We provide after-​school educational therapy services for students struggling in reading, spelling, writing & math.

During the day, we also offer a Homeschool Academy for students that want specialized instruction in language arts and math.

In the afternoons, we also offer an intensive Kindergarten program for students who need an extra push towards reading, writing, and math skills.

Our center has proven scientific methods for aiding children with learning differences and helping them succeed with learning that lasts.

History

Established in 2003.

We were founded by a resource specialist with over 30 years of experience in education. Through her experience, our founder has developed a specialized program that helps children succeed. We use a diagnostic approach to find each students individual needs, and tailor their program to fit them. Our specially trained our instructors to use the most successful and innovative programs for children with learning difficulties.

Meet the Business Owner

Susan R.

Business Owner

Before starting Reading & Spelling Solutions, Susan taught in public schools and universities for thirty years, and worked as a program specialist for special education in California’s schools. She was inducted into the National Registry of Outstanding American Teachers in 2006, and is a former President of the California Association of Program Specialists.

With over thirty years of experience, she has developed a multi-​faceted, scientifically-​based method for successfully helping students with mild to moderate learning disabilities and dyslexia.

By using a diagnostic approach and combining several different state-​of-​the-​art teaching programs, our students receive a personalized and extremely effective method of educational therapy.
