Description

Specialties

For Goodness Snakes specializes in reptile educational programs for preschool to high school age children. Whether it’s an assembly, a classroom or a festival we can tailor our program to meet your needs. We also specialize in birthday parties, summer camps, scouts, festivals and company events. Our programs introduce the audience to the facinating world of reptiles with an emphasis on education. Then the fun begins with Brians hands-on approach as he allows his audience to hold and interact with his animals. His animals have been held by thousands of people and are extremely docile.

Fortune 500 companies have brought us in for team building seminars. Adults fears are quickly overcome with Brian’s patient approach and before the event is over everyone has held or touched an animal they once thought they never would.

For over a decade Brian Gundy has shared his reptile friends with tens of thousands of children and adults.

Meet the Business Owner

Brian G.

Business Owner

Brian Gundy has been a lover of all animals since he can remember. He grew up in Campbell, Ca and could always be found outside looking for snakes, frogs, lizards or any animal in the creeks, orchards and mountains of the bay area. At the age of 15 he purchased his first snake. From there his interest in snakes grew. At the age of 18 he worked at an animal hospital for 9 years. As an animal technician he worked on animals such as cheetas, lions, wolves, hawks and domesticated animals.

Then Brian was drawn to racing pigeons. After 25 years of racing he decided to retire his birds and get into the snake business. He formed For Goodness Snakes in1985 and began breeding snakes. In 1995 his son was in elementary school and that is where Brian got his start into educational reptile programs. The business grew from the interest in his animals and how Brian presented them to his audience.

Brian continues to breed and sell snakes but most of his time is spent doing his reptile programs.
