Silicon Valley Spine Institute began with Jeffrey D. Coe, MD, orthopaedic spine surgeon. He was fellowship trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has been practicing in the Los Gatos/Campbell area since 1992. Our physicians are all fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. They have years of experience in treating spinal disorders and are involved in research and technology. Sandeep N. Gidvani, MD completed his comprehensive spine surgery fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Coe and Dr. Gidvani have a strong background in biomechanics of the spine. Konrad H. Ng, MD is our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management specialist who also assists in the total care of patients by being able to offer spinal injections, EMG’s and other non-operative and pain management care. The practice continues to grow with the addition of our Physician Assistant, Lisa Finger, PA-C who assists in the clinic as well as during surgery.

Business Owner
Jeffrey D. Coe, MD is a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon. He has been in practice in Los Gatos/Campbell since 1992. His practice is devoted to the surgical and non-surgical care of spinal disorders. He is the current Medical Director of the Center for Spinal Deformity and Injury in Los Gatos. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1975. He graduated from Washington University (St. Louis) School of Medicine with his M.D. in 1979. He served in the United States Army from 1979 until 1992. His internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery was performed at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco from 1979 to 1983 and the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children from 1983 to 1984. Dr. Coe is a Fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society, a member of the Cervical Spine Research Society, a member of the North American Spine Society, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
