rather than chains, so we did a Unilocal search and found Morita’s.
We visited on a Saturday several weeks ago, and I had some ideas of what I wanted to try with our artwork. Susan completely understood what we were looking for and was extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the store’s selection, as well as what would work best to show off our art without overwhelming it. We tried probably 50 different combinations of frames and mats and after about 2 hours, we decided on one that we thought would really work. *click*
The store was clean and well organized, and they have a huge selection of mats and frames.
They asked for a 50-​ish% deposit and said that they were running about 3 weeks out. I was so excited to see the finished product that I called before their promised 3-​week delivery window, and sure enough, it would be ready the next day. I got a call this morning and went right over — 16 days after our first visit.
When Susan unveiled my framed art, I believe I actually let out an audible squeal. It looked amazing and completely exceeded my expectations. I’m really picky, so that’s saying a lot.
I cannot recommend Morita’s Picture Framing highly enough, and I know that next time I have something important to frame, I’ll be taking it here.
Note: Please note that this level of quality work probably costs more than taking your artwork to a local chain. However, you’re paying for it to be done the right way with high quality matierials, and you’re paying for professionalism and framers who have a great eye for what will make your art look the best it can possibly look. Well worth it in my opinion.

Had an over-​sized charcoal piece framed here. These are tricky because you need a space between the glass and the canvas, and you need the canvas pinned in the middle, not just on the edges.
The young lady and her mom were really helpful in finding the right frame. They weren’t just helpful in getting the right frame and glass but they were friendly and nice as well. It may not seem relevant but I think it’s vital. From the way they treated me, I knew they would handle my art with care and would do their best on the work.
They finished the framing in three weeks and it looked wonderful. I couldn’t ask for more in a frame shop.
